Was looking to improve the storage space of my unit the Samsung fit and took care of the job quite well have received no issues. No crashes or loss of data would recommend and a personal note. I feel that the use of adding extra storage is quite important and it is a waste of time to add a terabyte at least 2 TB is always needed nowadays. Sorry for the upsell, but that’s just my personal thoughts.

Great addition to PS5, Fast, great price, reliable

I dropped this in a PS5 and it worked without any issues at all. This was a lot easier than adding a larger drive to a PS3. I didn’t have to do a lot of messing around trying to clone and format the drive. I have a couple of the 990 pro drives in a PC, but they’re the ones that don’t have a heat spreader added to them. 2TB drives do run a bit warm. It’s really for the best to buy a good aftermarket heat spreader instead. The value was good at the time I bought it, but prices of DDR4 DRAM and Flash memory are going up, unfortunately. Things are still better than when a good 500GB drive was $150.

Bought during the July sale to expand my PS5 storage. With the heatsink this is ready to install and was quick to install on the PS5 and transfer games over.

Seamless. Easy to install. Runs great! Formatting was easy. The hardest part was getting the panels off the playstation

Best item to upgrade old systems this item also has heatsink definitely need to upgrade firmware so it doesn’t destroy itself.

I initially bought the WD Black "made specifically" for PS5 and no matter how many times I tried, the console would not recognize it. Took it back and exchanged for this Samsung, worked immediately and have had zero issues! I usually stick to Samsung but tried something different and learned a lesson to stick with what I trust.

This is a great pick up for my PS5, its fast and reliable for my saves.. thankfukly Nabbed this baby on sale, more games to download on my Playstation 5.

I really am enjoying this purchase. It helped with my storage big time. I haven’t really seen the difference in speed but I feel like that’s more a computer than a ps5. So that’s okay the PS5 still works fast. Plus I have another piece now for my PC when I start to build it.

Very fast drive, easy to install (Just use the samsung magician software to update the device firmware). Very great for home pcs. Cannot get much faster than this

Super easy to install into my ps5 I only needed a phillips screwdriver and works great a lot more games I can download all at once and storage in general.

I really don’t know why I never bought this. Makes my PS5 perform a lot better. Super easy to install.

I ordered this to expand my storage capacity on my PS5. The ordering process was simple and it was ready quickly. Once I got home adding it to my console was easy and now that it's in the console it works great I've had no issues, games load quickly and do not freeze. The price was decent since it was on sale for black Friday.

I installed the Samsung 2TB ssd into the ps5. It was quick and easy. I recommend it if you are thinking about wanting more storage. It's also lightning fast.

Definitely worth it when you’ve got multiple gamers in your household playing different games on the same console. With the size of today’s games, we quickly ran out of storage and grew tired of shuffling games on and off the console storage. It’s a necessary evil, unfortunately, but this SSD is incredibly fast; we were able to move 100gb games off the console and onto the SSD within 30-40 seconds! However, I really hope future next-gen consoles will come with at least 2tb of internal storage.
