It's alright for the price....

Also, when laying hands on the home keys to type, the butt of my hand rests on the track pad, and that just causes chaos. Monitor is good. Connections are good... only disappointment is the keyboard/trackpad

Solder in power port broke

I had the laptop for a little more than a year. IT IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A REPAIR SHOP TO FIX THIS. All else being equal. I would not recommend due to this alone.

Charging port failure

Only option is to ship it out for a costly repair. Geek Squad was no help, actually wasted multiple hours of my time.

Does the basics

I use it for work (fully remote). Speed and performance are average. It's decent for typing (I'm a writer). The biggest downsides are the screen display and the webcam, both of which are pretty lousy (once again, I work fully remote... you can imagine the video calls).
