Mobile 5G service is only available in certain cities but will be available in more cities soon. If you are in a coverage area, the device may switch to LTE during periods of heavy use to maintain optimal device performance. Whenever 5G coverage is unavailable, your phone will automatically fall back to 4G or 3G speeds. Check if your phone is displaying the 5G indicator on the status bar. If it isn't, your phone is using either 4G or 3G. The 5G indicator's appearance will vary based on the carrier. For the most part, it's OK at best. If you plan to have apps on it and have ANY load on it, it will lag, stop working, and sometimes restart on its own. It is good for phone, and maybe news apps, anything heavier than that and the performance will start degrading drastically.

It lags horribly. You can literally count the seconds between button press and reaction. Switching between apps is painful. Unless you're only working one app, this phone can't be used for gig work. I am returning mine and getting the A25+ instead. The only upside is that it is one of the few phones left that allow you to add an SD card.
