Even after adjusting the touch screen sensitivity you still needed a hammer to get the screen to react. Terrible phone but then again, you get what you pay for.

We returned this phone one week after purchase. The phone was fine, except it would not receive text messages from ANY iPhone, not just the ones on the account. None of the techs could figure out a solution so after hours in the store and on the phone, we returned.

Slower than my previous S8. Tapping on an icon sometimes goes to some random app rather than the one tapped on.

Very hard to type a message. Battery life is shorter than previous.

I won't mince words. I hate the Samsung A53. Photos are unbelieveable difficult and every picture shows blurry movement. The device is unbalanced in the hand with the 5 camera lenses bulging from the back. Sound is cheap and tinny. Size is designed for very large hands. The camera is difficult, poor quality, and useless. I loved my previous Samsung 5S for 6 years. I was told to replace it because it no longer received updates. I was sent to BestBuy for another Samsung. The bottom 1/3rd of the touch screen is unresponsive to touch and won't allow me to answer an incoming call. I have to return all incoming calls myself. There are so many defects with this device, beginning with turning it on. There is no way to turn on the phone screen except to use the very hard to push impossibly thin button on the right side which will break due to constant need to use the button rather than a screen swipe to turn on method. I hate this phone and do not recommend it.

Can't play games as GAME Booster is so annoying. Can't rip out. Shut off or disable...

Purchased at $24.99 + $35 activation fee Currently using as a secondary device for for file transfers, casting shows on the TV, etc. (Primary device is iPhone) Has 6GB of ram which is crucial and helps with using multiple apps as well as gaming. Ive purchasd 2 other androids in the past year with only 4GB of ram and I personally believe 6GB should be the minimum on smartphones. The camera recieves 3 out of 5 stars compared to higher end androids or iphones. Overall, for the price I paid ($60) for this phone is a amazing. Ive purchased 2 other androids for under $50 (Samsung A14 & OnePlus N200) and this device surpasses both those devices in overall performance & camera quality. This is a great midrange device, would recommend for the price ive paid as this device would generally retail $200-$250
