Ugh, I wish we hadn't bought this. My mother needed a new phone and we thought this would be a good basic model. Not even worth the $250 we paid :'( We realized too late that it barely had any functions and would randomly shut down or lose the internet mid-call. It now lives in a drawer and she's using the old one with the cracked screen.

The phone at first glance was very inviting. But after some use the phone signal became very poor, the sound quality was awful and the triple camera system was not even half decent. Do not recommend

Phone heats up especially when being charged. Design is not appealing. Heavy weight. It didn't come with a charger plug. Bad sound quality. I had to return to the store.

    Substandard display

I was shocked and disappointed when I first saw the screen on this model. It doesn't have an AMOLED screen like the other Samsung phones I've owned. The display is washed out and greenish in hue, and I find that very disturbing. It doesn't have the depth or range of color as its counterparts. The next day, I bought a Galaxy A53 5G 128GB phone at Best Buy, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Pros: Fast and responsive, 5G internet, slim size, camera, fingerprint on power button Cons: Display, 64GB internal capacity Do yourself a favor and take a look at the screen before buying. I made the mistake of ordering this phone online from my carrier, and I won't be refunded.

    Surprisingly good

Bought it for a backup phone, traded in a Pixel 3A. The Pixel doesn't have 5G. I swap my T-Mobile sim back and forth with my iPhone with no problems. The phone is snappy and I find I like to use 2 or 3 days a week instead of it sitting in a drawer. Reception and screen quality are real good. My only takeaways are the face unlock hasn't worked and the overall phone size. Great as a primary or a backup phone.

Great budget phone! 90hz display, good build quality, nfc for digital payments and ok cameras. Phone feels snappy. Can't go wrong for the price. I'd buy again with zero hesitation.

    DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!

I got this phone to replace an older one that was giving me problems. The a13 was brand new and had just come out. It had all the same problems my old phone had. Right from the start I had a lot of problems. No matter what I spoke with them about, it became obvious I was stuck with my choice of purchase. It did not matter that I was having these problems immediately after purchase. My complaints started within the first 7 days of receiving the phone. I recommend you do not buy this phone. The screen goes black quickly while in use. It is difficult to wake up the screen. When I call requires that I press numbers to interact I have a real problem . The screen goes black and you can't interact . It's like the power button can wake up the screen or it can end a call , but you never know which it will do until you push the button . If I only want it to wake up the screen I'm in trouble because it might in the call and often does when I don't want it to . You have to wake up the screen in order to end a call. The only way to wake up the screen is to push the power button on the side. The power button is difficult to access. When you press the power button the screen comes on sometimes . It doesn't always work . But once you do depress the power button it often ends the call even when you are just waking up the screen to push a button.

Battery life not what it's advertise to be

For the price difference, I am disappointed in this phone and mostly in the battery life. At 5,000mAh I thought I would get a whole day out of battery. With minimal use, it's at 65% by 11 am. My old A11 lasted much longer. I've tried every possible solution to have battery life go further, to no avail. Also, compared with the A11, nothing to boast about with the A13. More expensive, but not justifiably so.

    48 megapixel camera - MISLEADING

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The phone has a misleading 48mp camera stat, and is the reason I bought it. The quality of the pixels are not good. It is more like 8-12 megapixels. Wanted to return but BB has a $45.00 restocking fee. I won't be shopping here again.

The only reason I gave it one star is because I could not get it to work with tmobile. phone has no tmobile network connection. Also it came with the charging cable but no charger. You need to purchase the charger for around $20.00
