The Worst Phone I've Ever Had
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BUYER BEWARE: DON'T LET THE ALLURING CHEAP PRICE FOOL YOU, It costs this much for a reason!!! TL;DR: This phone is a bad option, save a bit more for something that will be 100x better, or just buy something refurbished instead. A few months back, my old 2022 Motorola Moto G 5G (which i would recommend getting instead of this) quit on me after about 2.5 years with me, and I was devastated. I saw one and picked it up due to the price and because of the fact it had 128 GBs of storage, but I should have thought twice about it, and I should have done my research. This phone is INCREDIBLY SLOW. Sometimes, it will take multiple taps just for the phone to not even open the correct app file, or scroll in the right direction. It gets incredibly bad when once the CPU has been hit with a heavier load. The screen will begin to lag and freeze up, making inputs either not register, or take 5 seconds. This can barely run with no apps in the background, and the phone goes crazy once you have a couple open. It also takes about 10 seconds for a screenshot to happen, and with something like a video, you may have to rewind to screenshot the thing you wanted to screenshot. The battery is also not great, the battery will discharge at an incredibly quick rate when under a bit of load. I can be at nearly 20 percent at 8 PM, which is incredibly bad. This is somehow worse than that 2.5 year old Moto G with a shot battery. That's not to mention that the phone gets very hot once put under load that most phones could take easily. Lastly, this phone misses a few features that my old phone had, namely a headphone jack is gone, the box doesn't come with a charging block, and lacks a screen recording feature (but knowing this phone, if it had one, it would explode anyways.) I regret getting this phone. There where other options, like getting something else for a bit more, or just replacing the damaged components on my old phone for much cheaper. This phone has at least been a learning experience that I should do research and take look at consumer reviews for a phone next time. This phone barely qualified as a smart phone due to it's lackluster qualities. What was Samsung thinking?

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G 128 GB (Unlocked, Blue‑Black) for a month, primarily for calls and WhatsApp, yet it frequently hangs, the touch sometimes fails, and it even heats up occasionally, all despite light usage. Even my finger print unlocking system is not working properly. Its more like my 200 USD is just gone wasted.

Horrible phone.

Can't multi-task. Camera stutters, browsing is laggy. Charging takes hours. Samsung made the absolute bottom barrel of a phone. Its like an Obama phone

Don't buy unless you want to live with Google

Also, BestBuy could not move my info from the other phone. Two different people tried. This phone is huge.....way too big for small hands. Much unnecessary junk on it and again, Google is the actual reason for return.

Buggy phone - I would not suggest you buy it

The 'Accidental Touch' periodically pops up without touching the screen. Samsung phone app is poor. I set Google phone as my default but cannot remove the Samsung phone app. When entering on the texting key pad occasionally the wrong letters appear. I can tap 1 letter and 3 random letters appear. Notifications appear for texts I've read. All above require a restart.

Terrible

I've had smart phones from 10 years back run applications better than this phone. EVERYTHING has a heavy delay and lag. Basic navigation, typing, etc. barely functions. I had to remove a ton of installed applications and swap to google based applications just to make this thing actually work, and even debloated in barely works. For $200 I feel scammed.

Anxiety At Its Best

You find yourself tapping 100 times just to get a response, and other tap interactions are just as bad. This phone should be sold for Much Less than its pricing since its experienxe is so horrid. Please - Stop trying to create cheaper if your going to increase anxiety.
