Product works as expected. Only drawback is my phone has to sit sideways in order to charge. I have an iPhone and use a juice pack case so the charging area sits higher than a Samsung without an extended bottom case would.

It was pretty great of Samsung to build wireless charging into their S7 phones. Although you don't have to have this fancy wireless charging base, it sure is nice to have it. I usually plug my phone just before going to bed. 90% of the time, I'm fumbling in the dark trying to connect the micro-USB into the phone (wife is already asleep!). Now I just drop the phone onto the base and viola, it's charging. It's non-essential, but for me, well worth the price for it's convenience.

I bought this upright Qi charger for an iPhone 8+ and it charges the phone. The only difference is that the led does not turn green when the phone is fully charged like it does on my Galaxy S7. I own 2 of these chargers.
