Check it out for yourself.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an incredibly good value for $1300 on sale currently. The only downside I can see to this is 12gb of ram instead of 16. I initially wanted a laptop that did well with gaming and also had good battery life. The asus g14 seemed to be a good fit, but battery life was horrid not to mention the many other issues. My solution? This Samsung galaxy book flex. I use the Thunderbolt 3 port for egpu when wanting extra gaming performance. I know it is more expensive, but hey, I get the best of both worlds, battery life or gaming performance when I want it. In terms of battery life, don't listen to the other reviewer that says battery life is bad. Check it out for yourself. If I am just browsing the web, I can put it on battery saving mode and turn the brightness down and I get around 10+ hours. Not sure how samsung gets 19? I got about 5 hours with the asus g14. Also, someone was complaining about gaming on this..you do realize that this is integrated iris plus graphics, right? What were you expecting? The fingerprint reader just works. I haven't had any issues with it. Can't say that with the g14..yikes, that never worked. As far as some peoples issue with the shift key being shortened to accommodate the fingerprint reader, well, just try it out for yourself. I don't have a problem with it. The only time the laptop has had higher temps is during gaming for me. I put it on a cooling pad and I don't have any issues. The Qled screen is amazing. It works well for photo editing and gaming. Although, I do use an external monitor for most gaming to get higher frame rates with egpu. I haven't experienced any issues since updating everything out of the box. With best buy's return policy, there is no reason not to try this out if you are looking for a great everyday laptop.

Returned an HP Spectre 360 to get this
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on sale for $1299. Returned my HP Spectre 360 that was $1499. I like this one much better. It lacks 4K and the 16GB RAM like the Spectre, but for my standard office and streaming needs, they are both unnecessary. Love the quality and construction of this one, plus the color is a nice bonus. And the screen, while not 4K, is exceptional--colors and sharpness really pop and even at the absolute lowest brightness setting, it looks fabulous. Not having a problem with the keyboard and placement of the fingerprint reader, as some have mentioned--you just get used to it very quickly. Overall, a great computer that I look forward to using for a long time. Highly recommended.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful laptop! Super fast, handles everything I need it to! The screen is super bright and shows everything with crisp detail. I love the touch screen. Build quality is amazing. All aluminum which gives a luxurious feel to it. I love the color blue as well! It really stands out among other laptops. For the price, you get lots more with this laptop than comparable Dell or Lenovo products. It also comes with a touch pen, which just slides into the side on the laptop. Super nice. Every connection port is a Thunderbolt 3 port which simplifies everything!

A great machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an IT professional, I would prefer 16gb of ram, nut this machine is sweet. Boots in seconds, awesome display, is great for routine workday productivity. However if your doing massive graphics manipulation or spreadsheet with 10,000+ entries that you are running macros and formulas bon, go for a heftier machine. Also not meant for high end gaming, but for the majority body casual users and general office apps, it's a great machine. The 15.6 makes for a larger than normal tablet, but you get used to it and appreciate the extra size.

Be wary of the Hinges
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the first expensive laptop i have ever bought myself. It was 1500$ when I bought it and it lasted me about 2/3 years before one of the hinges completely popped out of the screen. My warranty had expired by this point so I had to explore outside options. Saved myself 1100$ going to a 3rd party “fix it” store. Not best buy’s fault but something to think about, and before you ask no i didnt drop it or do anything excessive. One day I just opened my laptop and my hinges popped out like nothing.

Excellent laptop with flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is excellent. The QLED screen is very bright and vivid. The S-Pen works as it should. Being a 2-in-1 makes it very convenient for watching YouTube or Netflix in bed or on the couch. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but at 15", I can understand why. The speakers were also fairly weak. I tweaked with the settings and managed to get it to sound a bit louder, but overall underwhelming. Bluetooth speakers or a pair of headphones are advised. The major problem I had with this laptop was the ambient sensor. It's used to change the backlit keyboard brightness. That feature cannot be turned off. I had many instances where I was typing in a dimly lit room and the keyboard backlight would just turn off. I realized it was because the ambient sensor was picking up the screen brightness and interpreting it as a well lit room so it thought I didn't need the backlight. Made it unusable until I put a sticker on the sensor to simulate darkness at all times. I contacted Samsung about it and they said the feature could not be turned off and suggested I send it in for repair, however, the 13" version that I also bought had the same issue, so I returned them both. Were it not for that ambient light issue and the poor speakers, I would have kept this laptop.

Very Nice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very light weight. Nice and fast. It doesn't have any standard USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports so I had to buy an adapter for micro USB. I still don't understand the price difference of $60 between the blue one and the red one with the exact same specs. Sales person said the color was the only difference. I thought it odd to be racist against a laptop, but Best Buy makes the rules. All in all it's a good fast machine. I will buy another one when I find out which color is the cheapest.

This laptop does it all!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had the galaxy book flex for about 2 weeks now and its everything i could want and more. The display is incredible, the hinges are sturdy and the keyboard is solid. Im getting an average battery life between 12-13 hours which isnt far off from what they advertised. If I had to nit pick anything, the speakers could go a tiny bit louder, but shouldn't deter you from getting this lap top.

Gorgeous ultrabook for art.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have zero regrets. I wanted a laptop with a built in wacom emr digitizer on the screen, which was still powerful enough for some light data science work. It performs flawlessly. Specs are firmly in the high end ultrabook / ok workstation category. It is also beautiful, and I mean BEAUTIFUL. There is a newer model coming 2021 with a discrete graphics card and larger memory options if you need that. But it won't be blue.

Good computer with buggy software
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great screen and build quality. Good battery life and looks great. I did not keep mine and ended up returning it because the hinge is weaker than I'd like and the software can be buggy. I noticed on mine having some issues with the keyboard backlight and the s-pen would constantly notify me multiple times a day that it was not connected and to ensure it was in the laptop (it was in the laptop). I reset the laptop and no change (I did not want to fresh install windows 10 from usb stick because I was afraid I would lose s-pen functionality). I believe this is inexcusable for a $1300.00 ultrabook convertible. I also previously had the 13.3 inch version of the laptop that I purchased from Amazon with the same exact problems. Get your act together Samsung!

My 2nd Samsun!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I fell so in love with the smaller version of this laptop that I had to buy this one. The color is amazing, however it attracts so many fingerprints, but a simple wipe fixes that issue. Battery life is amazing, and browing the web is fast and crisp. This also isnt a bad option for gamers as well. You can go wrong in my opinion

Light but very capable
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I traded in my HP Envy laptop for this Samsung and while i loved my HP this Galaxy book is amazing. The light weight design makes me more likely to use it as a tablet and the included pen is a very nice touch. The QLED screen is the most amazing screen i have ever seen on a laptop. The only thing complaint i have is i wish Samsung would integrate a mic and cam kill switch on it.

Great laptop
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this laptop for about a year, just traded it in on the new Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360. It runs games very well. The picture quality is great for what you can pay for it now. If youre looking into this laptop, I would advise to go ahead and pay the extra money to get something from the Galaxy Book 3 line. Over all it was a great laptop, i have absolutely no complaints.

Great light weight laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this laptop after about a month of using it. Pros - it's fast, light, comfortable to work on, stable, and I love the integrated SPen. Cons - I wish it had a bigger SSD, more RAM (or the ability to add more), and at least one USB 3.0 port. Other than that, I'm pretty happy. I haven't had any of the issues that others seem to have with loose hinges. I'm hoping that it holds up for a good, long while!

Good laptop with some odd choices
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off let me see why I purchased this to begin with OR what got me to at least. I purchased the Samsung 4K display Chromebook in fiesta red and was pleasantly surprised by the build quality however I had never owned a Chromebook before and realized The limited use it had for me and also the battery life on the Samsung version was not great so I decided to look elsewhere for a Windows laptop. after looking around for a bit I was surprised to find out Samsung had a few laptops with the same build quality or close to it as their premium Chromebook. It looked like all of them had pretty good reviews overall mostly highlighting great battery life great display which I found to be true. Now for the bad the keyboard very odd choices I don't like the short shift key with the fingerprint reader beside it and and the numpad in my opinion is not very usable it has an odd orientation and I frequently made errors and that honestly is the two main reasons why I decided not to keep. I really wish manufacturers would stop putting the power button on the side of the laptop if it is a two in one this makes it very easy to actually cut your laptop off when trying to change positions so I end up just turning off the function and settings altogether. Also not a big deal but I did notice that the bottom of the laptop actually had a decent amount of flex when picking up and moving it around versus the Chromebook which seem to have a solid metal bottom versus maybe plastic on the galaxy book.
