I had 2 of the previous flat "fast" chargers. Didn't like them at all....had to be perfectly placed for contact and even that was sketchy. This one is perfect, easy to hold phone in place and see, i.e., nightstand clock, etc. I gave the other 2 away!

This is a great charger I have an otterbox case it works excellent . And for anyone who thinks the blue light is to bright at night (I personally do not think it’s to bright) just charge your phone long ways covering the blue light

I love the charger. No more fumbling with wires and plugins. Teach yourself to center the phone and the red light comes on telling you it's charging. When it is fully charged you will get a green light. (using a S9+ on this charger) It really is that simple to use and does a nice job charging. I have it on my desk but I might get another to put next to my recliner.

Purchased 10.1.2018 from Best Buy, Christiansburg, Va. for Galaxy S9 with Samsung LED Wallet Cover. Due to many reviews stating charging problems with covers, I wanted to make sure and post, this cover does not effect charging. Have not brought battery down to less than 50% yet, but charging at this level was quick and easy in portrait mode (standing, not laying flat) using the 'wall wart' included with phone and this charger (9 volt USB C). Sweet spot has been no problem. Eyeball alignment and it takes off. I have noticed very little heat generated while phone was on charger. I'd describe as warm. This charger saves wear and tear on phone connector. Highly recommend as MY experience is very positive.

Just bought this wireless charger for my iPhone X and it work beautifully. My only complaint is that if you are charging your phone at night the charging indicator light is quite bright and if you sit you charger on a night stand and be quite distracting when sleeping.

Easy to use and worth the price for fast charging.

We got this charger for free (thankfully) when we bought the Note 8. Read all of the instructions but there is not ONE mention of it not being able to charge your phone if you have the protective case on it (we have the high end Otter Box case that has 2 layers to it if you don't count the belt clip that covers the face of the phone when put on). So the case has to be removed if we want to use this type of charger. So much easier to just to plug it in!! So if you have an high end case to protect your phone, stick with the plug in unless you don't mind removing it all of the time.

I have a Samsung S8 with a Zizo (Bolt) case. The charger worked only with getting the case properly in the cradle. Either moving it left or right for it to charge. Until this was achieved it was pausing in the charge process. It charged both portrait and landscape position. The charge was longer than plugging the phone with using the cord directly to the phone. If one must receive a quick charge by removing a case than is it worth it, that would be a customer choice. One thing that was nice while charging a blue light would show while charging and when the phone reached 100% then a green light would show and charging would stop. To me it is more a inconvenience to remove a cover for a quick charge so I will return it.

Charges well, nice looking to have in living/bed room, very compact so it doesn't look like an eyesore

I thought having this wireless charger would be fun. At best, its problematic. If I just had the phone and no cover on it, this might be better. However, I have a leather cover. It does work, but problematic at situating it just right to keep it charging. If its off one iota, it bounces back and forth and then, when I don't notice, it loses the connection and I come back to a phone that was losing its charge when I thought it was charging. Sometimes the only way to know, is open up the phone and look to see if a charge sign is showing in the charger icon. So, I have to keep fiddling with it to make sure it is actually charging and not discharging. So 3 stars is best I could do. In my mind 2-1/2 stars would be more accurate now that I've been using it for awhile. Yes, it was free, but some people are actually paying a lot of money for something that, if you have a cover on your phone, may not always be charging when you think it is..... Just a heads-up.

I loved this charger from the beginning, but after about 6 months it couldn't keep up. Always had an Otterbox case on my Galaxy S9 and it was never a problem. Now, I have to unplug from charger to plug in directly to phone and the actual charger is a slanted phone holder. Not happy at all now, but first 6 months were awesome. Charging was fast and efficient and minimal fan noise. Would have returned it if it would have given a hint at the impending doom of failure. Hey Samsung, any ideas on how you can make this loyal customer happy again ?

I purchased the Samsung fast charge Model # EP-N5100TBEGUS, SKU # 6186104 from my local Best Buy in Peachtree City, GA. I took it home and tried to charge my I-phone 8 plus and after 20 seconds it stopped charging. I took it back and found out the Otter Defender Case made for Apple phones are too thick and the phone will not completely rest flat on the back of the cradle when it is upright or laying flat. It works perfect without a case attached, but I was not planning to buy another phone case, so I exchange the $69.99 Charger for an Apple Lighting to USB Charging Cable (1m) $19.99 and got my remaining $$$ back. If planning to use this charger use a thin case or none!!!

Ok... I'm a tech junkie, and I have had many phones....just this year alone. But wireless charging isn't something I've ever considered a big deal. So, I just want to make sure I understand "wireless" charging and why so many people rave about it. Bought this yesterday with a Gift Card, so not my money and I'm trying to be objective here. I have an S8, so figured, why not give it a try. Ok, you plug the charging cable into the wall, then into this wireless pad, set your phone on top and it begins "fast-charging" the S8. Only, my phone was at 7% and it said it was gonna take 2 hours and 33 mins to fully charge. I had a Speck clear case on at first, then I took it off to see if there was a difference in charge time. Same charging time popped up. I plugged in the charging cable directly into my phone, it said 2 hrs 5 mins until fully charged. Now, I'm no genius by any stretch... but that isn't fast charging, and it certainly isn't a reason to spend $68.99 just to have a leather stand to put your phone on, when the charging cable is a mere 5mm away. What a gimmick....I don't see what all the fuss is!!!! I have seen reviews of phones where people won't consider buying a particular phone, if it doesn't come with wireless charging. What on earth am I missing? Now, since I have, and it was purchased with a gift card, it I will use it which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. If, I had used my own money for this garbage...I'd be very unhappy.

Bought this today for the "fast charging" capability of this wireless charger. Unfortunately as I'm typing this review, My Note 9 only charged from 70% to 75% in 15 minutes! That's 1% per 5 minutes! So if you do the math from 0% to 100%, that's 500 minutes! If you watch Netflix while on the dock, the charger probably won't be able to keep up and probably end up draining more power than charging it. One star for looking nice but that's about it. Gonna return it the next chance I get.

So I have the Galaxy s8+ which has been having problems with the older Wireless Fast Charge stand that Samsung offers, and it was suggested to me that the newer "convertible" one might work. So after tax, this is a $90+ purchase, which doesn't charge the s8+. Basically, it charges the device for about 3-5 seconds before it disconnects. I guess I'll have to back to the generic Verizon Wireless charging stand, which works without issue every time.

Bought this charger for my Note 9. The first week or so , it worked fine but 2 days ago it stopped charging. Placed my phone on the charger last night and the blue light didnt even come on.. Will be taking this back and just use the regular wire chargers
