It’s true that this Chromebook is sleek and looks nice but has done nothing but glitch and mess up since I got it. Very poor quality. You do not get what you pay for with this item.

Great quality! Win vs Surface Laptop 4

Purchased for my sister after she was unsatisfied with a similarly spec’d Surface Laptop 4 and she *loves* it! Usual disclaimer about Chrome OS but if you’re not married to Outlook and Teams (why would you be??) you’ve got nothing to lose. Nabbed it on sale at $600, incredible value. At full price it has more competition but construction and quality are as good as advertised.

So I rate this average because of the price. I suppose if this were going to be your ONLY computer you could justify the price, but at that point, there's better options out there for half the cost like the Lenovo Duet. It does have great battery life and bright screen, but the stylus is a waste as there a precious few apps on Chromebook that support it. If you're an android fan-boy, you may also want to check into an android tablet with keyboard.

Can't Sync up Data from my Apple/ Windows Devices

The real issue I had with the Samsung Galaxy 8GB 256GB SSD was that it was mainly unable to sync up with my other devices which are in apple and microsoft format. I have a windows PC and an apple iphone. I am certain that others have this difficulty with the Samsung Chromebook. Although well constructed and a terrific QLED display, it was uneven in its ability to sync with the data on my windows PC and iphone. For example, my GMAIL accounts could not transfer into the chromebook. The message was that account already taken! The contacts on my iphone did not transfer to the chromebook except for 3 of my many contacts, which were old neighbors who I don't even contact anymore. There were numerous other issues and Samsung support was of absolutely no help. One of the worst outcomes with trying to sync up my data between all devices was that it fussed up my Google and Microsoft and Aple accounts to the extent that I needed to create new apple, Microsoft and Google accounts with new Gmail, icloud, and Google browser user names and passwords etc. My advice would be do not buy this device unless you maybe have an Android phone and other devices and are all in on Google. Maybe then, and just maybe, your data will sync up and you won't have to manually transfer all data. I am looking now at the Apple Macbook Air or the Microsoft Surface 4 laptop with windows 10. Any advice would be appreciated.

The screen size is not 13.3" - it is just under 12". The backlit keyboard does not light up at all. In order to see the screen at night you have to turn off the nightlight setting every time you restart your laptop. Set up was fast, but didn't go over the settings and only preloaded chrome, Gmail, Utube, Gplay. Basically you have to figure everything out yourself. Calling tech support was a waste of time. The associate I spoke to didn't know anything about chromebooks and just told me to go into the store.

This device has a horrible wifi antenna. It will continue to drop. Its really not a functional device. Get a apple air or just a basic windows laptop instead.

This is a top of the line Chromebook and aesthetically one of the nicest Chromebook I have seen—-but it is very thin and it appears that just by closing it too harshly it would break or damage the device. It also doesn’t fold all the way when it’s on tablet mode which is kind of annoying. The worst part is the battery life; it is outrageously low. Samsung says battery life last about eight hours, but I would say it last 4-5 tops of video regular use.
