Great purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this little laptop! It is light and easily held with one hand, compact yet has a screen big enough to view photos well. The display is crisp. Keyboard is comfortable to use, and the convertability to use like a tablet and use a pen are great. The price was reasonable. Battery life is wonderful

Both computer and shopping experience were perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both the employees, AND my new computer were excellent. They answered all of my questions (including the ones i had when i came back the next day with a small issue), and were friendly and helpful. I didn't get the sleazy salesman vibe from them, nor was i talked down to, despite admitting to knowing very little about computers. They didn'ttry to upsell me a million things, either. I told them what i wanted, and they showed me immediately the computer i ended up purchasing. I am THRILLED with it. It's exactly what i needed, and let's be real, it's NICE. It's touchscreen, but lightweight, and folds into a tablet. It has bluetooth capability, so i don't need a cord for my printer. I was sad that it didn't have a number pad, so i purchased it separately, and i cannot make special characters with it, so that's kind of lame. I have to go to the character map and copy and paste. It's a slight inconvenience. And i love that it's so FAST. I open it, and I'm immensely in my workspace. 100% exactly what i needed. The screen is GORGEOUS, crisp and clear. The keys are lit, but that can be turned down or off. The battery lasts ages. I'm very pleased with this machine. And it was on sale!

Love it, despite having concerns
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this device for about a month and I have been happy with it. I had a Dell G5 before this, and I was worried about going from a 15" to 13.3" laptop. It took a while for me to get used to the smaller keyboard but that is it. Also make sure you have all the latest and greatest Windows updates and Samsung drivers. I am a Windows Insider user have upgraded my OS Windows 11 in the past couple days with no issues, "knock-on-wood." I was also worried about how thin it is, but again the device feels solid. This device has also replaced my iPad. When done working, I flip it to a tablet and use it in front of the TV on my couch. My next move is to get a Samsung stylus pen, not included, and use it for note taking. Since it is a i7 and has 16GB of RAM, I would upgrade from Windows Home to Windows Professional. It is a extra $75 but Windows Home is so poor. In all, if I were to change anything I would liked the PC come with a stylus pen and already have Windows Professional. Besides that, I have no complaints. The speed, is great, the size perfect and being able to fold it into a tablet makes it fun.

Nice Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although it's not OLED, I really like the display. It's quite fast, but I've noticed it runs kind of hot. Even in silent mode, the fan is audible on occasion. I also wish that it used USB-C for charging rather than a proprietary connector. It would be nice to be able to use the same charger for all of my Galaxy devices.

Ideal laptop for both desk and airplane.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rarely do I find a knowledgeable sales person in a big box store, but this experience was the exception that proves the rule. My sales person listened to my requirements and brand preferences, and taught me in detail about three Samsung laptop models. We narrowed down the options together and agreed on this one together. It was the right choice. This Galaxy model has everything I need, it was easy to set up and configure, and it is working perfectly so far. I especially like the 180 degree hinge on the touch screen so I can use it as a tablet. It is plenty fast and the screen resolution is brilliant. As a writer, I especially like the comfortable touch on the keyboard and the ability to turn the touchpad off so I don't accidentally brush against it while typing. The shared buttons for arrows and Page Up, Page, Down, Home, and End took a little getting used to, but I can now easily find the Function key to switch back and forth. The unit is lightweight, wastes no screen space with a wide frame like some models do, and it comes on almost instantly when I open the lid.

"A Perfect Powerhouse – Fast, Strong, and Effortl
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Absolutely love my new laptop! It’s incredibly easy to use – from setup to everyday tasks, it’s a breeze. But don’t let its simplicity fool you; this laptop is a powerhouse! It handles everything I throw at it, from heavy multitasking to intense software, without missing a beat. The speed is fantastic – it boots up in seconds, apps open instantly, and there’s no lag at all. If you're looking for something that combines strength, speed, and ease of use, this laptop is a winner!"

A descent laptop for a descent price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung is a decent laptop that brings several impressive features to the table. Its sleek and lightweight design adds to its portability, making it an excellent companion for those constantly on-the-move. The laptop also scores highly on battery life, easily powering through an entire workday. However, the laptop does fall short in a few areas. The build quality, while attractive, feels somewhat flimsy, and the chassis seems prone to scratches. The laptop's audio quality also left me underwhelmed, with thin, tinny sound performance. All in all, the Samsung Notebook is a solid choice for professionals seeking portability and power. But if you value build quality, high-end audio, or require strong graphical performance, it may be worth exploring other options.

No regrets buying this little guy
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this laptop for about 3 years and it is awesome. It's still fast and has a good battery life. The flip around screen is cool. It's way faster than any other laptop or computer that I've ever had. Boots up in half a second. Love it. Great value for the price. If you play games or use zoom, it works like a dream. The only drawbacks: 1. for me, the fingerprint login doesn't work a lot of the time. 2. The sound comes out of the bottom of the laptop and so it sounds quieter.

Great value for money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is surprisingly good for the price. This precise model wasn't on display at the store, so it took some back and forth with the Best Buy person to figure out it existed but overall I'm quite happy. The battery lasts sufficiently long, it's super sleek and light and I love carrying it around. It is fast and powerful at the same time. The only issue I had was when I was initially setting it up something went wrong and I had to reset it before it started running smoothly. Lots of people complain about it having the "old-fashioned" USB ports and battery charger but I actually like that. And the quality of the screen is perfect for me.

Excellent unit for travel, Buy It!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This pc is fantastic! 11gen i7-16mb-512ssd for under $1300 there was only 1 and it was this one. I was looking for a slim, small, light weight pc with plenty of power and this is certainly it. Long battery life and very usable. Keyboard is easy to use, adjustable lighting for different situations, excellent. Using flex to attach to my phone gives me cross equipment capabilities that I enjoy and use often. I have had this for a little over a month and have had zero regrets. BB even matched the sale price that kicked in after my purchase so happy with purchasing it at Best Buy too!

MUST READ BEFORE PURCHASE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having a Mac for 8 years I finally decided to give Windows another chance, and with the manufacturers available I trust Samsung most. If you don’t care about light bleed when the screen is dark then you’ll be pleased with the screen because I’ve never seen a laptop display at 1080p look that good. So…. First issue you’ll want to look for when you purchase this device is screen bleed. For me it was a big issue so I returned it and got another unit. Second thing is the speakers are beyond awful. It sounds like a kindle fire trying to do its best to play audio. If you use headphones like 99% of people using their laptops or phones You’re good. So seeing that I bought this for productivity I have to say this is the first time I’ve used a Windows laptop and grinned. I’m not sure what has happened since 2012 when I swore off Windows but it is phenomenal. With the 16gb of ram I was able to open 10 1080p vid tabs and 2 4k vids all playing at the same time and it didn’t even hiccup. I was also surprised with a $750 price tag (student deal) the features of the laptop. I was browsing other computers with similar specifications and am confused why someone would spend an extra $500-$600 on something similar (the more “premium?” Samsung 2/1” Another appealing aspect to my purchase was the fact it has a micro sd card slot. I am a heavy user and Apple wanted Well over $2600 just for a MacBook Pro with 2tb of storage. The option to purchase a 1tb sd card for $170 was enough of a deciding factor for me. So in conclusion, if you want something sleek, fast, and nice to look at this is for you. Oh and it has a finger print sensor. Didn’t even know before purchase but it’s excellent.

Powerful laptop with speed galore
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop after looking at several different Windows 11 alternatives including Surface Laptops. I had one of the original Surface laptops from 2017 and it was time to upgrade. This beauty kept popping up so I finally went in and bought it. Very happy with my purchase with a couple of minor complaints. First and this has been discussed in the Q&A, the backlighting doesn't stay on unless you cover up the sensor next to the blue power light on the left hand side of the laptop. The fix is simple; I took a black magic marker and colored a VERY small piece of paper and taped it over the sensor. Worked like a charm! The second minor complaint is the keyboard keys are very light; hence the need for backlighting. Not a problem in well-lit rooms but it can be a challenge in spaces where light is at a premium. The laptop comes with Windows 11 Home but I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro for the security. Having 16MB of RAM makes it so easy to run multiple programs and conduct Zoom calls while running Powerpoint. This laptop is blazing fast and responsive. The trackpad is quite sensitive but you can adjust the sensitivity in the settings. There's no bloatware to speak of and setup is a breeze. If you backup your files to OneDrive, you'll be up and running in less than five minutes. The screen is vivid and crisp. To be expected with Samsung products. Intel graphics engine makes creating brochures or presentations easy and swift. I have found my productivity increasing by 65% over the past two weeks. This is a must buy for anyone seeking a small lightweight laptop that possesses all the attributes of a powerful desktop.

Great Laptop at a wonderful price!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is great. I returned several laptops before this purchase. The keyboard is smaller but it is very easy to type. The touch is lightening quick. The colors on this laptop are so crisp and brilliant. The speed is what I have been wanting with no more watching the sprocket spin before moving to the next page. The charge last all day. The storage is more than I will use for a while. This laptop is what you need for business or even personal use.

Put this great laptop on your list to consider
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the odd name, the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha impresses as close to the windows laptop that Apple might make--if it made windows laptops! It's a very strong device and even if you don't think of Samsung as a top laptop maker to rival Dell, HP, and Lenovo--you really should put this model in your list if you are shopping for top-of-the-line Windows machines. Given Samsung's experience in making big-screen TVs and display panels, you would expect this laptop to have a great screen, and it does--with plenty of brightness, razor-sharp detail, and good color rendition. This model with its current iterations of the Intel i7 processor and iris xe graphics, runs Windows 11 with no problem at all. The backlit keyboard has a great feel and all the ports you could want are available, including high-speed USB-A, a single USB-C, and even an HDMI port. A built-in micro SD card reader is a nice bonus as well. The single biggest complaint I have about this laptop is that it does not allow for charging via the USB-C port and thus requires a Samsung power cord with a small-ish brick and an odd single-pin-style connector. That is a major demerit in 2021, but it really is the single significant flaw in an otherwise great laptop--especially if you can find it on sale at Best Buy.

This is thin, light and powerful laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll make this brief. Likes: Very light The touchpad is much nicer than the one on my Surface Pro Keyboard is nice too. I have no complaints abut the right shift key being too small Very fast (i7 and 16 gb ram is great) The fingerprint reader is great. Much faster than face ID or typing in a pin Plenty of room on my 512 gb hard drive plus I plugged the 1 tb micro SD from my old Surface Pro into the micro SD slot in this compter so I have 1.5 gb storage and all my files transfered over with the SD card I like that when I open the lid of the laptop I am able to use the fingerprint reader and be at the windows desktop in a couple of seconds Things that could use improvement There is nothing that I dislike about this laptop but there are a couple of things I would change if I could. I miss the magnetic charging cable of the surface pro. The power supply for the Flex 2 has a small round connector. I have to tip the laptop up the see the opening for the connector. Also at some point I am going to catch the cable with my foot and I hope it doesn't damage the charging port. Battery life- I haven done my own official life test but I think it might make it close to 8 hours if I am using Word and Chrome Samsung loads a lot of their own apps on the computer which I have yet to even open much less use Best Buy had a one day sale so I got a great price on this laptop which makes it even better

Cheap but Wonderful
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a HP Desktop, an iPad (with keyboard), and of course my cellphone, so what's the need of a laptop? My desktop has amazing capabilities and power but is limited to the desk. My tablet is very mobile and light weight, but the screen is small and the experience equally as unsatisfying. I enjoy the fact that the tablet has data so I can use on the road, but again, it comes with many compromises. As for my phone, it serves it purpose for calls, google searches, listening to music and podcasts, watching videos on Youtube, playing games, etc. However, it lacks a keyboard to communicate effectively and quickly. In addition, the screen size comes with even more compromises than my tablet. I finally justified spending money on a laptop, but now comes the next problem... there are so many options, not to mention what price tag am I willing pay? Naturally, I am cheap when it comes to spending money on myself. I decided that I wanted a laptop that was Samsung brand which would match most devices in my house, with a Core i7 or greater, Ram: 16GB or greater, and 256GB SSD or greater, 2 in1 Tablet/Laptop, touch screen, and backlite keyboard. I wanted all of this for less than $1,200.00 - original price. The search results were limited, but I'm cheap remember, I wanted to save money so I searched for Open-Box items - Excellent Condition. The results got even more limited. Then I saw this lovely device which met all my expectations and in Excellent Condition brought the original price from $1050.00 down to $640.00. Luckily, I had $260.00 in certificates and paid a mere $400.00 - tax exempt of course! For such a low price I thought this product was going to be quite basic. Trust me, this product is fabulous! It is fast, light weight, battery life is long, and the screen resolution is beautiful. The only drawback is the speaker's kind of suck - really suck. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who is on a similar budget with high-ish expectations lol.
