was looking at replacing my old Samsung S7 ... This phone was a great price for performance deal. Added a 128GB SD card. bang. good to go. no need to spend $1000s on a phone, this one is great.

I've had this product for less than 6 months and it's not been a pleasant union. I'm not typically so critical on mid-range smart phones, but the way this product translates in real life doesn't even begin to match up with what it says on paper. Let's start with the things I do like. - Amoled display - 64 GB of internal memory + expandable memory up to 500 GB - 4 GB of RAM - NFC - USB-C Fast Charging. - User experience (like it or not, Samsung has done a great job fine tuning it's software to make your user experience more enjoyable) - Headphone jack (sorry, such a mom joke but I couldn't resist) Now let's talk about the things I don't like. - The on-screen fingerprint sensor is awful. It is such a hassle to setup and only works 85-90% of the time. - No stereo sound. When it's all said and done I paid close to $400 for this phone. I just bought a Motorola for $219 that has better sound. - The camera is awful. I mean just terrible. - Samsung is king of the bloatware. You can only disable certain apps but not remove them. - The North American version of this phone is NOT rootable. I repeat it is NOT rootable. Some of the international version are. - Exynos processor and not Qualcomm. You can really tell. This phone slows down the more you use it. - Battery life is awful. It slightly improved with an upgrade to Android 10 but not buy much. Verdict: I would not recommend this phone. If you absolutely MUST have a Samsung phone and you want to go below $600 then then I'd suggest upgrading to the A71 model.

The A50 it's an amazing budget phone. All the features I want from a Galaxy in a small package. I think it's one of the best phones of 2019.

A universal unlocked phone is what is needed today. With companies constantly competing with each other its not necessary to keep purchasing phones. With this one you just have to change the Sim card

Needed a new phone so after some research, I purchased this one. Not fancy but has enough storage and is android. Battery charges fast and seems to last long. So far so good.

The camera works great on this phone. It is easy to navigate through the menu without getting frustrated. The Samsung Health extras are a bonus feature that help to make this phone my favorite to date.

For the price point and features, you can’t beat it. I’ve now had this phone over 2 years and it’s still working perfectly with lots of daily use.

My daughter was complaining about needing a new phone. In her defense, hers was getting quite old (for a phone anyways). I bought this one and she is quite happy with the features and battery life.

Great cell phone, with top notch features. Took it out of the country as a gift and works incredibly. 100% recommended from Best Buy, they have them ready to be used abroad for any carrier.

I love Samsung so love my A50. It's reasonably priced for someone who does do much on their phone, BUT it works great for Youtube, games, and facebook (smile). In other words, it gets the job done.

Bought this for my mum and dad. They are so happy with the phone, they are on it practically all the time! Easy to use and clear connection on TMobile network, can't go wrong with this phone

This is a wonderful Samsung telephone. I've had no problems whatsoever because it is very easy to use. Got a great price, great value and an excellent monthly package at Best Buy.

To me this phone is the same great quality one expects from Samsung. The features, to me, are just as good as the top of the line models. Being "unblocked" was new to me but it worked out.

I like this phone more than the Google 3a XL. Smaller. More storage. And can add SD card. And don't have to spend $1000 for top end phone. For most people, this phone is sufficient.

This phone has many desirable qualities- a bright sharp display, good call quality, decent loudspeaker, above average to semi-great camera. Not to mention the price tag.

It does the same job that other expensive cellphones do. The Galaxy A models do a fantastic job all around. Save the money and get these models. The A71 looks awesome by the way.

Geat phone, I brought this phone for my daughter. She plays roblox and the phone has lots of storage as well for her other apps.

Truly happy with Samsung A50. Has plenty of storage plus takes a micro to hold photos, music & more!
