Said yes have to drain a gallon or so to filter out water. Tried as soon as they left and dispenser kept leaking. My previous one but in fairness was a different brand did the same. We returned and stayed with the old leaking one.

If I could return it, I would. It is quite small on the inside for how big the outside looks. The family hub sucks! It keeps disconnecting from my Spotify and the app on my phone amongst other issues. It could have been built so much better. The whole thing is subpar.

I did some research and found that they made a defective part and don’t want to fix it. Countless other have found the same issue. A lot of issues with these models.

Ice maker stop working allready 3 times since I bought it, temperature not going down light no working door sensor keeps light up

Dont Buy Samsung appliances

After a couple of months, it will freeze up and stop making ice. You have to defrost with blow dryer every month or so. I would not buy any Samsung products.

The ice maker also takes up a bunch of room in the fridge so it’s not as roomy as it first seemed.
