An absolute must for the PS5. After rapidly exhausting the onboard storage with just several titles we needed the extra space. The Samsung drive fits perfectly with the heatsink. The price is cheaper than the WD Black drive but still allows for playback directly.

This drive was well priced and has a good storage capacity for my ps5 games that I want to download. It conveniently comes with a heat sink and is easy to install.

Purchased mine in November 2022 and didn’t need to upgrade the firmware to get the higher read and write speeds. However, before knowing if it would need to be updated or not, I asked the geek squad in Best Buy and they said they could not do it. Nice heatsink. Pretty easy to install. Games are running smoothly without any issue.

This memeory card is a must have. 2tb is enough memory to enjoy. Easy to install. It has a fast transfer process and install tranfer. Also this type of memory has a heatsink to protect the memory caed from over heating. The price is right.

Easy install very fast. This model comes with the updated firmware that does not have the “read only” bug. And it does not come with the m.2 screw. Reasonably priced as well and I love that it comes with a built in heat sink.

Works perfect and was so easy to install! Can’t tell the difference between games on the drive vs the console. Use it in the PS5 so I can have ps4 and ps5 games downloaded on it to play. I had an external and could only store and play ps4 games on it :(

Needed extra storage for my PC. This was on sale. It is plenty fast. I made sure it is on the good firmware: please read around, if you get one with the bad firmware it will die on you in a couple of months... do yourself a favor and update its firmware immediately

I bought this for extra PS5 storage. It was super easy to install and formatting was quick. I think my system said it got 6700 mb/s read speed. I moved a 75GB game to it in about a minute. So far I’m very satisfied with it.

I needed a SDD card for my PS5, and after doing some research, this one was perfect. Now, part of the reason why I got this one was because it was on sale at the time. What's great is even though it's an older model, it's still fast. But if you're not worried about the speed, the storage size is plenty since the majority of games these days take up a chunk of GBs. Installing it wasn't much of a problem, I looked at a youtube video, but I do recommend that you get the one with a heatsink included and don't install one without one because it can potentially damage your system without one. Overall, until the 990 goes down in price, the 980 is still perfect.

Good price since it was on discount. Comes with heatsink so no worries of troubles later, good speeds when transferring from main storage to external or vice versa.

This is a great upgrade for your PlayStation 5. It allows you to have almost 3 terabytes of storage when combined with the onboard storage. Easy to install and work super fast.

Bought this only a month ago for my Ps5. Works great since installing which did not take more than few minutes. *Cleaning the dirt you find under your console plate should not count towards install time.* Loads up my COD mw3 game relatively fast. I noticed No difference than from before installing the SSD card. Helped me free up tons of data space. No more switching between USB drives that i had before buying this SSD. I play for a few hours regularly sometimes 4/5 depending on the day. No problems with overheating yet, no game lag that I noticed. For my first time SSD card purchase I am very pleased.

This item was very easy to install in ps5. Got if for 60 bucks cheaper than normal price. Dounbled the storage and its a little bit quicker.

Brought it for my ps5. Super easy to install since sony left a port empty for it. Plug the ps5 back in and turned it on. Format it once you get to the home screen and done. All your games are ready to be played. Not like the external hard drive setup i had before were you have to download the game to the system and than play.

This was a great addition to my ps5. It downloads games fast and has alot more space i can use. Very easy to install. High-quality and definitely recommend this product.

this thing is amazing for ps5 and pc used it in my new build after all the parts came in but before those parts came in i used it in my ps5. Now the ps5 usage was good and tbh bigger would be nice but gotta keep a budget you know so i am buying another after all this time since its on sale. Speed is great and heat temps is good too in ps5 and in pc. and i live where its hot most of the year and it keeps temps at safe level. overall i recommend 100% but if you got money bags to spend maybe go for a 4tb but i really do recomend this one. A LITTLE PSA IF YOU USING IT FOR PC DOWNLOAD THE SAMSUNG WIZARD SOFTWARE AND UPDATE IT APPARENTLY SOME NEED IT TO EXTEND ITS LIFE I DONT HAVE ALL THE DETAILS ON HAND BUT JUST DO IT
