Phone is relatively slow, I would recommend going to a A50 series Samsung at least. Display quality was fine for a budget phone. Battery life was good and cameras were not great.

I liked the phone at first. However, 2 weeks after receiving it, Samsung did an update. Now, the service randomly disconnects, leaving me with no calling, texting or data until it decides to connect again. I did every troubleshooting that was possible. Samsung sent me to their repair center under warranty. The repair center can not even run diagnostics on it because it is so new that it is not even in their system. Going by what I told them about the issue and the troubleshooting I have done, Samsung's repair center said the phone needs a new motherboard. I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sure that means everything but the shell. They are unable to get the part. They said to contact Samsung since it is under warranty. To get it fixed, I have to send it to Samsung to look at. They said it will take 10 to 12 BUSINESS days just to look at it. That is not including shipping time there and back, they said. I will be without any phone for 2 to 3 WEEKS. I wondered if the problem is a result of their update, but they refuse to check into that first. I have to send my phone in. Maybe I got a bad phone. Maybe it was the update. Maybe we shouldn't buy this model at all. Right now, I don't know. I also had problems with SIM2. I kept getting the error message "connection problem or invalid MMI code." I have never entered an MMI code. You hit ok and the message goes away for a few seconds and pops right back up repeatedly. My service worked fine, but I couldn't get rid of the message. Through the internet, I found out it is common with dual SIM phones. I THINK I fixed that thanks to my own searches on the internet. No thanks to Samsung, as they all said they had no idea what that was. I discovered that Samsung customer service is horrible, giving them many hours of my time. Also, please BE AWARE that this phone is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH US CELLULAR. I did both the online IMEI checker and called the company. Samsung said in answer to many of the questions on this listing that it is compatible. It is not.

Aloha YorkieLover, thank you for finding the opportunity to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy A25. We appreciate your sincerity as we strive to be innovative while improving the design and functionality of our product line. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most enlightening experiences while using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If your Galaxy phone is experiencing low signal, or even no signal at all, you may be unable to connect to the internet, and its ability make or receive phone calls may be limited. If you are unable to make calls from your phone, there could be a problem with your phone's SIM card, damage to your phone, or an issue with your account or carrier. If you are having trouble sending or receiving text messages, or they seem slow, it is usually an issue with the carrier or its service. Other times, iMessage may still be enabled if you just switched from an iPhone, which could make texts get stuck in limbo. Depending on your region and environment, your device may temporarily disconnect from your mobile network or have a slow network connection. This may be due to your subscribed plan, access region, and mobile network settings. When you have some free time available, please take a moment to review, "Samsung phone has poor signal and cannot use data or make calls," "Galaxy phone is unable to make or receive calls," "Messages on Samsung phone are slow, do not send, or cannot be received," and "Issues with mobile network connection on Samsung phone or tablet" to help resolve what you have described to be experiencing with your device. Being that unlocked devices are not tied to any one specific wireless carrier, they can be compatible with multiple wireless carriers. To be more specific, the advertised unlocked Galaxy A25 shows on the BestBuy website as being compatible with AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Google Fi, H2O Wireless, MetroPCS, Mint Mobile, Simple Mobile, T-Mobile, Ting Mobile, Ultra Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon. You are more than welcome to reach out directly to the carrier of your choosing to inquire if an unlocked device may or may not be compatible on that carrier's wireless network, if you choose. If you would like any further assistance or if you have any questions for us, let us know by contacting Samsung Support. Thank you for being a staunch Samsung customer. - Debra

It's difficult to write a negative review on a device that is affordably priced, however, this phone is not reliable. It is not the lowest priced device by Samsung, so I expected some quality from it. The largest issue I have is unreliable network connection. It is terrible with calls, text and data usage. I guess this is an issue with the antenna. When connected to WIFI the performance is acceptable. With it's low-end processor there is noticable delays. The camera works, but sometimes the shutter takes very long and the moment has passed.

This phone has terrible cell signal reception. It doesn't work from inside my car. When it goes into 5G UC (high speed 5G, t-mobile) it drops to NO data in most places.
On Wifi its a fine phone. Beautiful display, reasonably fast. But it doesn't work as a phone.
