I had it for almos ta month now and thought I would share my thoughts using it. First and most negative. -The fan noise has somewhat high pitch notes. Having held ASUS Zephurys g14, I gotta say, on hoghest speed ASUS fans are nearly silent with a pleasant sound of wind and no high pitch noise. And it is not really bad, I owned Lenovo Yoga for 4 years and its small fan has a variation of noise that some would find annoying. If you are getting this laptop, use it in a quiet room for few hours, performance mode and quiet as well. Then you can decide if this noise is something that is acceptable for you. Next. -It activates NVIDIA dedicated GPU when some apps, in my case Epic Game Store, is open. What does it mean? It means that it will work as if you were playign a heavy AAA game that needs a lot of power. 2 hours is what I achieved while rtx 4050 in this model being enable. What can you do about this problem? Exit Epic app. The green gpu icon in system tray goes gray when NVIDIA gpu is inactive. With it off, this laptop will last 4-6 hours depending on screen brightness and apps used (do not use Chrome on battery usage). Now the positives. I love OLED screen, it is beautiful in games and movies. Sound, battery, they are of appropriately high quality. It can do games, rtx 4050 is ok on medium settings with most games without DLSS and a bit better where it is implemented. It is a beautiful business laptop that also can be used for casual gaming. 3k oled screen, fast current gen CPU and an entry level dedicated graphics from Nvidia. You can get a much cheaper strictly gaming laptop, you can get a much cheaper business laptop without dedicated GPU, but if you decided you need both, it could be a good choice for you.

You're not going to find a laptop with these specs in such a small unit with an OLED screen. It's not advertised as a gaming laptop but you can certainly game on it. Video editing is a breeze. It's everything I've wanted in a laptop. I've owned laptops in small form factors in the past but those were very limited (no gaming) also I've oned an Alienware gaming laptop but portability was a hassle even the powerbrick lived up to It's name becauae it was the size of a brick. With the Book3 Ultra you get the poower and portability. Does it game as well as my Alienware? No but it's close enough. Also if I wanna do hardcore gaming i have a desktop that can handle that. If you're in the market for a great all around laptop with portability you can't go wrong with this laptop and you won't find a more beautiful screen on any laptop currently on the market!

I had the original Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 and wanted to upgrade to the latest model of the Galaxy Book Pro. The Ultra is just beyond. This does NOT have a touchscreen. This does NOT have a 360 Flipable hinge. If this is a must - go get the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360. What you gain is a more solid build and a RTX 4050. Everything about this laptop is Ultra. The display - insane. The dimensions of the Laptop is taller and working is a lot easier. The speakers - insane. Way louder than the 360 and I don't even need to use my external speaker. Performance. Awesome. I haven't installed any games yet, but everything I've had to do so far, the Book3 Ultra does it with ease.

Good laptop for schoolwork or watching movies/shows. Fan can be a bit loud when charging but that's to be expected. Can also run games really well mostly the lightweight ones not anything too heavy or ill drain your battery quick.

When the dedicated graphic card is not in use, it consumes 0 W power. This is a very outstanding function in 2023. This function made this laptop the first one with both RTX graphic card and EVO certification (as far as I know). Almost all other laptops with dedicated graphic card consumes extra power (~7 W) when it is idle. Asus and Lenovo do have an function that can fully turn the dedicated graphic card off by ejecting it (Lenovo legion), but restart is required to have it back in. the 2023 XPS15 may have the same function since it is also EVO certified but I am not sure.

10/10 for style and power, 3/10 for trackpad issues. If you can live with an inaccurate unresponsive trackpad then buy it openbox, otherwise buy something else or wait till the 2024 model comes out. So close! Do better samsung!

The Samsung Book3 Ultra Laptop is a high-end laptop that packs powerful hardware in a very sleek and stylish design. The laptop I tested out features a 16-inch WQXGA AMOLED 3K display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 and dynamic 120Hz refresh rate paired with the Nvidia RTX 4050, which delivers sharp and absolutely amazing visuals. Under the hood, the Samsung Book3 Ultra is powered by a 13th Gen Evo Core i7-13700H processor, which delivers superior performance. The processor is paired with 16GB of DDR5, which ensures smooth multitasking, pure performance, and an amazing gaming experience. The laptop also comes with 1TB SSD, which provides ample storage space for all your files, documents, and any of your multimedia content. So, let’s go over the specs and features, PROS and CONS of the new Samsung Book3 Ultra. Unboxing and Specs: • Laptop • USB-C Charging Cable and 100W Power Brick • Windows 11 • Intel Core i7-13700H Processor • 16” WQXGA + AMOLED 3K display (2880 x 1800) • 1TB SSD • Nvidia RTX 4050 • Intel 802.11 AX • 4 AKG Quad Speakers (Woofer Max 5 W x 2, Tweeter 2W x 2) Dolby Atmos • Full HD (1080p) Front Facing Camera • 13.9 x 9.8 x 0.6 inches • 3.9 pounds One of the standout features for this laptop for me is the design. This is probably the thinnest, lightweight and probably one of the quietest gaming laptop that I have used. This laptop has a slim and lightweight build, making it easy to carry around with you wherever you go. The laptop also has a premium feel, thanks to its aluminum finish and graphite color, which adds a touch of sophistication to the overall design. The laptop also features the probably the thinnest display that I have seen so far. In terms of connectivity, The Samsung Book3 Ultra Laptop comes with a range of ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB port, Headphone and Microphone Jack in one, SD card, and HDMI 2.0 port, Bluetooth and WIFI along with Samsung Suite of application to easy connect to your Samsung or Andriod device. The laptop boasts a 17-hour battery life on optimal settings and about 4.5 hours on performance mode or while your gaming, but I would highly recommend using the charger while you’re gaming. The laptop also features a full keyboard along with a rather large touchpad. Let’s talk about performance, The Samsung Book3 Ultra is packed with power. The configuration that I tested performed flawlessly, but if you desire more, you can always upgrade to the i9 along with 32GB of ram and the RTX 4070. I have been putting this laptop through its paces for about a week now and all I can say is that is an absolute powerhouse. This laptop can take pretty much anything you throw its way. I have been gaming (MW2, Forza Horizon), multimedia creation, watching movies, and even connecting my Samsung Galaxy phone to the laptop for easy share and control features. The display on this Book3 Ultra is just absolutely amazing, the colors are bright and punchy and just make doing anything on this laptop an absolute treat. One interesting feature on this laptop was the Samsung Suite of applications. The applications allow for better productivity by seamlessly connecting your Samsung Galaxy Phone to the laptop, allowing the user to instantaneously transfer multimedia files from phone to PC and vice versa, allowing your phone apps to work on your PC, answering phone calls and text messages right own your laptop, and the ability to use your laptop mouse and keyboard on your phone. One cool feature, which unfortunately I was not able to test out is the ability to use your Samsung tablet as a second display. This laptop is perfect for someone with a Samsung Ecosystem such as myself because I was easily able to connect all my devices and even my appliances to this laptop with ease with Samsung Smarthings application. While I enjoyed pretty much everything on this laptop there were a few things that did bother me a bit. First of all, the extremely large track pad. Because the trackpad so large that the heel of your palm end up on the trackpad and you end up inaccurate inputs. It also gets a bit tricky trying to locate the left click button also the trackpad is not centered as it is on most other laptops. The second issue that I have is the keyboard layout. Even though I love the fact they include a full keyboard with the numerical pad on this laptop, but because of that your hands are not centered and are off slightly to the left and you end up pressing the wrong keys until you get used to the keyboard. PROS: • POWERHOUSE • AMAZING DISPLAY • DESIGN – ULTRA THIN DISPLAY • LIGHTWEIGHT • SAMUNG SUITE APPS – SECOND SCREEN, MULTI-CONTROL AND • VARIETY OF PORTS • QUIET COOLING • GREAT FOR MULTITASKING – GAMING, CONTENT CREATING EVEN WATHCING MOVIES CONS: • EXTREMLY LARGE TRACKPAD • KEYBOARD LAYOUT Overall, the Samsung Book3 Ultra Laptop is a device that delivers fast performance, ample storage space, sleek design and an amazing display. It's an excellent choice for people who need a powerful and portable device for both work and pleasure.

    Beautiful laptop that needs tweaking

Overall, I think the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is a solid laptop, but unfortunately I believe there are some kinks that Samsung should address for the next iteration of it’s beautiful machine. Unboxing the machine, it’s clear that the packaging holds a premium product. Setting everything up was quick and simple. Just login to your Windows and Samsung accounts and you’re off and running. It’s components are great, and you won’t question the power the Ultra 3 can spit out. Doing video and photo editing was snappy, and the Samsung M.2 SSD that comes with the Ultra 3 is blazing fast (speeds around 6700MBps read and write was mine). The 60W RTX 4050 inside also packs a surprising punch for gaming at 1080p. Don’t expect to play AAA games at 3K resolution, but the GPU is fantastic for such a slim and light machine. One massive caveat about performance though: the Ultra 3 cannot access it’s full power when not connected plugged in to a power source. This is a huge problem for my use case as well. If I’m spending a solid amount of money on a professionally oriented laptop, I want the full power accessible wherever I take it. This is one of the biggest issues and why I couldn’t recommend this to anyone who actually works on the go. That said, I also wish the RAM was user upgradable. 16GB is adequate for today’s usage, but down the road it may not be the case. I know you can buy a beefier variant for extra money, but when you start to get into the $3000 range you’re looking at so many premium options that may provide better overall value. It’s nice, though, that you can add an extra M.2 SSD onto the motherboard. Now, about that screen: it’s brilliant. The 3K OLED display is beautiful, and the 120hz refresh rate makes everything smoother. Color accuracy is top notch, and this is something Samsung seems to have perfected. I/O overall is fine, but is a bust as a professional photographer. The idea that this is aimed squarely at the MacBook Pro professional gang and doesn’t include a full size SD card slot is very odd. Also, it’s intriguing that Samsung only put in an HDMI 2.0 port rather than the newer 2.1 standard. It’s also quite annoying that there are USB-C ports on only one side of the laptop. That also seems like a misstep and something that needs to be corrected for version 4. The keyboard could use some tweaking as well. The keys and backlighting are solid, but after a bit of typing they all felt “rubbery” and mushy. I actually like the implementation of the numpad, but for most people this probably is something that should be removed moving forward. Below the keyboard you find the trackpad which is a great one for any Windows-based laptop. It’s big, though, and sometimes I found the offset placement would result in some misclicks from my hands resting on the sides of the laptop. Speaking of sides, the speaker location is interesting. The AKG-tuned speakers are on the sides and fire downwards, with the intention of reflecting the sound back onto you and upwards. In theory, this sounds like a good idea, but the reality is the speakers sound muffled if you’re sitting anywhere that’s not flat. The AKG speakers are adequate for a laptop this size, but overall there’s little bass and fullness. I’m sure this isn’t a concern to most, but it’s something to note as the laptop it’s pitted against has the best speakers around. Another area that Samsung has implemented well and works great is Samsung Flow and Samsung Link. This is the Samsung ecosystem for Android devices, and it's great. Using your phone to scroll through screens on the laptop was perfect, and everything worked without any hiccups. It's nice to see another true ecosystem that's usable to rival Apples as that used to be the only true one out there. So, after getting through all that, my other bigger gripe is battery life. No, I’m not expecting Apple level of power management, but my Ultra 3 seems to average 4 hours of battery, even with standard usage. This is also a problem, as there’s probably no way to leave the house and get a half workday of work done without plugging in. Charging is fast, which is appreciated, but Samsung needs to figure out battery life for the next version. The bottom line of the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is that it’s an extremely beautiful, well built machine that is extra portable due to its weight and packs a punch performance wise. However, the day-to-day usage is a problem, especially since the battery is lackluster. Some of the issues could be forgiven if you could access the full power of the laptop while off a charger, but that’s not the case. I think this is a good platform to build off of for next year, but Samsung ultimately swung and missed with the Ultra 3.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra laptop is thoroughly impressive! It offers a lot of features and power for its size. Its excellent build quality and compact design make it a great choice for anyone who needs a powerful computer that is also portable making it a great option for anyone looking to work, create content, or game! One of the standout features of the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra is its exceptionally fast performance. This is due in part to the dedicated RTX 4050 graphics card, which is impressive considering the laptop's small size. The laptop also boasts an eye-watering 120Hz, HDR, 16” 3K 16:10 display, making it a pleasure to use for both work and play. I was able to run both the Sims 4 and Baldur’s Gate 3 on Ultra settings with frame rates hovering around 45 FPS. Despite its powerful hardware, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra weighs less than 4 pounds, which is impressive considering the amount of power that is packed inside. The laptop also has solid battery life, particularly in conference calls, and the crisp webcam makes it ideal for video conferencing. My previous laptop with no dedicated graphics card, a lower resolution webcam, and a smaller display lasted significantly less during virtual game nights with friends. The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra also has an expansive port selection, making it easy to connect all your needed devices. It also has excellent connectivity with other Samsung devices, which is great for users who are already invested in the Samsung ecosystem. Being able to Samsung Quick Share photos and documents back and forth with the push of a button is amazing! I am definitely considering purchasing a Samsung tablet as it can act as an external monitor. Having a Samsung phone (or a few other non Samsung devices) allows you to also pull up your phone’s apps directly on the Ultra along with other Windows features that allow you to text and call through the Your Phone app. Additionally, the laptop has excellent audio quality, and the solid keyboard with good travel makes typing a breeze. There are some cons to consider. One is that the connectivity features are limited to Samsung devices and some Microsoft phones, which may be a drawback for users who don't use these devices. Additionally, the speakers get loud but leave something to be desired in terms of quality. The laptop is also a bit of a fingerprint magnet, and the trackpad can get in the way of typing occasionally due to its large size. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra is an excellent laptop that offers a lot of power and features in a small, portable package. The few cons it has are definitely not deal breakers and its many strengths make it a solid choice for anyone in the market for a new powerhouse laptop that can do it all. Pros: Excellent build quality Exceptionally fast Dedicated graphics card in small body Dynamic 120Hz, HDR, gorgeous 16” display you come to expect from Samsung A beast of a computer that still weigh less than 4 pounds Solid battery life (especially in conference calls) Crisp webcam Expansive port selection! Amazing connectivity with other Samsung devices Excellent audio quality Solid keyboard with good travel Cons: Wish the connectivity features weren’t limited to Samsung devices and some Microsoft phones Speakers get loud but quality leaves something to be desired Tad bit of a fingerprint magnet Trackpad is so large that it can get in the way of typing occasionally

----- SUMMARY ----- Verdict: If you’re looking for a premium laptop with performance that supports just about anything you throw at it, the Galaxy Book3 Ultra should be at the top of your list. This is especially true if you’re a Samsung smartphone or tablet user. The all-around excellence of the Galaxy Book3 Ultra makes it a joy to use for productivity or play. Pros: - Stunning display - Powerful performance - Elegant design and solid build - Excellent keyboard and touchpad - Seamless integration with Samsung devices - Good selection of ports - Solid built-in webcam and mics Cons: - Average battery life - Collects fingerprints easily ----- DETAILS ----- Design: The Galaxy Book3 Ultra has a metal body that gives it a premium look and feel. It’s heavier than the sleek design makes it seem, but for laptops in its class, the size and weight are comparable. I like the “Graphite” finish, and when you get your hands on this laptop, the build quality is apparent. My only complaint with the design is that it collects fingerprints pretty easily. Typing on the keyboard is a comfortable experience, thanks to the well-spaced keys. Having the numeric keypad on the right is nice, and it doesn’t make the other keys too cramped. The touchpad is massive, which makes it easy to navigate, scroll, and make precise clicks. Despite its size, I don’t find myself accidentally touching it. As for the ports, there are a pair of USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 ports and an HDMI port on the left side. On the right, there’s a microSD card slot, USB-A port, and a headphone jack. I was especially happy that Samsung included an HDMI port so that I can easily connect to an external monitor. The Galaxy Book3 Ultra is a portable powerhouse that can act as a desktop too. The HDMI port makes the transition easy. If I want to game on a larger display, having that HDMI port comes in handy for that as well. To round out my comments on the design, there’s a 1080p webcam that produces a clear image in a variety of lighting conditions. The built-in microphones are clear as well, so the Galaxy Book3 Ultra is great for videoconferencing. Display: Love at first sight. That’s how I’d describe the Galaxy Book3 Ultra’s 3K AMOLED display. It’s big, bright, and vivid. The thin bezels and 16” size make it immersive. Whether I’m watching videos or playing games, the level of detail and colors look stunning. The 120Hz refresh rate is the icing on the cake. Performance: Overall performance on the Galaxy Book3 Ultra is exceptional. I’ve pushed it to its productivity limits with numerous browser tabs and several applications running at once. My test scenarios involved way more than I would ever really be trying to run at one time, and it never faltered. Gaming on the Galaxy Book3 Ultra is phenomenal as well. Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto V, and Halo Infinite run flawlessly with frame rates consistently in the 50s. Though the Galaxy Book3 Ultra isn’t marketed as a gaming laptop, its performance matches many on the market. The Galaxy Book3 Ultra has proven to me that it’s the ultimate laptop for productivity or play. Features: The Galaxy Book3 Ultra works seamlessly with Samsung devices. I particularly enjoy Quick Share, Private Share, and Multi-Control. The Quick Share feature allows me to easily transfer full-resolution photos and videos and other files from my S23 Ultra phone. A 4K video transfers impressively fast for easy editing on the Galaxy Book3 Ultra. Private Share provides a little extra control by encrypting the files and allowing me to set specific permissions. Multi Control allows me to share the mouse or keyboard with my phone, which is awesome for multitasking. I can drag and drop, copy and paste, or type on either device. If you have a Galaxy Tab, it can be used as a second screen. Another honorable mention is the Samsung Notes app. I like to take handwritten or typed notes on my S23 Ultra, and those are readily available on the Galaxy Book3 Ultra. Samsung has put a lot of effort into its product ecosystem. That’s especially apparent with a Galaxy Book3 Ultra paired with a Samsung phone. Battery Life: I get around nine hours of battery life when I use the Galaxy Book3 Ultra for productivity. On an average day, I mostly use browser-based services, the Microsoft suite of programs, and run Spotify in the background. I like to get the most out of the stunning display, so I usually have the brightness at a medium to a high level and set the refresh rate to always run at 120Hz. Using a lower brightness and the dynamic refresh rate can add about an hour to the battery life. Maxing out around ten hours of battery life is just average, compared to the competition in this laptop class. ----- WHAT’S IN THE BOX ----- 1 x Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra 16" 3K AMOLED Laptop 1 x USB Type-C Cable 1 x Power Adapter 1 x User Manual 1 x Warranty Card

I have been looking for a sleek laptop that is light, powerful to play light games, with low energy consumption. The Book 3 Ultra checks the boxes for me. Pros: 1) Build quality is phenomenal. It uses aluminum all around with smooth matte surface. Better than any other Windows laptop in my opinion. 2) Fantastic 16-inch, 16:10, Dynamic AMOLED2x display with excellent blacks and fast response times. It has around a 100% color coverage for P3, sRGB, and AdobeRGB. Brightness is around 400 nits. The display is well calibrated with four color options: Vivid, Natural (sRGB), Photo Editing (Adobe RGB), and Movie (DCI-P3). There is also an auto mode option that switches between the profiles depending on which application you are using. 3) Wifi is great. It uses an Intel AX211 chip with WiFi 6E support. No packet loss during gaming, signal is solid, and I get the full speed for my internet. This was all done few walls away from the router. 4) Webcam and mic are good. People told me that my voice was crystal clear during meetings and the 2.1MP 1920x1080 webcam was good enough. No speaker echo and noise cancelling was great. 5) SSD can be upgraded. There are two PCIe 4, M.2-2280 SSD slots. 6) Touchpad is large and is pleasant to use, some people reported a response delay in the touchpad with some stuttering or skipping. I have noticed that too, but it got a lot better in the recent updates. Keyboard has short travel with three-stage backlight. Key resistance is good and responds very well to clicks. 7) Performance is fantastic, but keep in mind that the CPU and GPU are underclocked, still, performance is more than enough. Samsung has three power modes: High performance, Optimized, and Quiet. Keep in mind that these profiles override the Windows one. I have been using the optimized setting. Great performance, dead silent. Laptop barely makes any noise when playing CSGO at max settings with 120+ FPS. The higher performance mode will increase the wattage delivered to the CPU and GPU. There is a performance jump, and the fans will be louder. 8) Speakers produce very good sound, but bass could be a bit better, It is plenty loud. Make sure you enable Dolby Atoms. 9) The 100 watt charger is very slim and portable. A lot of people will appreciate this. 10) Battery life is good. I usually average around 7-8 hours of moderate use. Could probably hit the 10 hours with light use. 11) Integrate really well with the Galaxy phones. My favorite feature is the Quick Share (Similar to Air Drop). Cons: 1) A little finger print magnet, at least on the graphite finish. 2) Display is reflective and has some flickering at a frequency of 240 Hz at any brightness level. It is subjective, it didn't bother me, but could be a bothersome for some. 3) Ram is soldered, no upgradability option. Bottom cover can be hard to remove, so exercise caution! 4) HDMI 2.0. It would have been nice to see HDMI 2.1 instead, especially at this price point. You can still use the Thunderbolt port with an adapter to get HDMI 2.1 if that is something you need. Something that might seem a bit odd, the HDMI port on this laptop delivers really crisp picture. I might be going a bit crazy, but the colors and response time on my 50-inch Sharp TV was so much better than using the HDMI 2.1 on my Lenovo Legion 5 Slim.

I was lucky enough to find this notebook in the open box section, excellent certified status, as good as new. It is solid, excellent quality, beautiful design, and seems to be like a new generation apple book pro. It is almost like a gaming notebook, I chose it due to the RTX 4050 studio video card and 13th gen I7 processor. I use it with my MS flight simulator 2020, and flows smoothly. The battery lasts long enough (between 5 to 8 hours without using NVIDIA card), it seems that the Best buy website has something wrong as it states 17hrs of battery life, which I don’t think is accurate. The 2x AMOLED screen is amazing! Sound is good enough, though all the speakers are under the body. It would be better to be able to upgrade the RAM, but unfortunately this notebook comes as it is. If you choose the model that comes with 16GB it will stay like that forever, so be aware and choose the “bigger brother” if you need 32gb Also, it would be nice to have touch screen and face ID/IR camera. Anyway I LOVE this notebook, so I would recommend it!

When it comes to laptop’s the way I judge them is with the build, types of components used, laptop specific programs (especially this being windows based), battery life and future proofing. And as the name suggest this laptop is Ultra in just about every respect. Build: The laptop is ridiculously thin when you take into account it has a 16 inch screen along with a full number pad. There is little to no bend/flex anywhere in the laptop and the hinge has a nice solid feel which you can lift with one finger (after having it open and closed 15 times). Now it being 16 Inch laptop this is a big laptop, however even with it being a big laptop it is not bulky especially when take into account this has a 4050 inside just a small chassis and the trackpad being off centered may look a bit wonky but it does not affect the way you type. Components: Samsung has used the absolute top on the line components when it comes to this laptop. The screen is gorgeous and as anyone that has used a Oled screen will tell you there is no comparison. The brightness is in the low 400 nits (I tested at roughly 408) however when it comes to Oled screens the contrast is what makes everything stand out and the contrast on the Ultra is perfect. The screen isn’t a matte screen so you do get a lot of reflections on it but even with that this is by far the best screen on any laptop ever. Anyone that I have shown the laptop to can’t get over how gorgeous the screen is and this coupled with the fact that it is a very color accurate screen make it that much better. Samsung has used the top end Intel chip set for mobile processors along with the wifi card which uses wifi 6E. Now I can ramble off numbers of NVMe speeds and how fast the wifi card is but they are as described. The webcam is a nice upgrade and shows true to life colors for video calls. The speakers on the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra speakers offer great Dolby Atmos affects , while the lows are almost non-existent the mids and highs are great, but to receive good sound you HAVE to turn on the Dolby processing otherwise the sound is horrible. The CPU and GPU are class leading and can handle anything you throw at them. I ran the newest age of empires on it for an hour and there was no studder/jitter and the laptops thermals held up great, I could actually use it on my lap even. Specific programs: The Galaxy book 3 ultra is packed with programs which have a tight integration with android or Iphone to be able to answer calls and text directly from the laptop but if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone/Galaxy tablet the integration is even better. The built in Samsung apps (second screen/quick share/gallery/ Samsung pass/Samsung photos/videos and smartthings) work great and make the laptop work as an extension of your phone. The smartthings integration is such a plus since all new IOT setups are going to work with one another and smartthings is matter compatible so you can control all connected devices on your home network. I think of the best things I enjoyed was the Samsung pass which transfers save passwords from my phone to laptop. Battery life: The laptop does surprisingly well when just web browsing/watching videos. I was able to get 10+ hours easy (brightness at 50%). When it comes to gaming it did as well as a laptop will with a 4050 GPU however it was able to run the game on high/ultra settings. The standby time for the laptop is ridiculous, I have let it sit for 2 days and came back to the battery being just 5% down and the instant wake feature FINALLY works for a windows machine. Future Proofing: There is nothing in the laptop that can be upgraded, the only thing that can be added is a extra NVMe harddive. This is one of few things where the laptop falls short , regardless of how many other laptop makers are doing the same. Overall the laptop is great in just about every aspect from the fingerprint login to the amazing screen and great audio. The batter life and standby/wake up times is similar to todays smart phones. The only thing that I wish Samsung would have done better is with duplicate apps (Intel Unison/Phone link). I wish they had taken more of a locked down approach to what applications were allowed out of the box. Besides that the laptop handles just about any program/game you can through at it without slowing down and the difference in performance on and of battery is less than 10% which makes this a desktop replacement product for a majority of people.

I chose the laptop going from being a Mac user to needing Windows operation for work. The display and design are beautiful and the screen glare/movement others mention hasn't bothered me at all. My nitpicks are: - it feels a little more hollow in comparison to macbook - the trackpad can be a bit finicky especially since its offset with the keyboard instead of centered, i often right click when I mean to left click (i use a mouse now) - the speakers on the bottom really kills sound quality but its loud which is good - battery is on the lower side Besides that, I really like the product; I think it was the best choice for mac lovers and for people who do heavier creative work.
