I really like how quiet it runs. Clothes are getting cleaned. The only issue I would bring to your attention is the pre rinse bin. It is pretty deep and when the lid is open I keep hitting my head trying to get the clothes out. As well, when the detergent is near empty and you are trying to fill the tray for the detergent the rinse bin gets in the way.

The controls take some getting used to, so have your manual handy. The rinse sink I doubt I will get much use from; the chihuauas won't sit still in it. The capacity is great. I will have to see how reliability holds up.

We made the switch to a top loader after our front loader stopped on us. We researched a lot and kept seeing such positive reviews for this machine. We could not be happier with this washer! It runs quietly, holds so many clothes (including our king sized comforter! @@@@@@@ , and really washes everything well. We get a lot of use of the rinsing basket, as we have small messy kids. Would recommend this washing machine to anyone!

I have had and loved my Samsung TVs and refrigerator for many many years so when it came time to replace my ancient washer I figured to give Sammy a shot. Not sure it was the correct choice. Note: some of these may be due to the learning curve with the new technology. A few issues: 1. Plastic/nylon water supply connectors. They work, but metal would have been more durable. 2. Water temp selection doesn't seem to allow warm wash/cold rinse. You can make changes to the default temp but looks like there is only one temp for the entire cycle. I need to research some more. 3. Balance issues... This is my biggest issue. Machine is level and even when clothes are carefully arranged they float up in the water and get rearranged to be out of balance. Different for different loads... Bad results on a small load of athletic gear... bad results with a load of sheets and work shirts... while a load of towels spun smooth like a turbine. It seems like this is going to require checking in real time for every load.... which is way more engagement that I expect when it comes to doing laundry. On the plus side I got this during a BB $210 off sale. But I probably should have read reviews from sites that don't sell these things and I am thinking I probably should have got another Whirlpool like my old one. YMMV...

    Doesn't Save Energy

After reading all the reviews we decided to purchase this machine anyway. It doesn't save on water because you either have to use the extra rinse cycle or the deep wash; sometimes both. So, in their effort to save water, you actually use more. In an effort to save electricity, you actually use twice as much. I certainly do more loads because I can't put too much in at one time. So all those efforts to save energy are failing. I don't like that you can't do a separate pre-wash or soak from the cycle. There are times when I want to pre-wash or soak something before adding other clothes. They want you to soak and then directly go to the cycle. No stopping to add more clothes. I don't like that I can't control my water temperature. I don't like that I can't set the high spin on all cycles. The clothes frequently come out too wet. Which means the dryer works harder. Again, not saving energy. Why is the washer is so deep. You certainly can't load it with a bunch of items because they won't get clean. So that's a bunch of wasted space. It seems to be very tall. I am 5'7" and I can just barely reach the bottom. I did take the recommendation to fill only the outside of the drum for the sensor to work properly. This does seem to work. Pros: It does use less detergent. Considering all machines are smart machines, this one is okay; so far. Yet, I have had only one smart washer. Bottom line: These smart machines are not allowing you to make your own decisions for your tasks. Ergo, you must outsmart your machine ; @@@@@@@
