Had this phone for about a month. Still getting used to it since it was a significant upgrade from my previous Samsung galaxy, and some features are different. The camera is much better. I also switched carriers so the "unlocked" feature was a must for me.

I am very very happy with my new Samsung Galaxy A42 5g. It's really a nice phone, but was disappointed because the day after i seen it was on sale at another store for $100 less.

I don't like iPhones. My nephew is a diehard Apple fan. He used my Galaxy S10. Now he wants an android. I bought this so he can try it out. He LOVES IT. He will use it for a few months to make sure it's what he wants before he purchase the Galaxy S21 or the FOLD. Paired easily with his RAV4

My brother in law loves this phone so much, he ended up accidentally breaking the original one and bought it again, just because he liked the phone so much. He said it's a perfect starter phone and very affordable when browsing around for cheap phones.

Got this phone for my dad who's always had lower end phones, he loves the camera quality. Buttons seem a little tough to handle in the Otterbox case. Overall he really likes the phone

I love my Samsung A42 cell phone. Only problem is that before I could get a cover on it I dropped it good and the glass is broke. My complaint with Best Buy is that they do not replace glass on androids. Why is Apple so special? Not fair!!!

I loved my samsung but it got outdated... just upgraded to this one and everything works smooth. digital and face recognition locks. clear picture and wonderful photo quality, even if there are better cameras in the market, this one does its job.

The old Samsung phone was successfully transferred to the new Samsung phone and throughout this process, service was excellent and now my new phone works wonders compared to my old model. This new phone and my upgraded AT&T account now allows easy internet access and so far no problems connecting to many apps and so all the best for the excellent service and phone is great.

Nice looking phone but a bit heavy. Has all the essential perks and this was only model in stock within a certain price range for unlocked phone. The person I gave this too really enjoys the picture quality. A nice upgrade

This phone has too much stuff on it that i do not care about or want. It has a good screen. It is not has hard to figure out how to us it as I thought it would be.

Haven't had it long, no glitches, nothing negative to report. I respect Samsung phones because they just work, and this one appears to be continuing that tradition. Great mid-priced phone, gets the job done.

Very pleased. Samsung smart switch made it painless to move all contacts, texts, pics, settings, and everything else I can think of. Even set it up with my custom ring tones and wallpaper. Very nice camera.

The a42 Samsung is a very good phone I have had it now for two months and I have not had a problem with it I enjoy all the features it comes with it and it has lots of storage capacity

Very good phone, the quality in taking photos is better than in other cell phones that are not Samsung... many things are better quality when it is Samsung, I recommend it

Sooo happy to be back w Samsung!! I went cheap for a while and missed this brand so much!! The A series is great; no need to spend 3X more to have the latest cell. This one does more than enough, imho.

Was a nice phone. The camera was pretty good and for the price, the phone held up really well.

really nice screen and it refuses to die. Its battery runs off of my hatred for apple phones which is why it won't die. Samsung crew strikes again

Very easy transaction. It was already unlocked and once i put the sim card from my previous phone it was good to go. Love avoiding all the fees and taxes from my phone service provider.

It's a perfect phone for me having the necessary 5G upgrade. I am an Android person and am so glad to find what I need with the help to set it up at Best Buy

I would suggest that every one get the 3x screen protector. Had the case but had not put it on yet. I had this phone less than two hours and dropped it. The screen shattered. Good thing I have the Best Buy product protection plan. They replaced it withen two days. My cost was $30.00 It is much less than buying another one.
