After two years the first one gave way. While working this item was among the best washers I have had the chance to use. Very effective in cleaning clothes. What saves this review is the Geek Squad warranty I purchased at the point of sale.

It chimes when the cycle is over so you are aware of it ending. There are several different settings and it’s very quiet during the cycle.

Biggest complaint is that water sits in the door well so every time when you are finished with laundry you have to dry it out to keep a mildew smell from your clothes

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since we're a family of 5 now I decided to replace our older smaller washer and dryer to cut down on time spent on laundry. These new units hold a lot but they have drastically increased my time doing laundry. The washer can't seem to balance it self to spin all the water out so I'm having to take everything out untangle it and put it back in for a spin. Quick wash says 28 minutes but it will take over an hour to get all the water out. Dryer immediately tangles and balls everything up. So when the cycle is "done" I have to take it all out, untangle and undo the wads of soaking wet things and start another cycle. Took 3 cycles to dry the sheets off 2 twin beds. Almost a whole day just to end up with heavily wrinkled sheets and clothes. I don't understand how fresh out the dryer everything is so wrinkled. My other units were smaller and i had to do more loads but i got 5 beds worth of linens and towels done in ONE day. Returning immediately. Do not recommend!!
