The Best Windows Phone on Sprint!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Review! Design: The Samsung Ativ S Neo looks and feels great. It has more of a business style look and appeal. The physical home button and capacitive buttons has a great feel and response. Display: The 4.8 inch LCD display is great. Looking at the screen in sunlight is no problem. Everyone will be able to watch videos on the HD (720 x 1280) display. Interface: Windows phone 8 is a great improvement over Windows phone 7. The OS is fast and fluent. I haven’t notice any lag with the heavy usage I have been putting it through. The customization of live tiles, fast app start up, and other great features are most impressive. Messaging: Microsoft has one of the best messenger systems. It is fast, responsive, and the auto correct is fabulous. The phone also comes with Microsoft Office to help people stay productive on the go. Connectivity: The Samsung Ativ S Neo has 4G-LTE on Sprint’s Now Network. Internet sharing turns your phone into a mobile hotspot and you can also connect to 3G and WI-FI. Processor and Memory: The Samsung ATIV S Neo features a dual-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4 GHz with 1 gig of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory in the phone with support for expansion up to 64 GB microSD memory card and you get 7 GB of SkyDrive cloud storage. Camera and Video: The Samsung Ativ S Neo takes wonderful pictures that are stunning. The front facing camera is 1.9 mega pixels and the rear facing camera measures in at 8 mega pixels. The video quality is great with support for 1080p playback. Conclusion: Windows phone 8 is finally on the “Now Network” and The Samsung Ativ S Neo does not disappoint. I am very impressed with the platform and the great job Microsoft did with the Windows Phone OS. The Operating System is optimized with the hardware to perform at its max. The Samsung Ativ S Neo running Windows Phone 8 has all the missing features and apps that were missing from previous versions. I’m able to use visual voice mail, download call tones with Sprint’s Msuic Plus app, and Tele Nav is now Scout. I advise everyone to get Nokia’s “Here Drive” app for free Talk turn by turn GPS Navigation. You can even download the maps to your device in the app settings so that you don’t have to worry about losing a signal in a dead zone. The navigation will keep guiding you and save power at the same time. Even though it’s not listed on Sprints website at the moment, I have 4G LTE in my area which is Macon GA, and I have gotten at the highest of 14mbps down and 8mbps up. That’s tested with the "SpeedTestnet" app. Everything is set to download on my 64GB micro SD card and I have 25GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage that I kept before Microsoft lowered the offer. Overall this is a great device and I am happy to have upgraded my old HTC Arrive for the Samsung Ativ S Neo. Samsung has done a great job on the Windows Phone platform and Sprint has done a great job supporting the OS. To get more pics and video, follow my post in the community forum. Great phone for just about anyone!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About me: I'm 18, this is my third phone. I've owned a Google Galaxy Nexus, an HTC Arrive, and now this. I have family members who own the entire spectrum of Apple products, and I've used them extensively (almost a daily basis). I take pictures occasionally, but I don't care about pictures much, so long as I can occasionally take one that's share-worthy, and this does the job. Let me just say first off: Windows Phone is the best mobile operating system EVER! Unfortunately Sprint didn't see that for a while, and thus the delay in getting these phones. (HTC 8xt is the other) and still doesn't have a Nokia, (it would be sweet to have a kick-butt camera) but I'll go for this. Windows Phone is an amazing mix of almost-art and functionality, while still remaining amazingly simple. It is also the most personal, customizable, OS, while still not taking long to learn or customize. I had mine running and mostly set-up (save games and some apps) in 30 minutes, with a perfectly customized Start screen. The phone itself: the hardware is admittedly a year old, and a tad overpriced, but then again, Apple's hardware is 4 years behind and WAY overpriced, so this isn't that bad. If you hate plastic, you might not like this phone. However, I don't really care. What the phone feels like on the outside isn't what makes it premium to me, it's the experience from day to day, and Windows Phone doesn't disappoint there. The app store has grown significantly since Windows Phone 7, and even though I was expecting it to be somewhat improved, I was blown away by how much better it really is. There's perfect Instagram and Vine apps (6tag and 6sec), Facebook works perfectly, and Twitter has an official app. We got Angry Birds Star Wars 2 before iOS and Android (not that I care, I stopped playing after the first, but it demonstrates my point). All in all, this is one great OS, and a killer all-around phone. I recently visited my cousins (they are all Apple fans and love to tease my phones) they asked about my new phone and I showed them... In the process, I was surprised. Here's why: I pinned local scout to my Start 'cause it looks cool, but I had no Idea how well it worked. I never open it, but when I was out of town at my cousins' it saw where I was (without opening the app, mind you) and saw my cousin had liked a restaurant on Facebook. It showed the restaurant on the tile, and while I was showing my cousin my phone and how Live Tiles work, I saw it. she was all "how does it do that" then I showed her my family tile, and how I can just tap on it and immediately see what everyone's been doing, who's been texting, and text everyone super fast. I can see group photos or individual photos all at once. Everything I showed my cousins they were all like "wow!" All in all, a great phone I would recommend to anyone who doesn't care about pictures too much. And if you do, the only phone for you is a Nokia.

Great Windows Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've just moved up from window phone 7.9 with my carrier Sprint to the Windows phone 8. This phone has my apps I used before because those are the ones I really use. I am getting the same cloud access and software that I rely on. This is my comfort zone!

Samsung ATIV S Neo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I upgraded to the Samsung ATIV S Neo, I had the HTC Arrive. I did a lot of research between which Windows 8 phone to get from Sprint and the reviews were slightly better than the HTC 8X Windows 8 phone. I really like the screen resolution on the Samsung. The speakers sound good, and if you have 4G or 4G LTE service, it is super fast. Where I live, we still only get 3G but t here are a few spots I will hop onto the 4G network. The apps that I utilize are just what I need. I am not a huge app person because everything I need/want is integrated into the phone (Office). The phone looks just like the Samsung Galaxy S III but is not an Android OS. It's way better because it is Windows based. I really love the live tiles and how it can display the information I want to see. Facebook runs much better on the 8 than 7. I really like Local Scout because it pulls all the places nearby quickly as well as events going on. Again, you don't need to download a lot of 3rd party apps because it comes standard with the most useful and precise apps. The map/gps is spot on. Games from Xbox are fun to play, even though I do not own an Xbox. The ATIV S Neo is comes with a SIM card so if you travel, you can use it outside of the United States and a Micro SD slot for additional storage space. Skydrive is wonderful as it will automatically save your photos to the cloud if you turn the feature on. Overall, I love this phone and really glad I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8. I don't think I would ever be happy with an Android phone because I do not like to play games and I would never buy an Apple device.

Great Phone To Try Something New
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get bored with phones easily, having had an iPhone and Android I decided to try this. Sprint hasnt carried a WP8 phone that was worth getting until this caught my eye. Love the phone, only thing is certain things I miss about my Android phone like Google Now and syncing my calendar.
