I was happy with the keyboard cover until I noticed a spot on my screen. It looked like a small chip. I discovered a small sharp piece of metal sticking out of the keyboard right by alt and spacebar on the ledge that touches screen. So my brand new very pricey Samsung tablet is permanently marred by the Samsung cover designed to prevent such damage. We'll see how Best Buy handles this.

Way bigger than the iPad one. This does have back support but nothing you would carry around

The notebook does not add much functionality over what can be done typing on the screen surface. Keys important for typists are also missing. Getting off of DEX is also a nuisance. The S Pen does not fit securely in the notebook, so if you try to use it, you will probably lose your S Pen.

Got this to protect my new tab s4. It had something like a sharp metal wire sticking out of the keyboard between the alt and spacebar keys on the ridge that touches the screen. It scratched the screen. Best Buy is going to replace both. Good job Best Buy! Both are under 1 month old.

Too high of a price for the keyboard limited functionality.

First of all, I purchased this because I wanted a mini laptop experience. That means portability with productivity So for many reasons, I am very happy with this Keyboard: Pros: 1) Connection...just set the tablet into this keyboard and it is good to go, no Bluetooth required. 2) Keyboard feel/Ease of Typing...Personally, I have small fingers so these keys are plenty big for me. I am a fast typist so I liked the ease of typing on this keyboard. I asked a friend, a very slow typist with big hands, to type on it. He said that he found it much easier to type on this keyboard than an on screen one. 3) Portability with great Protection for my S4 Tablet...Yes, this keyboard/cover is a bit heavier than say a bookcover only. However, it is not too thick. *** It gives great protection to my tablet yet it is not bulky at all. 4) Ease of use. .Easy to move the tablet back into travel mode as this cover folds easily. 5) Portability with Productivity: I use this keyboard with my tablet like a laptop, I do not have to lug my heavy 15.6 laptop around anymore! 6) Keyboard uses it's own power, no Bluetooth pairing. This is one of the main reasons I purchased this and not a 40 dollar, cheaper Bluetooth keyboard. 7) I use MS Office quite a bit and type and type, so basically, I really do use this keyboard with my Tab S4 as a mini tablet and get lots of work done. 8) My overall score is 4.6 stars rounded off to 5 stars because of the rather FLIMSY SPen holder...please read below. Cons (1) 1) The SPen holder - While the SPen holder looks handy and sleek on this cover, and yes it is handy and sleek, the SPen can fall out! Yet, I came up with my own workaround. I place the SPen bottom side in the Pen holder. I discovered that it stabilized the SPen. It doesn't fall out anymore. * If you do lots of typing and don't want to have to carry a heavy laptop around with you, then I highly recommend this cover/keyboard. Yes it is expensive, yet, in my opinion, it is worth the cost because of the high quality and no more Bluetooth keyboard because this Keyboard/bookcover has it's own power. I highly recommend this keyboard because it makes the tablet more like a laptop!

I got this to go with the tablet for my girlfriend for Christmas. Can't give a full review yet. Will add more later.

Why--Samsung would you take away the Function Keys. Now I have to go and buy a keyboard with Function Keys

The overall design and look of this cover is pretty solid and premium looking. I definitely feel like it adds a good level of protection, and the tablet is easy to hold and use without having to take it out of the case every time. The one thing I don't like about this case is that the number row keys are slightly smaller than the rest of the keys. Idk what that's about or why they designed it this way - I would have given this a 5 star review had it not been for this - it really causes a lot of goof ups when typing and using numbers. But it is what it is, not a deal breaker, but a definite head scratcher. I've seen a lot of people criticize the fact that you don't get a track-pad on this. This is not really a problem until you're in the dex mode, in which case it feels like the touch input on the tablet is a bit "off" - so it would have been nice to have mouse access on the keyboard since Dex is one of the main selling points for this tablet. You can get around in Dex with just using your finger or the pen as a mouse, but you can definitely tell that Dex is designed with a mouse in mind. You can use a bluetooth mouse too, but...meh. Anyway, as far as the keyboard case goes. It's a definite 8/10 I would say.

I tried couple of other cheaper keyboards before settling for the original Samsung Keyboard. It fits so beautifully and works perfectly. Do not go for cheap gimmicks - it may be expensive but worth it.
