The phone is working well for me. I haven't really encountered any flaws, and it holds a decent charge.

Face recognition was sporadic. Color of photos - particularly reds looked more orange

I had my last Samsung device for 6 years and only got a new phone because the old one was getting slow. Purchased the A53 because I figured Samsung Galaxies were durable phones. Wrong. Dropped this a couple feet onto pavement and the screen shattered and is now unworkable.

This is another great phone by Samsung. Easy to use and handle. Great phone for anyone.

It has been a while since a new phone purchase. My last phone was a new Samsung Note 8. I bought it for the use of the S pen and wound up never using it. This phone is perfect for my usage needs. I'm active on social media, like taking pictures, and love watching videos. The screen is crystal clear. Both, the rear camera and front facing camera are impressive. Better night time photos than phones I've had in the past, for sure. Two speakers are nice for watching videos and listening to music. I'm using hey Google much more now. The phone is fast and responsive. The split screens and text zoom are great. The battery is a monster! The only thing that doesn't work as well as I would like is the face recognition - but that's certainly not a show stopper for me. Love this phone!

Bought this for my dad to replace his old LG flip phone (3G). Still teaching him how to use it. It sometimes lags when going from one app to another, but as a mid priced smart phone it gets the job done.

It's okay. The big problem was getting phone #1 to sync with my car properly. It wouldn't. But Best Buy was open to exchanging it for phone #2. Otherwise, it has worked as expected. Phone notifications are a bit of an issue and are a bit of a chore to reset. I haven't used all the functions as I am not a big time downloader of games or videos. But the phone and Internet work just fine.

Nice phone but screen is smaller than I like and the processing power is not as robust as I was used to.

It was what I expected. Haven't found anything wrong with it. Works fine as a mid grade phone.

Not impressed with camera on it. Had to restart just to use it

Excellent phone for the money. I was able to take advantage of Verizon discount and Best Buy discount
