Nothing but issues from the start. Mouse pad stopped working literally like two weeks after I bought it. It has a touch screen so just used that. Like a year later, just stopped working all together. Took it to get fixed, they said it would have to be sent the manufacturer for new parts bc of the issues it had, couldn’t wait weeks for it to come back and just had to get something else.

bought on August 22nd and today is September 14th and it is not working. I tried to turn on this morning and its dead not charging( I checked the charger) charger is fine something wrong with laptop.

Good laptop bought it for my daughter when they had home school works greats! Highly recommend and doesn't break the bank !

Brought it back three times because the touchscreen and backlit keyboard worked erratically among other things. After returning from its the third “repair” trip nothing was any better, and the screen was cracked. I just got disgusted and gave up. I feel as though they (Geek Squad) weren’t very motivated to do anything for me because I didn’t pay for any extended warranty plan. In my visits their attitudes ranged from indifferent ro borderline hostile and really didn’t seem in anyway invested in my satisfaction. I decided to go to Best Buy so that I could deal with a real person in what I thought the “unlikely” possibility that I would have any problems. Live and learn,

Worst laptop I have ever used the screen glitches all the time the stylist hardly works nor does the touch screen for that matter and the screens break way way to easily

The first one had a screen glitch, returned it. Got a second one and it kept freezing. Sent it to Samsung who said they could not replace - it took 2 months to get it solved...

If you get a good one, it works great. 2 out of the 3 I have had so far had defects. They were covered under the manufacturer warranty but it is still a major inconvenience.

After months of debating, I finally splurged on the SGC in Fiesta Red and am so happy I did. The Open Box option on Best Buy eBay saved me $200, and it came in perfect condition. As for my experiences, I thought about giving 4 stars for the (very well known) battery issue, however my 2 year old Acer R13 Chromebook provides about the same battery life now (est. 6-7.5 hours) so I'm kind of used to it TBH. It'll be used exclusively at home, so I'll never be far from a charger; the usage stats fluctuate, but right now I am at 55% and 4 hours to go. Additionally, I have always kept the screen brightness around 50-60% on prior Chromebooks to conserve battery life and prevent eye strain; thus, the negatives have not been a personal deterrent for me as they may be for others, just something to bear in mind. Otherwise, I am blown away by the quality of the hardware, the screen, the keyboard, and what is hands down the best trackpad I've ever used!! What a gorgeous machine, truly worth every penny. It's super responsive and accurate, I am actually clicking on links I intend to, and not clicking on everything adjacent like with other trackpads. It's also INSANELY fast. Seriously, I didn't realize how slow my R13 had been getting... wow!! The only real qualm is that the screen sometimes flops forward/backward, the hinges could be more secure but that was happening with my prior Acer Chromebooks too so nothing new there. And yes, the bottom gets quite hot after extensive use, I will most likely invest in a cooling pad. All in all, if you are on the fence, GO FOR IT!

A year after purchasing this Laptop for my daughter it stopped working, the geek squad member wrote on the report that the screen was cracked but to me it didn’t look like any cracks were there, and I don’t see how that would prevent the cpu from turning on, also it’s been over a month that we turned it in for repair she I haven’t received it back yet.
