Speakers are laughably quiet/defective?

The screen is dull and not very crisp but its the speakers that truly disappointed. They are so quiet it is barely audible. Wondering if this computer is defective because of how insanely low the speakers are. AND THE SPEAKERS FACE DOWN! It seems like a design flaw that was overlooked. I got this to browse the web and watch YouTube and stream shows. I cant do that with this computer without having to purchase a separate speaker.

Never purchase an HP from here again

The screen resolution is absolutely horrible…. painful to watch videos on. After 2 months, the cord malfunctioned then broke. It started sparking due to an internal electrical problem when I plugged in the cord, then, the bottom of the keyboard detached (I never moved nor used this laptop anywhere except from my bed so any damage was not caused by myself). When I went and asked about my manufacturer warranty (I was told I had up to a yr), since it broke 6 mths after purchase, they told me they wouldn’t cover it due to external damage and I would have to pay for everything. I paid >$50 for a replacement cord, now useless; after 6 months, I lost over $500.
