My husband got this phone because it was advertised in store as a Dual-Sim phone. When he went into the store, he specifically told them he needed a Dual-Sim phone, that had 5G capabilities. They sold him on this one. It's a single-sim phone. We wasted money getting this, and will have trouble trusting anyone at Best Buy again. Driving truck takes my husband to some places where not all cell phones work, hence the need for two sims. 1 company may have a weak signal, and the other has one a little stronger - comes in handy when you're in a rural area. Guess what? This phone only supports 1 sim card. Waste of money, and the reps at Best Buy flat out lied to us.

We were told by the salesperson that this phone was compatible with Consumer Cellular. It was on the website (Best Buy) as being able to be used on any carrier (unlocked). After calling and talking to Consumer Cellular this phone was not so we had to return it.

After much research I had settled on this phone for the coming 3G deprecation. I found that this version of the phone cannot have it's bootloader permanently unlocked. While your carrier can give you a token to unlock it the currently (version 5) bootloader will bypass the authorization on update or reboot. Not only this but the OEM Unlock option does not appear in the phone OS anywhere. While this phone may be great for the average user, if you are an advanced user or developer don't bother with this phone. Samsung will steer you to THEIR dev resources, services, and remote testing.

My phone has a distorted audio sound, Like listening to the radio with a weak signal or when your radio isn't tuned to the station ALL Distorted at any more than half volume. Unable to determine is this model can even be repair at Best BUY, Probably have to send to Samsung 2-3 weeks for repair. Basically useless for watching videos Only one Best Buy store in western Pa even does Samsung repair I got the real SAMSUNG experience with this one.

My phone just got blank on d screen, trying to fix it with my 2yrs protection plan. Bought it in lanham, told me to take it to owings mill. 53mins drive from me, too far. Pls help

The second simcard doesn’t work! It is locked and not functioning.

I bought this phone several years ago and it has been great for me. I don't do gaming etc. I'm upgrading to a Samsung 25 for more memory and RAM. However, I would recommend this for someone who just needs a phone and take some pictures. I probably have fewer apps than most on there, but need more now.

This was my first phone in the US. Used it for more than 2 years. it was great.

Horrible piece of garbage. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!! I bought based on reviews and was hoping the pictures would be high quality. The pictures are not great. I havent bought an iphone in a long time but my friends who have iphones, hands down have amazing pictures in comparison. Issues from day one - not being able to recieve certain photos or videos in text. Changed settings, nothing helped. Voicemail does not allow transcription so it reverted back to having a password (which wasnt used for years since 2 phones ago, so had to contact carrier about that). Seems like a basic thing from last phone that was worth it. I had to research settings and change settings, download apps and spent probably 48 full hours on how to fix problems that were going on and still having issues with different texting things. Will not buy another samsung.
