It doesn't allow video calls from service to service because it's unlocked. She put a case on it but also dropped it and it cracked. So. There's that. Mom said she's not in love with the phone. Screen has a purple patch that keeps spreading

I recently noticed a purple patch on the upper left hand corner, that keeps spreading. My phone has never fallen, so I am confused as to what's going on with my screen. I spoke with a Samsung Rep. via chat that wasn't helpful. Not happy at all with this purchase.
