Bought this phone to replace an older phone i had works great quality is great and so many features.

The positive: Nice and large screen. Great display and ample brightness BUT could use an extra 20-300 nits. Decent camera if the lighting is right. Nice color of the device (Awesome Lime). The Negative: Way too slippery and a case makes this phone even bulkier and harder to hold with one hand. The fingerprint reader is as bad as the one on the A35. You must sometimes press it 3-4 times or hold your finger in place for several seconds. The A25 had a better side fingerprint reader than this under screen one. The Snapdragon 6 gen 3 is not so snappy. Call quality is mediocre. The battery just barely makes it through the day with medium usage.

Phone performs and does everything I need. It is best geared for people who do basic calling and texting on their phone. Camera quality is good, just what I need. It is a great mid-tier phone. The battery also lasts all day. There is not much to improve on this model. It even comes in great color options.

Very easy set up. Runs fast. Light and sleek. Plenty of memory.

I think I like the larger screen. Its just some more memory could make it better. Its battery tend to get charged really fast, which is something I really appreciate.

It's a low-capacity cell phone, however it works well

I went into Best Buy to purchase my new Samsung Galaxy A16A 5G phone. I had just recently purchased the exact same phone in July 2025 through Cricket Wireless & I paid cash for my phone. When i went to switch from Cricket to AT&T Wireless for my phone service, Cricket refused to unlock my phone i had purchased 4 months prior to switching companies. AT&T is the lead Sister company over Cricket wireless. Cricket refused to unlock my phone supposedly because as per their policy I owned my phone for less than 6 months. It didn't matter that i purchased my phone with cash they simply refused because they lost another customer. These past few years I was becoming very unsatisfied with Cricket Wireless and after talking to the ladies at AT&T Wireless I was able to enroll into a wireless plan called 55+ Just by my enrolling into their 55+ program I save $30 per month from what I was paying Cricket. I had been a customer of Cricket for several years and couldn't believe how rude they were every time i visited their store. Lazy not wanting to help me when i came in, etc. Definitely NOT the case with Best Buy. I was warmly greeted, shown their phone selection, and served within a timely manner. Plus when I purchased my new phone same exact model like Cricket, I saved over $200 purchasing it through Best Buy and also a screen protector added in the cost of the purchase price. I'M VERY SATISFIED WITH BEST BUY!!!

I recently bought a pair of new Samsung Galaxy A36 phones to replace an A16 and A32 which were several years old but still plugging along. My, what a difference! I'm very pleased with my purchase. The OS and processing speed on the A36 is lightning quick. I'm able to run everything I need and want with ease so far. Transferring data over was fairly simple, and I'm pleased with the extended storage space despite not having a mount for an additional SD card. This was a great buy for the price and product quality.

The mobile phone has excellent features and camera is also good.

So far no issues. I have the same amount of apps as my old phone, but without the lag nor the crashes. Only thing is the battery dye.Sometimes quickly, but as long as you don't have all of your apps open, it lasts longer.

Amazing phone! Reliable and snappy. Beautiful screen and works great with google fi esim.
