Most things I do on a computer nowadays is in the chrome browser so I didn't see any good reason to upgrade my old 2010 Macbook pro. Usually when I'm traveling I take my chromebook anyways. my old chromebook, though, only has 2 GB of RAM so I figure might as well grab this one on Black Friday with the 4 GB of RAM. Like the device so far.

It is super fast. Great for children to do their homework.

For the price it is a good computer . Google docs is amazing. I’m able to download documents and send them to my professors . This is a good computer for college. The only thing about it is that it is a bit slow when I’m typing in my notes online that the teacher has given out . There are somethings you can’t edit if she puts text boxes so we can expand it if we want . And the sound isn’t as loud as other computers but other than that it is a good computer !!! Another thing that some people don’t like is that there isn’t a left mouse button . If that is something you want then this computer isn’t for you . I really never used the left mouse button so I didn’t notice it into my boyfriend told me about it . The battery life is really good . I’m at school from 8am-9:30pm every other day and it last me the whole day !

My kids use chromebooks at school so I wanted to get them something that mimicked what they did there. These fit the bill perfectly. For the price, they couldn't be beat. Picked them up on Black Friday and they have worked great. Opted to go for this model over the $99 due to increased memory. Always go for more memory, if the extra cost is minimal in comparison.

debated between a chromebook and a tablet and very happy to have purchased the chromebook! slight learning curve from using windows but very easy to adapt and use - google play store compatibility allows android apps to be installed. great battery life! purchased for daughter, now my wife wants one, too!

The Samsung chromebook is the perfect laptop for those that need a fast turn on/off computer that is great for taking notes for class (google docs) or checking emails (fast Google chrome). Battery life of 11 hrs between charges! I used it all day for a 9 hour conference and I still about 38% battery left!

Great for just surfing the web, super fast start up and long battery life make this chromebook an excellent choice. It is perfect for traveling, the battery will last for the whole flight!

Simple to operate and small enough to transport easily

This does everything it should, but it just didn't cut it for me. Great for basic productivity, web browsing, and google play store apps. I wanted something small and portable to use for basic text editing of html and css files. It worked great for this, but due to the chrome based OS I was unable to properly preview any of the files without editing the source code. Not a big deal and I'm sure this wouldn't apply to most user. Other than that it's a great little machine for dirt cheap.

Bought this chrome book for my 5th grade daughter for school work and for extra curricular activities. She loves it! Easy to use and has been coming in handy for a lot of her school work. She loves it so much we ended buying one for our son to surprise him for his birthday next month!

Fast & easy to set up & use. ChomeOS is fast & safe for web browsing, emailing, buying stuff online, & paying your bills. Remember this is ChromeOS & not Windows. Windows programs can not be installed. That being said, Google has their own web based apps which are just as good. The only negative about this specific Chromebook is that the battery drains even when it's not in use (wifi during sleep is off). I have a year older model Samsung Chromebook & it'll still have half a charge after 5 days of no use. This newer Chromebook will be at 10% or dead after 5 days of no use. Actual battery usage & size is still the same though.
