I have been pleasantly surprised with this little guy. It has all the power I need, the solid state drive makes boot up times only seconds and me and the wife last week went glamping and used it to watch a movie , great!!!!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS I bought this laptop on a whim during a student sale for 599, not really knowing what to expect since I've never bought a Samsung computer. I have owned a couple Surface tablets, an HP Envy, an HP Spectre, and a couple Lenovo Yogas. This Flex2 Alpha is the only one that has been trouble free for me. No hardware issues, buggy software or drivers, and no crashes or other weirdness. In my experience, that is a rare thing in this category and price segment. BUILD The build quality of the laptop is very good. Not as good as a Macbook or Spectre, but it still feels solid and premium. Very light and easy to carry as well. The keyboard does feel a bit cheap and has very short key travel, but isn't too bad to type on and the white backlighting looks good. The trackpad is a bit small but feels nice to use and clicks feel solid. VIDEO AND SOUND I would say the quality of the screen is pretty good. It's not super color-accurate, but the brightness is very good, brighter than a Macbook Pro and even visible in direct sunlight when you set it to outdoor mode. Again though, this causes a drop in color accuracy, but it shouldn't bother casual users. There is a little light bleed underneath the webcam on my unit, but it isn't severe. Speakers are probably the worst aspect of the laptop. Volume is OK, but they lack any sort of bass and put out pretty poor quality sound overall. Their location underneath the front end of the laptop also causes them to be muffled when using the laptop on your lap. POWER The i5 processor in here was also a pleasant surprise. Everything feels snappy in day-to-day use and the integrated graphics can easily handle 4K video streaming and older games like Fallout New Vegas or Grand Theft Auto 4. I have used Photoshop and InDesign for some light work projects and it performed great. In heavy use I get 5-6 hours of battery, and lighter tasks like Youtube or web browsing will easily last for 10 hours or more. A ways short of the advertised ~17 hours but still great for an Intel machine. MISCELLANEOUS STUFF As far as I know, the RAM and storage can't be upgraded, but you can expand the storage with a microSD card. I was also happy to discover that the Surface Pen works with this laptop right out of the box, no pairing required. Writing with it feels good, but I have not tried using the pen for artwork so I can't speak for tilt or pressure sensitivity functions. The fingerprint reader works really well, but I find the location awkward as it causes me to miss the right shift key. CONCLUSION If the actual price of this laptop were $600-700 like it is on sales, my review would be an easy 5/5. I am very happy with it, considering I paid $599 for it. At the price point of $850 though, it is only a decent value, not a great one.

I am very satisfied with this computer. I previously had a touchscreen from a different manufacturer, also a PC, and loved that feature. I switched to the Samsung because the value seemed better. Very lightweight, seems to work great for my word document and web browsing needs! Looks sleek, too. Much better battery life so far compared to my previous older computer, though I've only been using it for a few months. I don't do any photo or video-editing work, just the basics. I initially tried a wider 15-inch model, but found that most websites just had white bars and that extra wide screen wasn't worth it for me.

Given that this laptop was given a rather hush-hush release in the United States, I felt like I'd give it a bit of a gamble given the positive responses and reviews lauded on the previous generation of these Samsung QLED laptops. I'm glad I gave Samsung a chance, because this is an excellent choice for the price point and even several hundred dollars higher. 1) The QLED screen isn't OLED- look, I get it keyboard warriors, Samsung's really pushing that comparison through their marketing department, but this screen is really quite spectacular compared to the run-of-the-mill LED panels out there. Colors are bright, the color gamut is great (100% in the P3 color space), and the screen is fantastically bright. I use it at about 40%-50% brightness during the day inside and minimum-20% at night. Outdoor mode is BRIGHT. 2) No awards are going to be won based on the Iris XE graphic solution, but it's plenty powerful enough for my editing work in Capture One. The processor is plenty and 8gb of ram is enough for now- sure, more is better, but Windows does a fine job of distributing resources as necessary. My other primary use other than web surfing is music production in Ableton Live Suite 11, and I can easily work with multiple VSTs (EZ Drummer 2, Guitar Rig, Massive, etc.) without much ado. 3) Battery is always a bit strange- Windows has a weird way of calculating battery life (very workload-dependent, so it'll change constantly), but I easily exceed 8 hours of watching Netflix/YouTube or browsing (browsing exceeds 9 hours). No, it's not 17.5 hr as Samsung states, but we live in an imperfect universe! Excellent laptop- and remarkable when on sale.

I love my Samsung Flex Book Go. It works seamlessly with my GALAXY 23 phone. It's a laptop and tablet all in one. My only concern is the amount of storage it has. I use it for school so I try to keep most files uploaded to the cloud. Its the closest to a MAC BOOK for us Android lovers. I lost one and replaced it with the same one. That's how much I love it!

This laptop is amazing! Lightweight and small but very mighty. Charge lasts a good while and the keyboard clicks perfectly. The touchscreen is so handy with it being on the smaller side. Had for over a year and still working great, doesn't over heat or burn my lap. Recommended to my sister who bought the exact one and she loves hers just as much! Great purchase, highly recommend!

I love this little power house. I was going to get the Microsoft Surface but this was far cheaper so I took a chance. I am a Samsung cell phone user and I can sync the 2. I have a full size Dell Laptop but I use this one all the time now. I use it in my for business and the tablet and laptop feature is the best! Happiest purchase in a long time.

One of the best PC laptop you can buy. I purchased it for my wife. I initially bought her a 15” HP but she didn’t like the size. Exchanged for this and she loves it. Extremely lightweight, very fast and the display is AMAZING!!! It was in sale for $699 when I purchased it. I would definitely buy it again if I needed another.

Great laptop for the price, especially if you are a student. Very lightweight unit, good battery life, but no where near the 17 hours advertised. It's closer to about 5-8 hours real world scenario. RAM on the unit is soldered on so 8GB is all you get. You can however put a different SSD inside. It uses a standard M.2 NVMe SSD. Only thing I wish it would also do is be able to charge via the USB-C plug, but unfortunately it doesn't. It support a MicroSD card in case you don't want to open the unit and upgrade the drive yourself, you can just purchase a MicroSD card to expand your storage. Keep in mind though, Read/Write speeds are going to be very sluggish compared to just getting an upgrade on the SSD. The display on this unit is very...very vivid. Kind of over saturated so I tuned down my display to me more realistic. Samsung loves to over saturate their displays on all their device, regardless of what device you have. So that is a negative for me hence why I took off 1 star. Overall, it is a great unit, especially good for students that need an all day battery life for school. Extremely light weight.
