heat pours out of the top of the door, warping the knobs (which I've had to replace, twice in one year, so far!) After a few months, the oven door does not close all the way, so heat pours out. I'm currently awaiting for repairs. Very poor product, I can't believe Samsung gets away with selling this crap.

This did not fit the area it was supposed to fit into we were promised specifics in its design which it did not have very dissatisfied we’re being told a replacement with the one we originally wanted won’t be received until May 2 so my stove sits in the middle of my kitchen

It's the oven that makes me want to cook more at home again, and what a great 3-4 weeks so far! We also paired it with a new Samsung microwave, 1.6 cu size, and took it back -- instead spent just a little more for the 1.8 cu (Model #: ME18H704SFS ...has nice LED lighting, and very quiet fan, larger carousel glass...fyi, another big box hardware store had for an identical price, as Best Buy didn't so many in stock, so we could install on our own for the timeline we had). After comparing other split 1/2 style ovens, this one 'bakes' the cake -- ha -- wasn't sold on others have fixed 2-door spaces, after looking at the Samsung Flex Door and removable divider wall, it really is amazing. What you get is 1) half ovens... 2) whole oven... 3) bottom storage drawer, which other half-ovens eliminate altogether (take a look for yourself, you'll see. Didn't really notice that at first.) Really smart design (10 stars for ingenuity). The inside lighting is good, and each half has its own convection fan. We were first able to bake cookies, and then battered fish filets the next day, and then pizza the next easily in the top half... and for Thanksgiving, well, everyone came over and we put it through the paces, with separate temperatures top and bottom. Did I say, It's the oven that makes me want to cook more at home again? Don't forget the range-top, too! The included griddle = a personal favorite... has a lighter weight than cast iron offerings, plus nice curved end handles for lifting, and FUN to use. It's also ceramic -vs- iron, so it wipes and rinses clean easily, plus don't need to think about seasoning or rust. If anyone can recommend a nice Wok, thanks... hoping to try out the circular Wok ring soon! (I do love cast iron, so the 3 rangetop burner trivet pieces are quite authentic, yet also fairly light, simple and sturdy. Pictured, are 2 large bamboo cutting boards from a big box store... we put these across the top of our burner covers when not in use... just a tip to max space in our little home, plus keep crumbs out of the stovetop). Knocking off 1/4 - 1/2 star for pet peeves: the Clock could be centered, and perhaps larger; it's also way too bright (workaround: put a piece of scotch tape over to diffuse the brighness). Neutral Stars: there is a Wi-Fi app, but honestly it's probably overkill... and the connection process is a little odd. So, total stars = 9.5 - 9.75 (out of 5.0)... to share, it was challenging to see this model in person, since only about 1 of 10 stores in our area had them on display. So, if you're "buying blindly"... no worries, look no further, and as they say, "you know you want it, so just put it in your cart already..." We also were thankful for extended financing, and also found the Best Buy extended 5-year warranty the least expensive compared with other sellers. It's a step up from our 12 year old, failing oven, for sure... we could have spent much less, but know we'll enjoy this for many, many years to come. It's THE oven that makes me want to cook more at home again!!!

What attracted me to this stove was that I was looking for a one that had the capability of having a double oven. What I liked, was that this one had one that could also transform into a large single oven when needed. Some of the other brands had that option, but most of them had the bottom rack almost on the floor. Who wants to try and lift a turkey that is so low? I was pleased that it also had a drawer on the bottom. What really won me over was the variety of burner sizes, from a very small one to the large 18,000 BTU super burner. I also love that it has the griddle and the wok ring. I gave this stove a real workout on Thanksgiving and was thrilled with the results. The oven cooked the turkey perfectly. I used the smallest burner for keeping the butter melted without burning. The largest burner was great for heating the water up to boiling for the potatoes. I was able to have the turkey, which wasn't too big, in the lower oven while doing the yams in the upper one. The stove is easy to clean up and I really like that the top is flat across. I have not used all of the features yet, like proofing, but I have faith that they will be as good as the rest of the stove. I haven't used the connectibility feature, and probably won't. One word of caution, is that things cook a lot faster than you might expect. I'm having to go with the lower time needed for the oven. Also, some things cook better in the lower or single oven than they do in the upper one.

Samsung - Flex Duo™ 5.8 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Gas Convection Range dual doors are so innovative and makes cooking a breeze. It's the greatest feature I never knew I needed. It bakes, broils and cooks beautifully. Baking a cake, I'm never concerned it might flow over. Baked goods rise up perfectly, evenly browned and tasted delicious. The power burner is another favorite feature. It cuts boiling and grilling time. Everything always comes out amazing! I just can't express how happy this stove makes me. I have only one issue that I would improve upon and recommend Samsung address. Cleaning the cook top. It's not easy to clean the cook top. It holds onto grease and smears. It takes effort and time, yet still remains smudged. SO many features! The best stove I've ever owned.

I love this range, did have an issue with temperature setting going higher than 400, and I like to back but it did work using the full oven feature rather than top or bottom. Unfortunately I used the self clean feature, and would recommend it never be used as it burned the inside of my oven. Samsung would not replace due to physical damage even thought the damage was caused by the oven feature. Best Buy tried very hard to resolve rhe situation, ultimately I had to buy a completely new range, but because I did love this range prior to the incident, I replaced it with the same exact one. WILL never use self clean feature again!!!!

I was looking to get a double oven range until I found this unit. It has two convection ovens separated by a removeable divider. You can use it as two separate ovens or remove the divider and use it as a full-size convection oven. The door is split so you can open either the top half or the whole door for full-size or two oven cooking. The range has an 18,000 btu burner with a wok ring and also a griddle in the center of the cooktop. So far this freestanding range has been an absolute delight to use and has exceeded all my expectations. They also make a slide in (built-in) version with all of the controls on the front.

UPdating an original review. I've had this stove for a little over 4 years. Love it! I'm single and the upper oven is great. Two issues kept me from giving a 4-star review. #1 my clock's LEDs are going out! I cannot get the time off my stove any longer. This happened the 2nd year. For the money spent you'd think the clock would have lasted longer! Of course, the warranty expired. #2 The location of the gas fitting on the rear of the stove keeps me from moving my stove flush with the back wall. I'm off about 6 inches, looks terrible. And one more thing, the black finish is a grease spot catcher!! I spend a lot of time keeping that shiny black surface clean.

The minute I saw this range I wanted it. I wanted a double oven range and this is a single oven and a double oven. The top oven works great for small items like one pan of cookies or a small casserole. Then when you need it you have the full space of the whole oven which works out great for holidays and big dinners when you want to cook a whole turkey or a large ham or roast. Being able to cook at two different temperatures is great too because a lot of the time you need a higher temperature for one thing and then have to wait. With this oven you can do both at the same time. The top of the range is also nice. I like the big grates. They are easy to take off and makes cleaning the rest of the top easier. The really big burner is good for cooking a very large amount of anything. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase. Having purchased a refrigerator and microwave at the same time I am happy to report that they match in color perfectly, black stainless, and gives my kitchen a great look.

I've used this appliance almost daily since it was installed a few months ago (we love to cook!) and it has never failed me. Food is cooked at the right temperature and clean up is simple. I love the versatility of one large oven or two small ovens--From the weekly frozen pizza (warm up time was maybe 5 minutes, much faster than previous ovens) to the dinner party, it has handled every situation with ease! The dual-power burner quickly cooks food or warms up a teapot in a hurry. So glad the Best Buy sales rep showed us this one!

I love the flexibility of having a smaller oven since I use it often. An added bonus is the small drips from foods in the half oven are so easy to clean by just pulling out the separator! The burners are fantastic and I love the perfect simmer, it really is perfect for rice and those longer simmer items that need a constant low temperature.

We've had this range about a month and it is our first gas range. The heat is instantaneously on, unlike the smooth top stove we had for 15 years. I am getting use to the rough grates. The flex duo ovens work well. We do detect a slight smell of gas above the eye but I think this is probably normal. We have had no problems and are very pleased.

Gas range is easy to clean and maintain. The Dual oven and potential for one large oven was the big selling point for me, and works great. My only issue is the tiny door on top. Its hard to pull something out without getting too close to the door when it is open. fortunately you can just open the whole door which makes things easier.

This was the last appliance we needed to finish our Samsung kitchen and my second favorite behind the family hub fridge. That being said here is my honest review... The burners are amazing, they all function as advertised and the wok holder is awesome as well as the center griddle plate. The flames adjust quickly and are very impressive in their own right. The stove top is a tad hard to keep clean but anything that gets grease and cooking liquids on it will be a little hard to keep clean. The oven is amazing as well. The top was hard to get used to as the burner is right above the food but we adjusted quickly (by the third use we had it down) and were making all of our oven favorites without any issue at all. To anyone saying the stove top flickers it's probably your btu setup which isn't the ovens fault.

The day we purchased this oven, we were only looking to replace a broken dishwasher. When we saw the display with the shiny Black Stainless Steel, we knew we had to have the "matching set". First, the Black Stainless Steel has an absolutely amazing looking finish. It is easy to clean and doesnt get streaky like the old one did. Second, regarding the double oven/single oven feature, I was initially quite skeptical about having it actually cook at 2 different temperatures. After cooking our Thanksgiving turkey in the bottom oven and using the top to cook various pies and side dishes, I became a believer. I dont know how Samsung did it, but this oven was able to maintain 2 distinct and accurate temperatures through out the day and the convection feature cooked an amazingly juicy bird. The "jet engine" burner (as I like to call it) boils water in what seems a matter of seconds, the simmer burner gets just warm enough to maintain a nice simmer and the center griddle is perfect for bacon and pancakes. I have toyed with the app that can be used to control the oven, but prefer to actually use the manual controls. Overall, this is one fantastic appliance and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to a stranger or a friend. If you are in the market for a new oven, this one will definitely meet and exceed your expectations!

I love the way this stove looks in my kitchen. It matches all the appliances I have. I love using it as well. Easy to keep clean and the double oven is so nice. Have only had the stove about 3 weeks, but I use the top oven for baking more now than with my old stove.

I've only purchased Samsung appliances for my kitchen and even though my last range quit working after 2 years I decided to give them another try. I am so glad I did because I ABSOLUTELY love this range. Dinners are a breeze with the separate ovens.

I enjoy this stove. The burners on top are super quick and boil water or any food super fast. I had an old stove so I have to get used to the quick cooking of a current stove ha! lower your temperature a bit if you are transitioning from an old stove. I like the double oven idea-but I am so disappointed that the top oven is convection only. Nobody told me that when it was sold to me and it is a huge problem. I end up cooking everything in the lower stove. so what's the point of the little stove-i thought it would be handy when there are just two of us home. It is easy to clean and I do enjoy the drawer on the bottom. That is a big bonus because that way the lower oven drawer is up off the ground which I heard is a problem in double ovens without the drawer.

3 weeks in to owning this Oven it is operating great. Cooks very even and fast, make sure that you read about the difference of cooking times with convection oven vs traditional cooking. The smart device feature is nice but lacks the ability to start the oven remotely, it still requires a person to be in front of the oven. The feature to check to see if you left the stove on is nice. The double oven feature is great with the ability to remove the divider and cook a big meal. That is the big feature that sets this apart from other ovens.
