Great with a couple minor issues.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The biggest issue is you can't upgrade the ram, I really feel like a $999 laptop should have 16gb ram. Additionally, the Samsung recovery maker software would not work with any of the half dozen drives I have (128gb). Third the fingerprint scanner works well, but it's in the most awkward spot. That's the list of issues. The good, stellar battery, machine is very snappy and has a beautiful display.

Bang for the Buck!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs fast, vibrant screen, and strong battery life. I love the Samsung quality, and the size is just right for my college bound student. This is our household's third Samsung laptop, but we also have an older Lenovo (X1 Carbon) and an HP (Spectre). For the money, this new Flex Alpha is a great deal!

Superior Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This baby is speedy. No need to wait for loading screens and multi-tasker. Lightweight and efficient in all aspects. Touch-enabled capability with a large memory drive that is plenty if used properly. For the money is definitely worth the buy. I would definitely recommend it if you are deciding to buy a fast lighting technological achievement.

Samsung galaxy flex book
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven’t found any cons yet. Only pros...love the display, very prominent with a beautiful contrast. Easy to use and keep up to date. Speed seems to be very fast, so so far I am loving this Pc. Have only had it for about a month so far, so fingers crossed it stays this nice!

Good for university students
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s very lightweight and stylish. I’ve been using it for a couple of days now and I couldn’t be happier. It’s very fast and the camera is okay. In terms of the sound it’s good and the touch panel works fine. The battery could last from 11 to 8 hours, just depends on the light and battery saving mode. It’s very easy to use, Overall, is a good quality laptop.

Don’t buy at full price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two for my kids during the back to school sale. The specs are good and boots up in less than 10 seconds. The Goods: even when the fans are running it is more of a hum than loud white noise. I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch and that thing is 2x louder during high cpu usage. The QLED screen is great. Colors are vibrant and sharp even though it’s only 1080p. It’s definitely the one thing that stood out from the rest of the under 1k laptop. Fingerprint reader works well and I got use to the shorten right shift key. Benchmarked the Western Digital SSD and got about 3000 MB/s read and 2500 MB/s write so it is plenty and fast. The build quality is great and very light at 2.6 lbs. It is very close to Apple standard. USB A and C plus mini SD is a big plus. The Bad: would be nice to have usb c charging but not a deal breaker for me. I was disappointed to find out that the HDMI port was version 1.4 which only handles 4K at 30 hz. That is disappointing because I have a 4K monitor and would love to have at least 60hz. Newer HDMI 2.0 would have been nice. I couldn’t find that spec on Best Buy website or Samsung’s. 12 GB of ram is good but mismatch if a 8 GB and 4 GB for two slot is strange. I heard the model sold in South Korea has 16 GB. UHD 630 integrated graphics is the biggest weakness here. Would love to see Intel Iris here instead but it is useable for light non 3D games and web browsing or watching YouTube. Overall: I would not have paid the full price on this laptop but the sales price made it a great buy. It is good enough to do most tasks except 3D gaming and heavy content creating. This is a very good light and mobile laptop. Just make sure to get it on sale.

Great laptop, missing key features
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had Samsung laptops before and what draws me to them is their screens. I don't want to look at some dim colorless panel all the time like you get with other laptops in this range. The price was good with the student deal (749) so I purchased it. Pros - lightweight, beautiful display, responsive. Cons- This thing has a proprietary charger, and it has a tiny pin. I almost returned it flat out because of this. I can't emphasize how much I hate this because a) these chargers always wear out and b) USB c charging is not new. There was nothing close performance wise in the price range I wanted at the time though. Battery life isn't anywhere near what's stated, unless you dim the display way down and let it idle. Standby life is good. Actual use I haven't run it long enough to get a solid idea but I'm guessing in the ballpark of, realistically, 6-10 hours. All around decent machine for the money, and well built.

Quality and performance at a great price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great speed. Love the QLED screen. It drives my 32 inch QLED Samsung TV as an external monitor without any issues. The fingerprint sign-in function allows quick access. Works with Bamboo stylus for tablet mode. All around excellent computer for home or business use at a reasonable price.

Great screen with minor glitches
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The QLED screen on this looks amazing and also has touch screen ability. there were several small issues that caused me to return mine. Finger print reader worked about 1 in 10 times. Lighted keyboard made silver keys hard to see and random clicking with trackpad. If those don't bother you, it's a great laptop.

Loved it while it worked
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love samsung however this device lasted about a year and then the motherboard went out. To add to my frustration, apparently this is the ONE item in purchase history I didn't purchase protection for. Yay

Great for school but not so great for games
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very sleek laptop and super lightweight. Only thing I dislike is the spec on it beside the ram and ssd drive. CPU and GPU pretty much suck. Wish Samsung had a amd version with the ryzen 4700u and Vega 8 instead. If you want something well build and light and also quality screen. Get this but if you want a all around laptop from gaming to lightweight and decent video editing. Choose something else. I have a hp envy 13 with the ryzen 4700u and it can play many games no problem. Also can edit a 7gb video to 1080p 60fps in under 10 min. The Samsung Intel i7 10510u did it in 25 min.

Very comfortable
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it, easy to carry in my handbag, it is very comfortable to type as the keyboard extends across the entire bottom half of the laptop and the touchpad is comfortable to use as it is also very wide.

Samsung Galaxy Book Flex
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are many pluses to this Samsung computer. I am enjoying its speed and versatility. I must say though that the video camera is sub par in comparison to my former Surface Pro which had an excellent camera. This is my one disappointment as I need to look my best in Zoom meetings.

Excellent Display & A Good Buy when on Sale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed an updated PC with usb3 and usbc ports for an upcoming virtual memorial production on zoom. I used external microphone and video camera while porting the screen to a 55” tv for the local attendees. After reviewing CR ratings I found this unit on sale for $800 at Best Buy. The unit worked flawlessly for the event and is actually fun to use. I mainly use it as a laptop. One unique highlight for me was the unit’s screen color accuracy and quality. It uses Samsung QLED TV screen technology and it shows beautifully on its 13.3” screen. The battery life was good as I could run for several hours before needing a charge. The 22 gig ram and 500 gig SSD hard drive are plenty for my work. The keyboard is good but not great. The webcam is a 720p resolution and is just OK. Overall it is fun to use, very small footprint, light weight, with good battery life and excellent touch screen display. It was well worth $800 (on sale) but I would think twice about paying $1000 (retail).

It has great battery life and even has nice backlit keyboard (which you can change the brightness of). Nothing short of perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a bad experience with the HP 360x, I exchanged it for this laptop. It works perfectly for my heavy course load in school, can multitask with ease, the specs are amazing for the price, and the screen is beautiful. A major plus is I can take notes on the screen in tablet mode with the Wacom Bamboo Ink pen (some people claim it does not work on this 2-in-1, but it works great for me). The only thing some people could find bothersome about this laptop is the slight screen wobble when typing, though that is typical with most laptop-tablet hybrids. Otherwise, this laptop is more than what I could ask for.
