I love the size of this laptop. It is portable and cute. It is easy to use and connects quickly to Wi-Fi. It has a lot of features to use. I use it to get into my worksite via VM ware and to research information on the internet. It’s a nice laptop.

Absolutely perfect for someone on the go down for business. Much better than the iPad I had with more useful features. Same size as the 12.9 iPad when used as a notebook. Very fast very quick no dead spots when connecting to Wi-Fi. Wonderful laptop. So good that I bought four more for my grandkids.

As an IT professional this computer is disappointing. First, Samsung support for laptops is poor. There is no support downloads for this device, there is no list of drivers and where to download them. This is annoying at best, and at worst bad for the consumer. When talking to support you will be rotated around over and over, by staff who don't understand what a driver is. They say things like it doesn't use drivers, or simple pleasantries over and over instead of do what you ask or tell you they can't. 45 minutes of my life wasted. My viewpoint is from an office environment, and this is in no way a computer you would want to deploy to many staff. We use USB-C docks all over our office, desks have monitors, keyboards, networking, and power. So a staff member can with one plug do everything. Not with this laptop. USB-C is NON-POWERED! WHAT! A $500 Asus laptop has two a powered USB-C's. Complete credibility is gone. Its strange how simple features you use all the time can totally ruin it, and not having this as a feature is a huge let down. Also try to find this information before purchasing... ...good luck. Other things I don't like, power cable is some tiny little barrel connector that won't last a few years. Why isn't this USB-C? Like many other much cheaper laptops. It reminds me of a $200 laptop from walmart. I would much rather have had two USB-C's right next to each other on the upper left side like most other laptops. The Intel i7-1165G7 is the same as an i5 with 4 cores and 8 threads just a clock speed adjustment, I doubt you'd notice. A Ryzen 5 is a better buy, more powerful, and uses less power. Pretty big disappointment. AMD has been making a much better laptop CPU for sometime, its best we stop buying these mediocre cpu's that are just marketing names at this point. TLDR: poor support, non-powered usb-c, mediocre cpu, and power cable.

This is a very light (2lb 8oz) 2 in 1 laptop.. This is also a fast little unit since it is equipped with the latest i7 processor (11th gen Intel 1165G7 @ 2.80 GHz) 16 GB RAM 510GB SSD Review of things that stood out to me; The QLED screen - Super sharp and bright. It even has an ‘outside’ setting allowing you to brighten even more in those sunny situations. Nice touch sensitivity as well. Windows pen worked great on it. Speakers- Pretty average. Speakers are on the bottom, so if sitting on a soft surface the audio will be muted. However, if you flip over the screen to prop up the laptop (Like a tent) speakers are aimed at you. Bluetooth is your best option for music of course. Backlit keyboard – this is really a bummer for me (Only drawback really The reason for -1 star). All other laptops I have I can turn on and off the backlit keyboard. With Flex2 Alpha you have a choice of how long it takes for the light to timeout, but you cannot force it to stay on. As you can see in my pictures because of my overhead lighting it makes the keyboard difficult to read the keys at times. I would prefer to keep the backlit keyboard on at all time in this environment. Smooth and accurate touchpad. I do like the feel of typing on this keyboard. Fingerprint reader work instantly. Fan – Seems to run a bit more than other perhaps, but it is quite. Battery – Fast charging. If watching videos or a movie, you will get more like 5-6 hours on a full battery. Battery saver mode 99% charge tells me I have about 8 hours left based on my use. If you do very light work, or it sits idle, then you may get up to 17 hours. Connections – Aux. Audio, Micro SD, 2 USB, USB C (Does not charge device) and HDMI. I powered 2 monitors with a USB C Hub, no problems there. I really like the HDMI option as well though. Software- Samsung Flow allows you to link your phone and get all tests, notifications etc. Also love the Samsung Studio Plus – Nice video editing and slide show software. Overall this is a lightweight powerful 2 in 1 that would tackle all your daily tasks. Great for students, travelers, really anyone looking for great value.

Outstanding Performance and Reliability – Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha 13.3" QLED Touch-Screen Laptop (Intel Core i7, 16GB Memory, 512GB SSD) for over two years now, and I can confidently say that it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. This laptop has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Performance: The Intel Core i7 processor paired with 16GB of RAM ensures that this laptop handles everything I throw at it with ease. Whether I'm running multiple browsers, working on large spreadsheets, or even doing some light video editing, the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha performs flawlessly. Despite having numerous applications open simultaneously and not turning it off for weeks at a time, the laptop remains responsive and quick, with no signs of slowing down. Display: The 13.3" QLED touch-screen is nothing short of stunning. The colors are vibrant, the brightness is exceptional, and the touch functionality is smooth and responsive. Whether I'm watching movies, editing photos, or simply browsing the web, the display quality enhances the overall experience. Battery Life: The battery life is another standout feature. Even with heavy use, it easily lasts through a full day of work and entertainment without needing a recharge. This is particularly impressive given the laptop’s powerful performance and vibrant display. Build Quality and Design: The design of the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is sleek and modern. The build quality is top-notch, with a sturdy yet lightweight construction that makes it easy to carry around. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the touchpad is precise and responsive. Reliability: Perhaps the most impressive aspect of this laptop is its reliability. Over two years of intensive use, I have not encountered a single issue. It has proven to be a dependable workhorse that I can always count on. In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is a remarkable laptop that delivers exceptional performance, a stunning display, and unbeatable reliability. It’s a device that has truly stood the test of time, and I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a high-quality, versatile laptop.

    Small, Solid and Awesome

This review is for the Samsung – Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha 13.3” QLED Touch Screen Laptop model NP730QDA. This is a 2-in-1 laptop. This means you can use it as a laptop; or, use it in tablet mode when you flip the screen 180 degrees. When you open the box, you find the laptop, power cord, warranty information and a quick start guide. You are immediately impressed by the build quality and feel of the laptop when you unpack it! I love the small form factor and feel of the laptop. It is very light and solid (aluminum). The spec is 4.19 lbs which is very light. I recommend this laptop and rate it 5 out of 5 stars. There are a bunch of Samsung Galaxy integrations available. I do not have other Samsung Galaxy products so could not try any of them. It may be important to you though. This version has an Intel i7 1165G7 CPU @ 2.8 GHz (turbo to 4.7 GHz), Iris Xe graphics, 16 GB of RAM and 512GB memory of for the hard drive. This is more than enough for almost any task you need. I could not find any information on upgrading the memory or SSD. If this is similar to the previous Flex Alpha version the RAM is soldered and not upgradeable. You should be able to replace the SSD. There is a full – size HDMI, I USB type C (not for charging the laptop), 2 USB 3.2, Micro SD reader, headphone/mic-in combo and 1 DC in. You must use the DC charger. The laptop came as 24% charged with 1 hour and 18 minutes for a full charge. The initial set up was straight forward and took about 30 minutes. I also updated everything using Windows Update and Samsung Update. There were a number of updates necessary including BIOS. Please perform all updates first. I find a backlit keyboard is a must for me. Fn-F9 is for the backlight settings of 0%, 30%, 60% and 100%. 60% is sufficient. I find the backlight does not seem to stay enabled if you shut down and start again. A minor annoyance but annoying all the same. If you just close the laptop to hibernate, it seems to maintain the backlight setting. As I was setting the backlight in a dark room the first time, I mistakenly pressed Fn-F11. This enables Block Recording Mode and turns off you camera. A welcome and useful feature for privacy. However, I thought my camera was broken as I did intentionally enable the setting. Some guidance in case you camera is not working – try Fn-F11. The keyboard is perfect for me. I use the track pad a lot as well and it is perfect for me. Overall this is my favorite laptop for everyday use. It is small and powerful with a great screen. The only gripe I have is the fingerprints. As you see by the pictures, the fingerprints collect very easily. I would also prefer if the backlight setting stayed enabled. This is a perfect laptop to use as a portable powerhouse. You should easily get a full school day of use on one charge.

A Solid Performer with Striking Display

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha 13.3" QLED Touch-Screen Laptop, and I found it to be a solid performer with some noteworthy features. Here's my honest assessment of the device. First and foremost, the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha boasts a striking 13.3-inch QLED touch-screen display. The colors are vibrant, and the picture quality is impressive, providing an enjoyable viewing experience for various multimedia activities. In terms of performance, the Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of memory ensure smooth operation and efficient multitasking. I didn't encounter any major issues while using resource-intensive applications or managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The 512GB SSD offers sufficient storage space for files and provides speedy access to data. The laptop's Mystic Black color adds a touch of elegance, making it visually appealing. One of the standout features of the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is its versatility. With its 360-degree hinge, it effortlessly transitions between laptop and tablet modes, catering to different usage scenarios. The touch-screen functionality works well, and the device is lightweight and slim, making it portable and suitable for on-the-go use. The keyboard offers a comfortable typing experience, and the touchpad is responsive and accurate. Additionally, the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner adds convenience and security to the device. While the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha has its strengths, there are a few areas that could be improved. The audio quality falls short of expectations, lacking depth and richness. Furthermore, the webcam's image quality is mediocre, especially in low-light conditions. In terms of battery life, the laptop offers decent performance, lasting for several hours of continuous usage. However, it's advisable to keep the charger handy for longer periods of work or entertainment. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha 13.3" QLED Touch-Screen Laptop is a reliable device with a captivating display and satisfactory performance. While it may have some minor drawbacks such as audio quality and webcam performance, it still manages to provide a solid computing experience. If you're looking for a versatile laptop with a striking display, the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is worth considering.
