The old ASUS chromebook cratered, and they wanted $200 to repair. When I saw the Black Friday deal for $119.00 I decided to order it. It is a sleek little machine, and just as good as the ASUS it replaced at just over a third of the cost.

I bought this laptop for my 11 year old. It's lightweight, easy to use and great product for the price. He mainly uses it for school. I would recommend this product.

Great laptop - the battery lasts much longer than a typical windows laptop and it also turns on within seconds. Since you login with your gmail account, you can easily view your emails, save and access documents from google drive.

This chromebook is very light, fast, and easy to use. It's perfect for trips and easy to access. You can download chrome apps and android apps. It's touchscreen and you can play games on it with a game controller. It it a 5 star.

Only had a few weeks, purchase for my wife as she does not require any thing but to surf the WEB, Facebook & e-mails. Perfect system for these type functions. Light weight and has plenty memory for performance listed. Great price.

recently i purchased 3 samsung chromebooks with 4mg, my grandchildren ages are 14,9,& 7 . they were thrilled to death so i went and bought me one. now grandpaw is thrilled. this is a much purchase item for people of any age !!!

We use this in our food truck to display our menu. It is lightweight, very snappy and exactly what we needed at a great price.

I am pleasantly surprised by the Chromebook. The processor speed is more than adequate for browsing, emails, and videos. The memory has not been a problem as I use gdrive and OneDrive or a usb drive. The instant on feature is fantastic. I really like being able to turn it off and just lift the lid as needed. It is much more convenient than my tablet. The battery life even when using a chill pad is over 5 hours. I have not used the google play android apps as of yet. I do not anticipate that they will be a problem.

Purchased this for my 9 year old to use for school and general usage. It does what she wants and more. For the money you just can't beat a Chromebook. Bought the Samsung over others due to product reliability and performance.

Seems to be a great little Chromebook that is perfect for our use. Web browsing, checking email and streaming from Netflix and Youtube. We will probably not use this device for any gaming or other processor intensive tasks, so can't comment on that.

I needed a computer for an elderly relative for basic browsing. The salesman informed me that this one is good due to the relative ease of removing viruses if infected and is not likely to be infected. Good purchase so far.

I wanted something to carry around that would be great for short trips and still do most of everything my larger lap top does. Hard to get use to the keyboard pad but just because it is smaller in size. Love it so far :)

I like portability, and I have 3 "main" regular notebook computers, and 3 different chromebooks (They are the Acer, Samsung Chromebook Plus, and this one.) The main drawing point for this model is that support of Andriod apps. For new chromebook user, please be aware that most chromebooks DO NOT support Andriod app, like my Acer dated 3 yr ago. The lack of apps is mainly what frustrated me. So, this model solved the problem. Otherwise, I believe this model is good for travel and light-weight user, who mainly use online apps. I opened like 10 tabs in Chrome, I don't feel much slow down. I watch HD Netflix and MKV file on USB, it runs without lag. Screen quality is on par to the resolution, color is accurate enough. Speaker is a littke weak. However, there is one BIG draw back. It is the power/battery conservation drain. Even I use "shutdown", it seems that it won't retain the power much longer than just closing the screen. If I just close the screen, and let it go to sleep mode, it would last may be 1 to 2 days before the batter completely drain. If I put it in sleep mode, it would last like 3 - 4 days. it is a quite a problem. Because I expect that in "shutdown" mode, no power or very very minimum of power is being drain, and it last over 1 month. At least that's what my Macbook Pro does. After 1 month of not using my Macbook pro, it shows I still has 82% full from 90%. Another disadvantage is that it does not have USB-C charging, and require Samsung's own charger. It is a problematic, giving USB-C has been out since 2016... I am not it is Samsung problem, and the OS problem. Hope they would fix it soon.. Until they fix this problem, It is hard for me to recommend to a friend.

This thing is near perfect for on the go web browsing and web based computing. I just wish the screen was a little better. It is bright, but the viewing angles are really terrible, you have to have just the right angle to read semi-comfortably.

As the school district now has the children using Chromebooks in class this is nice to have around for studying and getting homework done. While probably not as fast as a regular laptop it has a great battery life for home uses and web surfing.

Got this because I'm anticipating more frequent travel, and don't want to bring a heavier device. Still adjusting to a non-windows-based os, but I'm happy I can do what I need to do without having to renew office every year. I hate microsoft.

Perfect for our granddaughter's required homework. Entering 5th grade, access to a computer was required. No more having to borrow or schedule to use someone else's laptop. She is very happy. It does what is required.

i originally got the camera for a gift but immediately needed it for his homework assignment. we got it up and running and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to operate. he is using it 2 - 3 times a week.

I wanted a compact device that was more than a tablet do be able to check my emails, browse the internet and do some work The specs on this Samsung Chromebook seemed to fit the bill. I haven't been disappointed in my first week of use.

This simple device is fast and very solid. I just wanted my son to have one for school that he couldn't download stuff on and ruin it. This one completely fits the bill and is a solid quality machine for $175.
