NEVER another Samsung!!

NEVER again will I choose Samsung. We are a family of nine currently living out of a mini fridge and coolers. Allegedly Samsung released this line with a KNOWN coolant leak. I should have learned my lesson with our previous junk Samsung fridge.

Samsung Lack of Warranty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had my refrigerator for about 6 months. It was time to change the filter. I changed it before I went to bed. I got up in the morning and found that half of my first floor was flooded. The beverage drawer was warm and full of water and the freezer was also warm. It took me 8 hours to clean up all the water in the house and in the refrigerator. The water went into my son's library and ruined some of his books. Best Buy said I had to go thru Samsung to repairs. Not happy about that. I did a search on the Fridge and found that this is a known problem. When Samsung came out, they said that maybe it was the rings on the filter that were not aligned correctly but never got a clear answer. But the unit still had water leakage in my beverage tray. So a 2nd technician came out and I did not understand what he said but it has not dripped since. A claim was put in for the damage and just got an email from Samsung saying they will not honor the claim as I did not use a Samsung filter (FALSE, it was a Samsung filter not a generic one) and that they found nothing wrong with the fridge. So the "small" claim that I have is denied. I will never purchase another Samsung anything again. Silly Samsung. For a small $100 claim they will loose my business as I will not purchase anything from a company that does not stand by their products. Silly Samsung, that is thousands of dollars in future revenue they will loose from me and I will make sure that everyone knows they will not stand behind their products. they know full well, this is not an isolated case, this is a known problem with the fridge.

Dont get help

AND I didn't buy warranty BC a new appliance should be last a least 5 years, my LG Refrigerator has 14 years and it's in a perfect working condition...HORRIBLE SAMSUNG. DO NOT BUY THESE..... I NEED one more year to pay and this REFRIGERATOR is Not Working and all my food that you see in the photo is in the garbage!!!!

Best buy refuses to refund me the difference from excellent to fair condition open box

Samsung now tells me that the scheduled delivery date of May 19 (over two months from now) will not be met with no indication when they will send the panels. Do not buy this refrigerator unless you like the no panel, "industrial" look.

Can't be fixed; not Samsung's problem?

We debated getting the Family Hub, and decided it was worth the extra money for the whole family to add to the instacart list right in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the instacart app doesn't work. A tech came to my house and Samsung support told him it probably couldn't be fixed. I called Customer Care and they said it was a problem with the app not the refrigerator. Instacart said it wasn't the app, since it works on every other Samsung device in the house. The refrigerator in the store has the same problem if you take it out of demo mode. The review is based on the poor customer support for such an expensive product.

They sent out a 3rd party company for diagnostics and they said it needs a new compressor. Excuse me but its not even 2 months old. The refrigerator was still functional at the time and now today the refrigerator isnt working and samsung thinks its cool to just not have a functional refrigerator to supply food for my family.

Samsung Bespoke Refrigerator

It does not cool anymore, lost over 600 dollars in food and couldn't get a geek squad tech to determine the issue. Now i am trying to get Samsung to tell me when someone can look at this fridgerator. Big disappointment with Best Buy and Samsung. So far a loss an no rewards.

Every time I called the Best Buy Management gave poor response and I had to cancel the order which was paid in full. It’s such a shame that local Best Buy sales personnel had no control over it once the sales is done. Everything has to go through by Best Buy corporate and that too customer paid the full amount had to follow through. Pathetic

Stay away from Samsung fridges

Service replaced the entire sealed system and that failed within a few weeks. Now scheduling my 4th service visit and just hoping to get my money back. Do you research on Samsung fridges. 70% of all fridge problems are with Samsung. If you have want your fridge to keep your food cold, look for another manufacturer.

To ensure optimal performance, we strongly advise setting the temperature to 0 °F (-18 °C) for the freezer and 37 °F (3 °C) for the fridge.
