I intentionally purchased this item to replace a faulty m.2 drive. It is fast, easily installed and has performed perfectly. Personally, I believe that the product is worth the price.

Excellent speed and price, very easy to install with basic tools. I cloned a smaller Kingston hard drive to this one using the Kingston software and everything worked perfectly. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for more storage or building a pc.

Super fast SSD. Esay to install and works perfectly with Samsung magician software. The price point was pretty reasonable too. My only drawback is wishing I got a larger size drive...I would recommend

This is a very high-quality and fast NVME. I have a 1 TB installed as my boot drive, and a 2 TB to install games. I have used Samsung SSD’s for years and have never been disappointed. Plus, I got this at a great price. I’m still at maze to how quickly my computer boots, and how fast and smooth my games and apps run. Can’t recommend this NVME drive enough.

My computer has been wonky ever since I got it a little over a year ago. I bought it pre-built since I didn’t have any computer knowledge. After trying everything I could to help my computer stop stuttering, including checking hard drive malfunctions, I realized that I had a bad M.2 SSD. I scoured Best Buy and found this product. Ever since, I haven’t had any issues with my disk overloading, and my games have been running so smoothly. Highly recommend this product for it’s price and quality.

My computer was slow, the 990PRO was installed by BB Techs and I was truly amazed by the increased speed and response time. I was prepared to upgrade my computer, however with the 990PRO, I have a new / faster computer, great product without spending thousands on a new product! Highly recommended! Very satisfied!! HK

I installed the Samsung 990 PRO 1TB as a second drive in my PC, and the performance has been outstanding. Setup was quick and painless, and the drive was instantly recognized by the system. Read and write speeds are extremely fast, making it perfect for storing games, large files, and demanding applications. Load times are noticeably shorter, and file transfers are almost instant compared to my older SSD. Temperatures stay well under control even during heavy use, and the overall system feels more responsive. Samsung’s reliability and build quality really show with this drive. Picked up the Pro for a good deal. Would have liked 2+ TB, but this will do for speed and longevity. Great SSD

Samsung always makes a great product! This drive is no different - I purchased this for a laptop and it sped up my system. The Samsung magician software makes it easy to update the firmware. No complaints at all. Well worth the purchase.

Used this for an OS and cloned it via magician. Took less than a minute from a 500gb 980 pro. After installing double check to make sure its on the newest firmware. I bought a few 2tb 990s and they were already installed with the newest firmware. Hopefully they have fixed the issue with some people reporting them dead after awhile. The speed is good for a 1tb sized (compared to the higher space drives). In magicians peformance benchmark it did 6453/6345 read/write. My 990 2tb's are 6989/6978 read/write . I stayed with samsung cause I already have 980 evo and 850 evo ssd. So far so good.

This SSD is the best storage ive ever had letting me stream my games at high speeds with no problems.

I initially bought Crucial - P510 1TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 5 as expansion for my son's college laptop because it was less expensive and more recent tech (Gen5) than other brands with similar capacity. After buying, I was researching fit and found that while the laptop is compatible with GEN5, it will not make use of the enhanced features and will actually generate extra heat vs. a Gen4 alternative. This may not apply to you, but after researching I bought this Samsung - 990 PRO 1TB Internal SSD PCle Gen 4x4 NVMe for $30 more. It was easy install (found I didn't even need heat shield) and works quick/great.
