There are a lot of fast microSD cards, some even faster than this Samsung EVO+. However, those performance numbers are for sequential read/write, and what sets the Samsung EVO+ apart from the rest is much faster random read/write performance. Digital cameras do mostly sequential I/O, but a lot of the input, output computers do is non-sequential. So if you are looking for a microSD card for use with a Raspberry Pi, or any of the many similar single board computers out there, this Samsung EVO+ will make a very noticeable difference in performance. It is an excellent choice for camera use as well. While it is only rated at U1 write speed (10MB/s), in benchmarks it actually delivers 40MB/s sequential write, which puts it in the U3 performance category, and it should be suitable for 4K video recording (although I have not tested this myself, yet). So how does this compare to the more expensive Samsung Pro U3 microSD card? Random I/O performance is nearly identical, as is sequential read. The only difference is in sequential writes, which is much faster on the Pro. Since the EVO+ does seem to be able to meet the U3 write spec, it really is the best bang for the buck at nearly half the price of the Pro. I purchased one each of the EVO+ and the Pro to compare performance, and then I purchased 3 more EVO+ cards for my phone, tablet and other devices. It really is the best card for the price. Got it on sale for my fiancés galaxy s5. It works perfectly and despite what I was told, it's quite snappy. Don't let the low price fool you.. great storage option!!!

This is a small nice card. It has plenty of storage and is fast to save and retrieve data. You will have less worry about space issue for your video camera with it.

Good larger capacity storage. Only have a few items that require this type of card but finding the storage mount 32 gig for the price is not easy very happy

Bought storage memory card for my electronic reader, and to give extra memory and storage to my tablet. So far it has been as good as advertised. I have had no issues, or messages from the tab telling me that I am running out of, or using, too much memory. I will use it primarily to store my photos.

Works fine with Amazon Fire; with applications stored on the card. This memory seems relatively fast and reliable so far. Good deal when on sale.

It works great in my 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. I usually purchase SanDisk memory products but when I saw the sale for the Samsung microSD card, I had to try it. Plenty of storage, fast transfers and solid price. I'm sure this card will live up to the Samsung high quality brand.
