    This refrigerator is suppose to be a replacement for another Samsung refrigerator that is under warranty that they were not able to fix. The First time they came to deliver the replacement refrigerator it was damaged with dents on the sides and a small hole. This was discovered after they had a already disconnected my old refrigerator along with the waterline which they damaged. This caused a back up of water and leaks that has damaged my floors caused my toilet to leak and caused ceiling damage from the leaks. I still have not heard from their insurance adjuster. This has been almost a week. They came yesterday with another refrigerator in which the gasket was already peeling off from the door. Now they are telling me it's going to be five more days before they tried to deliver another refrigerator. I have been going through these problems for over a month now. I have taking over a week off from work altogether and still nothing. No refrigerator. No claim adjuster for my damages and to top it off I can't wash dishes cause my plumber had to shut down my water line because of the leak. MERRY CHRISTMAS. Best Buy is the worst I will never purchase from them. I have purchased over $15,000 in products over the past three years this time around I have experienced nothing but heartache, Inconvenience and the worst customer service I have ever gotten in my life.

    I have to update my previous review. We've had issues with the dispenser in the 9 months we've had this unit. The dispenser was replaced 4 months into using it. Another 4 months came by, and another issue came up with all the light indicators lit up and would only dispense cubed ice. It won't let us switch from cubed, crushed ice or water. The technician was nice enough to replace it again but the part was for the stainless steel fridge. Sigh, I'm just tired having to call Samsung because it takes a lot of time to go back and forth with them especially when the part is in back order. It's fortunate that we are still in warranty but that would soon expire in a few months. This is part of a kitchen package that we bought. Previously, it was the microwave that had to be replaced because the timer would run on its own. Sigh, I wish we didn't have to buy these Samsung appliances. The very least that Samsung could perhaps do is extend our warranty by another year. I'm just throwing the idea out there because the reality is, we're stuck with these appliances for the next few years. That is, if we are lucky enough to see the appliances withstand years of normal use.

    Do not buy black stainless products !!

    This review is for BOTH the $2600 refrigerator and $800 dishwasher we purchase ed. These looked beautiful in the store, but Black Stainless is an ill thought out, horribly implemented, idea. The ‘black stainless’ is nothing more than an applied coating on stainless metal that scratches FAR to readily. How companies can be selling this garbage is inexcusable!!! We owned the $800+ dishwasher ONE DAY and my wife accidentally slide her purse across it and it now has a huge, unrepairable, scratch through the ‘black stainless’ coating so you see the silver underneath. It now looks terrible!! Spending ~$4000 on 2 appliances, only to have them look terrible right away is inexcuseable. DO NOT BUY BLACK STAINLESS - especially LG!!!!

    Don't Buy Samsung Refrigerators with Screens

    Frankly I'm disappointed that Best Buy would even sell this product. The refrigerator works fine as a refrigerator, but don't plan on using any of the wifi connectivity or features of a Samsung Ref. You will be able to connect exactly ONE time, but every time after that the App crashes as soon as you try to connect. Therefore, no updating pictures, calendars events, etc. Samsung basically tells you TOO BAD just wait for our next update on the software, but doesn't tell you when that will be. And then keeps contacting you to confirm your "Issue" has been resolved. The refrigerator is fancy and high tech looking on the floor, but don't plan on it working at home. Do your research on any Samsung appliance. To bad too, I like their TVs.

    Our Samsung refrigerator's freon leaked right near the end of the warranty. We called Samsung to come out and repair the fridge. They sent a tech, who told them that the issue could not be repaired. We followed up with Samsung for a refund, and have been jumping through f-ing hoops for the last 6 weeks. They love to change your information in their system at whim, so good luck with any kind of paper trail. Ticket numbers? Nope. They change those without telling you. We are completely dumbfounded by how such a large corporation could be so unresponsive and irresponsible. Oh, wait. Now, I get why their phones were exploding.

    One week after purchase and my touchscreen is out

    I purchased this refrigerator and it was delivered a week ago and I'm not even moved into my new home yet, and I started moving stuff in today and the touch screen won't work. Screen is black and I've tried resetting it via online instructions but nothing is working. Tried calling geek squad to troubleshoot or get a tech and no one answered and Samsung is closed for the weekend. Very disappointed with such an expensive purchase that I was excited to make.

    Google Family Hub Ice Maker Issues

    Ice maker failed after six months. Can't be repaired, but under Warranty. I am almost 5 months into the Warranty claim process and still have not received a check. Even though I have received all necessary approvals from Samsung. Calls not returned, delays, ignore my emails. Worst Customer Service ever. Google "Family Hub Refrigerator ice maker issues."

    Samsung warranty only covers compressor. 4 years after $3300 purchase fridge will only cool to 59 degrees Fahrenheit , I now own a 200 lb brick. Wish I had seen the multiple online reviews about Samsung refrigerators prior to purchase. Also have a Traditional fridge that’s at least 10 years old has had zero issues.

    Asked deliver staff if water dispenser worked. Said yes have to drain a gallon or so to filter out water. Tried as soon as they left and dispenser kept leaking. My previous one but in fairness was a different brand did the same. We returned and stayed with the old leaking one.

    No Support for Apps

    Apps stop working and Samsung refuses to help they tell you to contact the various apps and they don't care to help so now no Weatherbug or Epicurious making the touchscreen nearly useless. Horrible customer support from Samsung. AVOID!

    The fridges family hub app doesn’t not pair with an apple phone , in fact when you try to install & open family hub on iPhone the app crashes everytime... if I woulda known this I woulda never bought it , I hate it
