I've been using the A50 for almost 2 years now and so far this phone has far exceeded my expectations. My main expectation was to have a device with good battery life and multitasking ability, and for the first 10 months, it worked like a charm. I would regularly get a full-day battery even for regular 4-5 hours of playing music and videos. Even the multitasking was good, with being able to do video calls while video playback instructions. The camera was okay, there are better phones available if one is in photography, the wide-angle camera was a big help, which manages to take quite decent large-area pictures in well-lit situations, which is what I needed. After a year and a half, the battery is surprisingly running well, though the multitasking has degraded a bit, with the phone not being able to manage multiple apps at once, which is kind of expected to happen overtime, at least I don't have to worry about the juice running out in the middle of the day. Overall for a budget-friendly user, this phone manages to pack a complete banger.

This is a pretty good phone. I got it for $100 off, so I'm not sure I would pay full price for it. The screen is nice, and the camera is actually quite good. I don't game or use my phone for resource intensive tasks anymore, but I did run Geekbench 5 on it and... well, let's just say you get what you pay for. The processor and graphics processor in this phone are weak, very weak. If you are looking for a powerful phone with lots of memory, look at some of the slightly higher-priced phones, as this will not meet your demands. The things I like are the phones screen, camera, and size. Storage isn't an issue as you can add a micro-SD card to store all your stuff. I read that people are having issues in activating this on Verizon. I'm not sure what the issue is, but I got the unlocked version, popped my SIM card in, and have had no issues with Verizon working on it. My main gripe is the fingerprint reader doesn't function too well, well, mostly not at all. But there are other methods to authenticate, so not a deal breaker. I guess, in summation, if you're looking for a phone with a decent screen, good camera, and generally good build quality, this might be up your alley.

Phone works excellently, has great cameras has facial recognition has thumbprint scan and also has pattern unlocked just the normal functions as a phone this phone is probably one of the best ones that I've owned so it's really great to have one if you really would like to buy one please do it was a very decent price and it works extremely well.

My mother needed a new phone but didn't wanted anything fancy or expensive since all she needs it for is taking pictures, making calls, and surfing the internet. Ended up breaking my phone and needed a new one. This one is better than the one I had. Only thing that could be improved is the fingerprint sensor. Other than that the camera is phenomenal!!!!!! Battery life is fantastic. I can go over a day without charging. Mobile wallet makes it seamless to pay. Charging is quick.

I had purchased the unlocked, open box - excellent condition Samsung Galaxy A50. And I am extremely happy with my purchase. First, I recieved the phone two days after I purchased it. Of course, the box has been opened. And the film was removed from the phone. Other than that, everything is like brand new. There's no scratches or scuffs on the phone, and everything works as it should. The front camera, and all rear cameras are excellent. The screen is responsive, and looks beautiful compared to other regular LCD screen phones. The speaker is nice and loud, the sound is clear. The charger was still wrapped in plastic. I also recieved the owner's manual with it. I was a little nervous at first, with this being my first open box purchase ever. But overall I'm happy with everything, and I saved some money! I highly recommend this phone for anyone.

This is a great phone! I am still shocked at the price point and the quality of this phone. It feels like a flagship phone. You do give up some features like wireless charging but for the price, I can live without that! Display is incredible and I have experienced no lag in performance. Fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth, mobile hotspot, gps have all worked flawlessly for me. Using on Verizon service.

This phone is underrated, I own a pixel 3 and I had purchased this for my wife, I had my doubts on the performance because of Samsung reputation for bloatware, but I was surprised how seamless it performed, the screen is vivid, storage is decent and the screen size is super plus, very happy.

Purchased this for my son, and I'm very impressed with the Samsung A50. For a $300 smartphone, it sure operates like a $700 phone. He's a gamer and streams alot of video, and the battery life is great! If you're looking for a phone without breaking your bank, this is it.

Bought this Phone a couple of months ago and I love it. Great reception, very clear graphics and very easy to use. The battery last a long time also between charges. My Son bought one also and is very happy with it and my husband is thinking of getting himself one since His phone is acting up.

Bought this for my father in law, he used own an iPhone. He's not tech savvy, far from it, but kept praising how easy it is to use, much easier than any phones he's ever owned. And keeps telling me how much he loves the camera and the size of the screen and quality of the screen

Bestbuy unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy A50 using on totalwireless tracfone service and works very very well. Awesome OLED display 4GB ram and 64GB storage. Has very good cameras. If you need a budget upgrade this will do the job very well and its ANDROID of course.

I purchase this phone for my wife last year. It is easy to use and very dependable. The price is reasonable as far as price goes. I Would recommend this phone for people that do a lot of Facebooking, and general web surfing.

Not to tech savy but think this phone is easy to use. I've had the phone about a month. I've figured more stuff out on this phone than past phones I've had for years. The size is perfect for smaller hands. Pictures are really nice on this phone and is quite thin compared to past phones.

Overall great phone. We bought it for our child as a replacement for an old galaxy phone and she loves it. Better performance than my S9, if it were waterproof it would be just about perfect, but for the price I can't complain at all.

I had a $600 phone before this one which was great but, the screen eventually cracked from being dropped. This phone is just as good, a little bigger screen and a few extra features for about half the price! I was pleasantly surprised!

Replacement for a Samsung J3 phone. Good phone overall and it really doesn't have all the bells and whistle but works quite well for what my wife uses it for. Easy to use and has been reliable thus far. Worth the price compared to the higher end models.

Used for several months now and this phone has worked great for me all this time. Camera quality is very nice and screen is bright and vibrant. Does not support wireless charging but does include an NFC chip for you to use Google Pay.

I went in looking for an upgrade from my Samsung S7. I really didn't want to spend a whole lot of money either. This seemed to fit the bill. Seems a little slow here or there but definitely runs very similar to my Samsung S7. Very glad I made the purchase

Build quality is very good, boots up fast, touch screen is very smooth. Apps open fast and screen is very clear. Impressed with the camera, took some regular photos and live focus and they turned out very nice. Finger print recognition is in screen and work as it should. The A50 is right up there with the flagship cell phones. It looks good and feels good holding it. Very happy with my purchase. Also, mega fast shipping from Best Buy.
