Simple plug-n-play, fit my Alienware r16 pc perfectly. Performance sees to be running great no issues yet. Just buy the tiny screw to insert on the existing screw on the board. Def a great add-on to your PC to increase memory.

My laptop came with a 512GB drive, which was not enough for my needs. I decided to purchase this 2TB model and it worked perfectly. I've always had great success with Samsung products but this new 990 Pro 2TB model is an absolute dream. Actually, this is my 1st m.2 NVMe drive and I've never been more satisfied. It's extremely easy to install but it's the FASTEST drive I've ever purchased. I've read that it's 15x faster than standard SSD 2.5" drives. I believe it! I go from a code boot to a full desktop being presented in under 8 seconds. Extremely nice! Highly recommended! I'm sure you'll enjoy yours as much as I have! Your friend in Virginia

Maybe a little overkill bit i love the magician software and when its on sale, its close to the same price as the oher higher end ssd’s. This will always be the king of gen 4.

Solid NVMe for the price. Has top tier speeds for a PCIe 4 M.2. I highly suggest it for a storage drive. If you want an NVMe for a partitioner e.g (windows). I would suggest a PCIe 5 since they reach 5 digit speeds.

I bought this to put in an MSI Katana 17-inch gaming laptop. It works great with everything that I use it for. The boot on my laptop is around 4 to 7 seconds from the button to log in. It blazes through MS Office Adobe Acrobat and all my games including Dragon Ball Fighter Z, Mortal Combat, Horizon Zero Dawn, and others without breaking a sweat. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought this item on discount, and I've been really happy with my purchase. When you open the box, the SSD is housed securely but easy to get out. You just plug it into your M.2 port and go through the process of initializing it. You can find all kinds of tutorials online if the instruction booklet isn't to your liking. Overall, I think I got a good product for my money.

These are the best m.2 drives on the market. I never had one fail and their read/write performance is very fast. The inflated prices over the competitor are worth every penny. I highly recommend these drives Btw I paid $80 for 500gb.

As expected from Samsung, it works perfectly for gaming. I've been using this brand for a long time and I never had any issue with it. Fast selling and a good price for it. I'm happy with this purchase. My next purchase will be a 4TB because AAA games are going crazy with the storage space.

I tried WD SN850X and the Sk Hynix P41. Both are very fast but the 990 Pro is faster. Unfortunately I got BSOD with the latter fixed with a memory scan. The Samsung has been rock solid and came with the latest firmware. Runs fast and cool. The below pictures left to right are 990, 850x, and P41. They are all fast! All at standard not performance modes.

I have purchased these 4 times all just to expand my storace, the read writte speeds are exceptionally good, reliable storage from a trusted brand. I highly suggest you download the app from the samsung website to update the card and keep it well maintained, it will show you speed, you can test and also the temperatures.

Been a fan of Samsung SSD's for a while now due to their reliability and speed and this drive meets the mark. Cost to performance is great as well, solid upgrade coming from a raid 0 sata array.

Fast writing speeds and loading times for all my games. Very easy to install as well. MW3 loaded in less than 20 seconds.
