The fridge has been good so far. There is a lack of space on the doors but easy to overcome.

I love the family hub features which is why I bought it. Love the fridge features and the bottom freezer drawer function. Overall design dimension is ok except for the design of the top door hinges which is a few millimeters high preventing my cabinet doors from opening, I may now have to raise my cabinet hinges to allow me to open them agian without sliding out the unit.

This is a terrific fridge, but it is not very spacious inside. There is only one shelf sized adequately for upright items like milk, juice, etc. Was purchased out of box and associate said it was not damaged, just returned. Unfortunately, there were dents in the front freezer door an one on left upright door. Smart fridge feature is great, but still getting used to it.

I am very pleased with this fridge. PROS: It has a good amount of room in both the top and freezer. The tablet works well and is very handy. Good speakers and camera. CONS: It can be a little difficult to fit items in the door slots. The left side door space is pretty narrow in places because the ice machine takes up most of the room. The ice machine tends to "spit out" ice when using the crushed option, and is very loud.

Love the tech features but the door storage stinks. And we already have a dent and scratch on it. So if you have kids and are rough on stuff this might not be best. The ice maker is small. It does the job. But the best part is the look. Looks nice!

This is truly a fantastic refrigerator! Incredible that you can access TV shows, internet, music...all while hanging out in the kitchen. The only downfall I find is if you have tall items that belong in the refrigerator, not too many fit. This refrigerator has narrow spaces & not too tall spaces. So your tall bottle of teriyaki sauce or aloe Vera just may not fit at all in the door storage. The regular part of the fridge has very tiny spaces to put things as well. Maybe it's intended for cultures that use smaller items? Us Americans have huge food items probably, lol.

My daughter watches TV on it! The only thing I don't love about it is that the doors don't close by themselves. They need a push. However, the fridge tells you if the door is not properly closed. And the second thing is that the water/ice dispenser can get messy . I cannot compare with others to tell if this one is worse or just like any other. Freezer is huge! And shelves fold up for bigger stuff to fir. Love it!

    Cooling issues

6 weeks after installing it, the cooling system shut down. Water was leaking out of the door dispenser. I thought it was just a water leak, but upon checking, the ice maker quit. Then I checked the fridge, and all my food is "dewy" and the freezer food is thawing. I called Samsung and after unplugging and restarting, the fridge temp was 62 and the freezer was up to 27 degrees. The earliest service I can get is Monday. An entire weekend with no fridge is not ok. On the family Hub, we still haven't figured out how to create a family calendar. I've added items to my calendar but they never show up. Not sure what to do there.

Good refrigerator with bells and whistles that are not what they should be. We find the Family Hub to be a terrible Internet appliance and things like it won't connect to our iPhones a major hassle. @@@@@@@@ That didn't bother us when one of us had a Samsung phone, but that is no longer the case. @@@@@@@ I cannot go to Internet pages I want when I'm cooking so I still keep my tablet in the kitchen for Internet. Not being able to tell it I"m cleaning it and having the door-open warning going is silly. Not being able to set actual temperature in the flex section is annoying and not being able to set the amount of air flow in that section limits its use for more advance purposes. The ice maker is terrible, we are always running our of ice and it drips water every time we open the upper left door. The shelves are difficult to adjust and position for changing needs and container heights. The butter tray isn't covered and able to be set to warmer temperature. Buy the one without the hub you'll be much happier for much less money.

I had just bought a new place and needed a new fridge. I'm a tech geek and early adopter of technology, so this fridge was an obvious choice for me. I did wonder if this fridge would fit in my Apple-only ecosystem, and it really is fine. I did have to create a Samsung online account to use many features, but that's fine. I'm still learning about some of the features, but first I'll review what it's mainly supposed to be: a fridge. As with any fridge that has 2 side-by-side doors, make sure you have enough room to open the doors wide. If you can't open the doors completely it can make things difficult trying to remove some of the drawers. The separate drawer spaces are ideal. Being able to set the deli drawer at its own temperature is great. I really like that feature. I like the water and ice in the door, as I did not have that before in my previous fridge. I don't know if it's my water or the way it's designed, but the ice that's produced is "soft" ice, which I really like. Again, it may not be designed that way, but for me that's what I get. The adjustable shelves are ok. Thankfully one upper shelf will slide away half of itself to allow for taller items like gallon milk jugs and such, but it does not really make a lot of room. That kind of forces you to use the door bins (also adjustable) for those kinds of items, but that's not a good place to store items, where they will constantly be subjected to the temperature change caused by opening the door. But it's all manageable. Now for the tech features. The one thing I can't get the fridge to do well is display my television on its screen. It will connect with the TV (and it's not a Samsung), but the image won't display. I've not figured out how to get my shopping list created on the fridge, to display on my phone -- yet. The feature that displays what's inside the fridge can be invaluable. The fridge takes a picture every time you close the door. So next time you're at the store, if you can't remember if you have something in your fridge you can view it on your phone. You can't, however, see what's in the door bins. I've already synced my Outlook calendar, so I can see what's coming up each week or day without going to my phone. You can enter expiration dates of items in the fridge, and the fridge will alert you when those things are about to expire. I wish there was a way to do that automatically, like scanning the item rather than manually entering it. It will answer to voice commands with the Samsung assistant Bixby. You can tell Bixby to do things like set a timer, tell you the time, tell you your schedule, etc. I'm still learning.

The ability of this refrigerator is great. I love that you can get recipes right on the front, you can compose your shopping list and you can sync your phone to it so can get the list no matter where you are. You can get alerts on your phone whenever someone leaves the door open. The cameras that are built in the door view could be better. You can only see what is basically right up front. No visual for freezer or the vegetable bins. The top shelf does fold up on one side if you need room for something tall, however in my opinion the shelf space is not what I expected. My old icebox had more shelf space than this. So now everything looks junked in there. I'm glad I kept my old fridge for overflow space for taller items that needs to be on a shelf. The ice maker takes up entirely too much space. It would be better if it was in the door instead of taking up shelf space. My family love the capability just not so much the space availability inside. Not so sure that I could recommend this to anyone just because of the interior issues.

Overall, I love this fridge much better than my side by side. I honestly did not think I would use the touchscreen that much, but we use it for a few things. We've hooked up the RING doorbell to it, so we can see who is at the door. The Samsung Apps is what is holding this back. The shopping list WAS great, until it topped out at 50 items...that was lame. Don't really use the Pandora built in, but it works. We use our Bluetooth speakers in the kitchen instead over a fridge. Space wise, the interior is really nice. Lots of room and flexibility with the shelves. We like the shelves that fold up and the ones that slide back. The bottom drawer on the fridge is nice also (the top section). The freezer part is nice also. Like the sliding shelf in that. The only odd thing about the freezer is the handle. Not sure why they all like pull up when you pull on them, seems to be a new feature on these French Door fridges, but it just feels loose. In addition, the gap at the top of the door is slightly larger than the bottom, like .5" vs 3/8", which is annoying, but not noticeable. I've adjusted the doors myself since the installers were horrible. Overall, the fridge works great, the tech portion could be improved. Please note, the installation of the fridge was AWFUL from Best Buy. 0 stars for that. They dented the fridge (luckily on the side of the freezer), scratched my walls, got mud all over the carpets. Still waiting for some resolution from Best Buy. They are NOT fair in what they offer. I'm sure every install is different, but mine was not good at all.
