I contact sumsung support and they fixed for me but it disappear again and again. The worst laptop ever. My instructors kicked me off many times because of zoom video camera off.

Samsung still makes a great ultrabook.

I'll be honest, I was a little weary of Samsung as a company that still makes laptops, but I saw the specs and price of this nice little Ultrabook and decides to give it a shot. I'm an IT professional by trade, so I work with a great deal of laptops on a daily basis. I was looking for a good solid performing Ultrabook for personal use. I will say, most of the time my Ultrabook stays hooked up to a USB-C docking station, so I only use it unplugged maybe 25% of the time when I'm going around my home, or short hotel trips, otherwise it's connected to my monitor, keyboard/mouse most of the time. Let's start with the good, and there is plenty. - Core i7/16GB RAM/512GB SSD - These specs are great, and these are configurations that often are found in much more expensive laptops. The fact that I bought this for $850 (it was on sale at the time), and receives these specs, especially an 11th gen intel processor with Iris Xe graphics, that is a great value. - Which brings me to my next point, it's very fast and responsive. Very fluid, consistent high performance through and through. There's hardly any lag or stuttering, it is very clean, and honestly probably the best part about this laptop. Performance is outstanding. - Fit and finish is great. Solid aluminum build, lightweight, sturdy hinges. The keyboard is great, not the best laptop keyboard I've used (I'm spoiled by Lenovo keyboards and certain Dells), but it's very serviceable and above average. The touchpad is very good, and I was say only a little below the Dell XPS or Apple trackpad in quality. Speakers are nice and decently loud, but they are bottom firing which does muffle the sound just a little bit. But to be honest, all laptop speakers suck. Use headphones or external speakers if you are serious about sound. - The display is gorgeous, it's very bright, colors are nice and accurate, and they pop. Their displays remind me a lot of their Samsung phones, feels like the same DNA to a degree. And now for the cons, which there are some, but I wouldn't say any of them are a deal breaker. - The fan does spin a fair bit. It's not a terribly quiet laptop, but it's not extremely loud either. My unit more just sounds like pushing air. Thankfully there's no annoying tones, frequencies or whines, believe me, I've heard some way worse laptops with fan noise. This one isn't bad, but it's not a silent computer either. - It's a little heavy to be used as a tablet, I feel like it would be best used in a pinch here and there at best. - There's a lot of preinstalled bloatware and Samsung software out of the box. I highly recommend uninstalling the software you don't need before doing anything. - Battery life is above average, but pales compared to a few higher end options in it's class. - Worst con of all, the USB-C port doesn't offer power delivery. This would have been so nice if it had USB-C charging. It still uses the old school barrel port. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. For the price I paid, this laptop is loaded with specs and features. It's a good budget option next to the Dell XPS, Apple MacBook Air, and some other mid to high range laptops. Laptops are pretty expendable these days so anything beyond 3+ years of use is great in my opinion. We'll see how it holds up long term, but so far color me impressed. Well done Samsung.

Let's start right off by saying "I'm very impressed"! I didn't expect the colors and QLED screen to blow me away - but they did and you can't help but notice! Along with that, it's got a very quick and responsive feel, makes me happy. :-) Seriously though, when I have a chance to test new laptops, I run them through the Passmark Performance Test tool. I've attached the final result from this laptop's test below. It even beat my current "loaded" laptop in some categories like memory and disk. Download the tool for free and compare to your existing system. I'd be curious to see some of your own test results on your existing system - post them in the comments! Remember - this is NOT a dedicated gaming device - more for everyday productivity and entertainment use. So far, the only CON is has is the charger. Most new thin 2-1 devices and Ultrabooks are leverage USB-C type chargers, this laptop still has a 1/16" jack. It works, just odd that Samsung is still using that. Speakers are adequate for a small device like this. I expect that for audiophiles, they'll connect to their favorite Bluetooth speaker or use the headset cable. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the solid feel, battery life, vivid QLED screen and overall performance of Flex2 Alpha.

This laptop doesn't like to be projected onto a larger screen. It works when it wants to work, as I am having difficulty even writing this review due to the lag time. It will flip the screen selections off to the side, down to the bottom or anywhere it pleases. It turns off when it wants to even with the settings set to never turn off and it is plugged in. I have switched out the keyboard and the mouse but it is horribly slow whether online or off. If I didn't pay so much money for it and full Geek squad protection I would fling it out the window. It might just be this unit which I should have known that it was going to be trouble when I first opened it, went to the control panel to start setup and it froze. First visit then to the Geek squad. I wonder how many more times I will have to bring it to them?? Here is a sample of how it splits the screen when it feels like it. forgive the black out spots those are mine.

Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is a great laptop for anyone looking to upgrade their devices. Its touch-screen has amazing graphics and makes everything look so much brighter and crisp. It also loads fast, so it has significantly improved my video calls. The setup was super easy and it only took about 15 min. It's super lightweight at little under 3 lbs. and the illuminating keyboard is a nice feature. I really enjoy my new Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha and highly recommend it.

On sale, this laptop is a steal. The i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD are typically only available for much more. Even at MSRP, this laptop is rather competitive. The display is top notch and 1080p is very reasonable at this size. The colors pop and Samsung's included display settings allow some tweaking to the color profile to make the colors more or less vivid. The max brightness is perfectly fine for any indoor viewing; I haven't tested the outdoor mode, but I'm sure it helps with visibility. The inclusion of a touch display and 2-in-1 form factor is an added touch which has been useful in a couple situations but isn't something I ordinarily use. Performance of this laptop on Windows 11 is great, able to handle any normal tasks without a hitch. I noticed the laptop thermal throttles when CPU is at 100% for more than a couple minutes but this isn't a typical scenario. The laptop is very slim and I'm not surprised that it doesn't have the best cooling solution in the world, but it is more than adequate for most use cases. Normally I get about 10 hours of use throughout the day with web browsing, programming and video streaming - this could likely be increased without Bluetooth headphones or if I changed the power settings in Windows. Keyboard is perfectly fine - I'm used to mechanical switches but this reminds me of my old Macbook Air but slightly less mushy, overall a good typing experience. The right SHIFT key is slightly smaller to make room the fingerprint sensor but I've adapted considerably since I first purchased the computer. This laptop is a great buy when on sale, and still reasonably competitive when at MSRP. The touch screen, port selection (USB-A ports and full-sized HDMI are being phased out in other laptop lines to make room for Thunderbolt), and specs all lend themselves to the future useability of this laptop. Would recommend this laptop.

As a pre med students is really great 10/10. It has good screen quality, is really fast and it also has a good amount of space to download my books or softwares, it’s not heavy at all, it is a good size for a student that has to carry a lot, I absolutely love how it can be turn into a tablet and how easy is to use the tablet mode, really easy also if you hate writing on paper you can buy yourself the electronic pen and it helps a lot. I really recommend this laptop if your major Is pre med, also it’s battery lasts long enough i absolutely love it.

Bought this because of its 2 in 1 feature. After only a year of use the touch screen is bugging out. It works when it wants to and doesn't work at other times. Now that it's out of warranty, samsung won't do anything about it. I bought this for college and wanted something on the lower priced side. Well now I have to spend more on iPad if I want to be able to take digital notes. Samsung build quality has declined over the years. Had an s21 and galaxy buds, both of which had to be sent in for warranty repair. This laptop is no exception, and it's out of warranty.

Bought this as a daily use laptop for work and school. It is sleek and light weight. I love how easy it is to carry without bulk. Battery life is good. Display is clean and bright. 2 years in, screen started flashing a little but it went away. Unsure what it is or needs but loving that it is a touch screen and has good speed.

Awful device. I owned two of these. First one kept freezing and crashing with blue screen right away. I exchanged for a 2nd device which after some time started to show the same problem. I've sent it for repairs and had it gone for weeks only to get it back with no fix. Samsung customer service is no help. The issue is with RAM which btw is soldered to the motherboard. I would not recommend Samsung product to anyone at this point, especially at this price.

I was fortunate to grab one of these during a sale on them. At a price of $750 this little daily driver for the average student, media user, and office worker is more than enough speed and then some. The 11th Gen Intel i7 is amazing. The integrated graphics work spectacularly, a lot of not-too-old games run well at lower settings at 1080p. And speaking of resolution, this little 13.3" QLED screen really pops. I'm not sure about the color accuracy or any of the nitty-gritty, but it's bright and vivid. 1080p looks great on this size screen and I don't tend to notice any pixels. The touchscreen is a nice addition. Sometimes it's just easier to tap all the e-mails you want to delete rather than having to click each one. And it is compatible with certain stylus' so if you are into writing out notes or doodling for fun then you will love this fully rotational screen. 16GB of RAM really allow the i7 to shine. So many laptops ship with a paltry 8GB these days--that is how much my phone has. Running this modern Windows 11 OS on 8gigs combined with tabbed browsing, some streaming video/music apps open, social media, perhaps an Office project or two and dare I say, a video game... Yeah that's a recipe for a not-so-snappy device. Fortunately, this Galaxy Flex2 Alpha does not have that problem! Multi-tasking for the average modern human will be a non-issue. The I/Os are nice, do wish we had USB-C charging, but I suppose a trade-off had to be made somewhere for the price. I love typing on the keyboard. This is the smallest computer I've owned, and I was a little hesitant at first, but it sounds and feels so pleasant to use. The build quality is highly pleasant as well, with a solid metal feel and weight to it that feels high-end. As my secondary PC I don't mind the 512GB SSD, more than enough space for programs and save files. Plus, the USB-C port allows for a fast plug-and-play storage device to augment if needed. While this i7 handles games great, this sleek little device is definitely not set up for the thermal throttling that inevitably takes place. Nothing that has crashed a game, but the device will get quite warm all the way through the keyboard on top especially near the charging port. It's nothing I consider to be a big enough negative to take away a star because this isn't a gaming laptop. It just happens to handle games well with its integrated graphics. Lastly, the battery is decent. Samsung has a battery saver mode which is nice as I usually just keep my laptop plugged in. It'll last several hours of constant use without the gaming. I have noticed the battery seems to drain a bit more than I feel like it should when put to sleep and folded up. As an average feeling battery, I don't feel like it's lost any points there. Overall, based on the sale price and all the qualities of the device mentioned above (and some I may have forgotten), I feel this has been one of the better tech buys in a market with increasingly cheaper products. Samsung really nailed a "not-quite-premium-but-not-a-piece-of-junk" product here and I would most definitely recommend it.

Background: I purchased this machine at $800 to replace an old $600 Acer Laptop from 2019 that ended up with both hinges broken and degraded battery. While what I expected from these laptops differ, I needed this machine to have at least a 1080p touchscreen, and good enough specs to run video through it via a capture card along with just basic tasks relating to school use, Detailed specs (what the specs list won't tell you): Screen Hardware ID: MONITOR\BOE08FA (Touchscreen, 1080p, 13.2in, 420cd/m2, ΔE >2 DCI-P3, QLED) Intel i7-1165G7/ Iris Xe (Undervolting is impossible) Realtek ALC256 Audio (Max 24bit, 48Khz) The laptop has a great screen with decent battery life (4-7 hours in my use). Performance is better than what most will ever need, though this is not not a gaming computer. Theoretically the Iris Xe will play games/emulators as long as they are a decade old as it's a little better than a GT 1030 Graphics card. Intel's QSV tech allows it to be used as a secondary monitor/ streaming capability as long as you have a capture card compatible too. 16GB of ram is more than most need today, but 8GB is likely going to be phased out soon. You cannot upgrade the RAM here. 512GB SSD is fine for most.

One of if not the best laptops I’ve purchased. Track pad is smooth, touch screen is great to have and I love how it can fold into a tablet essentially. Bamboo pen makes drafting on this device a breeze and I would recommend this to anyone especially students and artists/designers. Battery lasts practically forever and is plenty of hours long before needing a plug. Not to mention it’s a small quick and convenient package. A great tool at a great price with plenty of features and utility.

Cons: - Buyer be aware as this is a portal to propaganda (the internet was a military project (ARPANET) released to the public to control public opinion and sentiment) - Fan noise - "Loud" fan which is understandable considering the size of the laptop (you can adjust in Samsung settings - performance vs. fan noise) - Battery life - Battery does not last long. Once again, given the size of the laptop and the processing power is understandable. - Speakers - The noise levels are acceptable but I can see why people might say they are low (these can be boosted by using Voicemeeter which is free) - Heat - The laptop can get relatively hot if you are running a lot of applications. I would not recommend having this laptop on your lap when doing so (easy solution: place it on a stand and or book). Pros: - Excellent display - Processing power - 360 ability (I would recommend buying an aftermarket pen to avoid fingerprints on the screen) - Great brightness levels (You will give yourself a headache if you run it at the highest levels) - Rich case feel (not plastic) - Satisfying keyboard typing - Lightweight and easy to carry around - Screen size at 13.3" is perfect. If you want a bigger screen, I would recommend an external monitor setup This is an excellent laptop choice at this price range. I would much rather live off the grid without technology but I am forced to use it everyday for my remote work and I have had no problems as of yet.

Love this computer! It's compact but not so small I can't use things like the keyboard or see the screen. And every single program I've used (Internet browsers, Microsoft 365, kindle) runs well on it! I've had it for a while, and I use it heavily every day, and I've never had a problem. Battery life is great, even after charging overnight or for a long time! Lots of USB cords mean I can plug a lot of things in! I for sure would buy again!

I've had IBM, Apple, Dell, HP, Compaq, and probably others, but this Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha is by far the best. The I7 processor and 16 GB memory certainly makes a difference, but the laptop is easy to setup and runs very fast, even with McAfee running. It's very light and the display is amazing. Love the backlighted keyboard as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a laptop.
