But unfortunately, after just getting this phone 5 days ago, it slipped off the couch from 2 feet off the ground and now the screen is cracked across the middle. Hate to write a bad review but don't get this case for protection.

The side buttons are easy to press and there are appropriate openings at the bottom for connections. While the stand does protrude slightly, so does the camera lip, which means the phone doesn't wobble when laid flat. The stand looks great when pushed it, it's like having a Samsung nameplate engraved on your phone which is pretty neat... 100% worth the extra $10-$15 alone to go official brand (and avoid some random brand name from a third party case). The stand is efficient if you're propping the phone on your desk, but the phone will be too far angled if you intend to lie down and watch something; if you're only buying it for the stand I'd probably look elsewhere. Of the three official Samsung cases, this is the only one which has drop protection, so if you're clumsy like me and want name brand, this is your only option. If you're taking your phone to a construction site, though, get a harder case.

It clips on and can be removed easily, and therein lies the problem. The stand will pop off and the phone will fall over from a stiff gust of wind. I'd save your money for a kickstand case that works, or opt for a cheaper case without the stand.

I just received this cover case today (10/24) and after putting on phone, with my very first attempt to move the stand out to stand up the phone, it came apart. Clipped it back in and carefully set the phone on the table. The clip stands out at practically 90deg from the base making the phone lean very far back. Then, pushing the clip back in place, it came apart again. The only reason I'm currently keeping this case as I haven't seen a different replacement case, except the ridiculously priced flip case Samsung is offering....
