    I purchased the Samsung FIT 128GB USB Flash Drive for my wife's new HP Pavilion x360 2 in 1 14" Touch-Screen, Windows 10 laptop to double the existing 128GB SSD. I was motivated by the excellent reviews, 5-year warranty, and 5-proof technology that included water proof, shock proof, temp proof, magnetic proof, and X-Ray proof. My wife is a Ph.D. candidate in Virology and Microbiology. So, right now, she's using it exclusively for data storage, to include PowerPoint presentations, etc., for both her research and courses that she's teaching. Thus far, the flash drive is working flawlessly and we haven't seen any issues in speed or heat. As another reviewer noted, "Highly recommend this to anyone looking for storage capacity that you can leave mounted all the time."

    If your computer has a decent number of USB ports and you can spare one, this is a great option for an extra 128GB that can follow you. Yes, you can get 1TB+ portable hard drives, but I tend to leave them behind or find them bulky for the everyday. I found it stable without a noticeably slow loading or access speed.
