I haven't used a lot of the options yet so don't have a lot to say about it. I had samsung phones several years ago and tried a few other brands and I sure missed the samsung cameras but I can't afford the S8 or S10 and saw this one in the price range I can afford and thought I would try it. So far I am liking it. The camera is a lot better than the LG phone I was using. The only thing I have noticed that I miss is there isn't a blinking light on this phone to let you know that you have a voicemail or text so I often miss my messages as I don't live my life attached to my phone 24/7 lol. It's easy to use.

I bought this for $275. Is better in most areas than the S8 Active I replaced. Lacks a few features, but has a much better camera and not terribly bad sound for $800 less than flagship Samsung, worthy of consideration.

Pros: deep blacks with amoled wide screen galaxy features like night mode always on display good battery life wifi calling on tmobile thin and light weight smooth operation Fingerprint sensor actually works well for me after the Nov1 update Clear calls Price Cons: No Volte on unlocked US version Speaker is bad but not horrible, but not a big deal to me Plastic back shows smudges from hands May be limited to Pie but hoping they push Android 10 to this device in the upcoming year Very happy with this phone for the price. Samsung UI is so much better than stock Android. Night mode is awesome.

This phone is literally one of the greatest backup phones I've ever had. Even for this phone being an android, the pictures are great and the battery last soooo long. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

Why spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on just a telephone? This Samsung Galaxy 850 has worked 95% of the time in most areas that I have traveled to. It's an excellent phone and performs just as well as a $1,000 phone

My hubby purchased two of these phones to replace our old phones. Definitely a good buy instead of buying those super expensive phones. It's fast and the quality of the pictures/images...amazing. It's pretty fast too!

If you're in the market for a new phone and like the Samsung Galaxy series, do not overlook this phone. While most everyone automatically thinks of the Galaxy S10, the A50 is an excellent mid-tier choice. It's larger, has more battery life, and has triple cameras on the back. While it doesn't have the processor and memory that the S10 series does, it is comparable to the Galaxy S8 from a couple years ago - again, with a larger screen and more battery life. We got two of these for about $300 each to replace a couple of S3s, and have no regrets about not going to the S10. Worth a look if you need a new phone but have to budget.

This is a great mid-range phone with a beautiful screen, sufficient power and good cameras. It does have one big flaw though, the fingerprint scanner. It hardly ever works. I have to keep deleting my fingerprint and re-adding it, but it'll only work for a little bit before forgetting it again. I've installed all the latest updates to no avail. Reviews here and elsewhere seem to show this is an ongoing issue. While not a deal breaker, it is a blemish on an otherwise great phone.

Sufficient space for all apps, great cameras an not much lag.time at all! Amazing quality for the price. The only real drawback is lack of wireless charging but at this price point it's expected. Well worth the money!

For a budget phone, this thing is awesome. I'm not a phone gamer so speed isn't a huge issue. Pretty good quality camera, excellent reception and plenty of storage, especially with the expandability.

as with any new tech there was some getting used to; like the battery life able to get thru the day easily. micro sd has given great storage. over all I really like the phone

I love my A50! I got this as a replacement for my old Galaxy S4 (don't judge). I am preferential to Samsung products but did not want to pay an arm and a leg for a new phone. I read all of the professional reviews which were positive and decided to give it a try. I kept my eye on the price and when it went on sale I leapt at the chance. I must admit, I don't use the fingerprint or facial recognition because the reviews were not good. I also had to download my favorite ringtones and notifications. The last thing was that my old sim card did not fit because of the S4 being an older model, but I've found ways around it. I am still exploring all of the features of the phone, but I am really pleased with it.

I like the screen display it's big. The camera is good and the battery last for all day.Phone is great with good features. Best buy delivered it fast and service is good very professional staff.

I had a Galaxy s9 that cost more but crashed so I replaced it with this cheaper phone. This one is great value and great camera quality. I prefer it over the more expensive one I had.

It's a cheap phone that could have been considered a flagship 2 years ago. No wireless charging and the speakerphone is terrible. But for the price.

Samsung like every other budget will come with tweak moments that we could learn to fix or return. The A50 had it moment that it would have troubleshooting error and slow response here and there, however software updates are the reason to take advantage of to fix these issues and to me after all was updated it made a difference with the phone performance being reliable to function better and improve. Overall it great to consider having and best to believe the camera are a highlight on phototaking with the micro lens included you get results like it expected from the phone itself.

Finally got rid of my Droid Razr. This phone is a bit large for me but so easy to see. Battery life is great. Charge every 4 days with normal use. For the money it work perfect.

I bought this to use as a business phone, so was looking for just basic smartphone functionality. I got far more than I anticipated. Dollar for dollar it's been a GREAT value for the 2 years I've owned it. Battery life has been phenomenal and this model does not carry a lot of the bloatware that the flagship Samsung model always does. If you're looking for a good phone that's a fraction of the flagship model price, but with most of the bells and whistles, this is your target.

Easy to set up. Works as advertised. Simple to use. Links to cloud to print with ease, problem free (cant even get the new computer to do that). Speaker is just loud enough, clear and easy to understand callers words. Overall very happy with the purchase and great price. Bought the unlocked one and it took my Cricket Sim card right away and had no problems at all setting it up. A great buy.

I bought this phone for my son and it has been great for him. The battery is incredible, even for a 14 year old that lives on it. It was incredibly easy to set up and use every day.
