Highly recommended!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sure you can buy the A50 on Amazon at lower price but I bought from Best Buy instead. I don't mind paying more, as long as it's on Best Buy's shelfs. Go to the store to compare the phones. Specs isn't everything. Samsung's 720p screen looks better than Motorola's 1080p. The Galaxy A50 has a fantastic camera, unbelievable screen and the price is a bargain for what you get.

Great buy!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this on black Friday for just $224.95 so a great purchase. Almost the same features and quality as the much more pricey galaxy and note Samsung phones. Great and clear pictures and camera and a good amount of storage. Get a nice screen protector and case and it's a great buy at the price.

So far it's good
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery is good. It lasts all day long. Can play with apps all day long and my battery still lasts til bedtime with no extra charge. It's fast. It does NOT have a notification led light on on screen. I hate that about it. It doesn't make any sense why they wouldn't have that. Also none of my apps show notifications on screen, even though I have it turned on. Also on my phone.. the bar on the bottom (back space and close button) light up when it is charging sometimes. (My husband has the same phone and it doesn't) Haven't taken a lot of pictures yet but the quality seems good so far. I had a galaxy 6 for 4 years. This phone seems worth the $250 we paid. And the lock screen button is on the right side under the sound buttons. I don't like that either. Prefer it to be on the top right side and volume on left side of phone. They are too close together and it is awkward to hit the lock button correctly.

Great Deal for Most
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read a few articles about this phone before buying it and would highly recommend. My husband and family all use this device. I'm not a big fan on payment plans, lease agreements and contracts, so an unlocked phone was necessary. However, buying one of the flagship devices was too expensive. Great value for what it is. The only feature we miss really is the wireless charging, but the value more than makes up for that.

So far I'm loving it.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got the phone activated two days ago. I've never had a good smart phone so I'm still learning but it has been pretty easy so far. Beautiful screen and colors. Seems to go quickly from one task to the next without much lag. I love the screen size after going from an under 5" iPhone SE5. The iPhone died so I couldn't transfer my data which was disappointing but whatever. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $700.00 for a new iPhone 11. At the sale price of $225.00 this Samsung is going to be perfect for my use. And if I break it I can afford a $225.00 loss. But $700.00 would hurt. I think this Samsung A50 is easier to use than the Apple system. But I'm used to doing things on the Chrome system too. I almost got the Pixel 3a but it wasn't on sale so I went for this great deal from Best Buy.

Great for the Price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone does everything I need at a drastically cheaper price than the S line models. I am normally all about the S line phones but i wait for the discounts of the previous years models. I missed the verizon week when the S10 would have been 16/mo. I was still running on a 4 year old S6 so this phone is still an upgrade and only cost $200. The only thing i have noticed so far in the couple weeks i have had the phone is when you restart there is a delay when the phone is first open to load the apps and widgets. It is not an issue for me has the processor does not have any other noticeable performance issue that i notice it runs slower than the snapdragons in the latest models

Good price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've learned to not want to deal with iPhones anymore and was looking for a reliable phone that did not cost as much as a home mortgage payment. This phone was the one I picked. After a brief learning adjustment (swipe to answer phone call and don't punch) I am much more at ease. I don't have to make appointments a week out to have a tech at a store tell me my phone (iPhone 6) is too old and I should buy a newer phone (mortgage payment) and I no longer have to search the internet to try to learn why my iPhone no longer receives nor transmits calls inside my own house. So, I have a simpler phone, a less expensive phone and I saved enough money to buy my wife a really great anniversary present.

Scary Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think my blood pressure went down after returning the lame Vivo XI. Like I mentioned before, the XI is more expensive than the XI+ with less than half the features! I looked on the Best Buy site for something that wouldn’t give me buyers remorse and I also had to do my homework and revisit my past with other phone from other manufacturers, because companies are a lot like people, they have a hard time changing. My Motorola had a weak battery, Apple is....well....Apple, and BLU is so hit and miss it’s a travesty. Samsung was always “everything with the kitchen sink” more is better in my opinion. This A50 is so cold(slang for awesome for you Europeans) that I’ve got that feeling again when I purchased my Galaxy S4, thinking the exact same thing...”This is the last phone I’ll ever need.” This phone just moves through it’s paces with a quiet fo real deal power that lets you know that this light phone can handle anything you can throw at it. It feels solid when touching the screen, but it has a hollow feeling if you’re tapping on the back, and of course you would because of that Aurora Borealis thing going on back there. It’s killer to have 64gb out the gate too, kinda disappointed I can only add 512gb more. Face unlock is working for me in the dark, fingerprint is a study in muscle memory but that too is a smash. The screen is what you find on $1000+ phones, though the numbers or of hype doesn’t say, we all know human eyes can only see so much. I prefer this to the Google Pixel 3 because there are still bells and whistles here, and I like those, having a stripped down Google experience is not for me, I want my tech to entertain and sometimes distract me. I personally enjoy going down the rabbit hole Sammy always affords us with it’s “features”. The sound is not the best but that can be worked around with headphones, oh by the way, there is a headphone jack! Though not water resistant which is a bit of a bummer, but one of the biggest bummers is that Best Buy didn’t have a screen protector or a case for this phone, I’m so tired of that scenario.

Good phone at a good value.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this phone about a year ago, and it has worked flawlessly since. It is less expensive than the really high priced models, but it offers a lot of the same features. The camera is very versatile with several modes and three lenses. The pictures are very good. I am a photo hobbyist and have processed some of them in Photoshop with good results. The onscreen display is beautiful. The battery is interchangeable and easily lasts me all day, if not longer. I am very happy with it.

a50 is a great mid tier phone
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone feels nice. The in screen fingerprint reader doesn't work that great, I have read lots of mixed reviews on it, I am on the current update and the fingerprint reader rarely feels like it works as smoothly as my previous moto. The battery has been great compared to my last phone. I will update my review if it goes downhill fast. I don't like the Samsung One UI, but I don't think that is the phones fault, I just prefer a more stock experience. I purchased 2 for use on Verizon. My line had issues and I couldn't place or receive phone calls. I tried a new sim card and that didn't work either, after multiple support calls they figured out my line was missing "HD Calling" and "Advanced Calling" on my account. Once they added that, it worked with no issue. The other line worked right away.

Nice phone.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a Galaxy S-7 edge. The Galaxy A-50 feels like the same size in my hand. Screen colors and separate tabs swipe the same. A-50 has a better camera. The price of the A-50 provides you with many of the high end features for 1/2 the cost. Good phone. You need to get a protective shock proof case and screen protector but no need to break the bank, ( I got one by POETIC ). Dropped this phone 3 times ...no problems.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My mom was looking for a very good Samsung phone with great picture quality and camera, and she did the right choice by buying this.. The picture quality is as good as S10 and Note, camera is good, feel and ease to use are very good. It’s a bit slow when doing multiple tasks, but mom only uses it for calling, facebook, and taking pictures.. Very satisfied with it..

Why pay over 1k for a phone?
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cracked and slow samsung s7. Wanted the latest and greatest but since we don't have deals anymore for being a loyal customer picked this up instead for 200. I will tell you it is lightening fast compared to the s7. Sure it's not an s20 but still better than what I had! So I am satisfied.
