A great drive. I use the same 4TB 990 Pro without a heat sink on my desktop computer, but I ended up buying one of these for my PS5 Pro to be able to load in tons of games. Great drive, but that said, I did have an "interesting" buying experience with this. The first one, I bought came in a sealed (stickers) box, but was DOA when plugging into multiple computers. The red LED that's on the heat sink it didn't light up either on power on. On close inspection of the heat sink, I noticed stratches on the normally black painted part of the heat sink. When I replaced the defective one at the store, with another identical box, after opening it, I noticed a sticker where those scratches were that read "Warranty Void if Removed" -- that sticker was missing on my original unit. So, either it was returned and restocked, or a bad refurb. Anyhow, the one I have now works great and was easy to install. I didn't even know it had a red LED on the heatsink until I plugged it into my computer to ensure the firmware was up-to-date.

This drive is really fast. Works very well for viewing tons of photos or uploading videos in just seconds. The 4TB will hold all of my photos for the foreseeable future.

It’s the best sim that I have ever bought. It is quick and my PS5 games are up and running.

It was easy to install, it’s been functioning very well. I’ve put so much stuff onto it and there’s still so much space left. Def recommend.

Nice and sleek design for a PS5 slim. Increased speed and performance. Definitely great for those of that play games that require a lot memory. One thing to keep in mind when buying a SSD for the PS5 slim, you don’t have as much room behind cover as you did for the original PS5 model. Pay attention to the heatsink attached to the SSD because you won’t be able to put the plate back on for the PS5 slim. You don’t have to get the 4TB but I do STRONGLY RECOMMEND this particular SSD for any of you that has the PS5 slim!

Great addition to the PS5 pro storage, it fills up quick and this adds lots of room for fun, so much fun and activities!

I originally went with a 2 TB stick for my PS5. I already have a 4 TB external PS4 drive that is only for PS4 games, the internal SSD is only for PS5 games. If I knew a couple years later I'd be out of room on the 2 TB Internal SSD I would have just spent the extra cash on the 4 TB SSD. I'M very pleased and it's specs. are better than the 2 TB which isn't made by Samsung. Now I have to figure out which of my 2 computer's and one laptop to stick the 2 TB in. FYI it was on sale, $100 off original price.

This has improved my PlayStation 5 experience 100 fold! Easy to install with the right tools (also purchased at BestBuy-shameless plug). I don’t think 2TB is enough. I am so glad I got 4. While more expensive, I don’t see this as something you want to purchase or replace regularly.

The staff were helpful assisting me to locate the item in store. Works great and well worth the money. It would make a great gift for my youngster.

Installed in a MSI Ryzen R9-9900X Computer. Make sure you write down all the info on the back of the memory. This is needed to register the device.
