One of the better laptop's I've used in the past 10 years. Even though it is a metal casing, I have not had any skin reactions to using it (with both nickel and cobalt allergies). Someone has mentioned that scratching it could cause contact to one of these metals, but as long as you take care of your electronics, this should not be an issue.

The computer is actually really good and I appreciate the Best Buy service. The only reason I had to return it is because Samsung was giving a very good student discount on book 4 ultra with only ~$120 extra so getting that instead sounds fair

Ordered this laptop. It was delivered and when opened the power cord was missing. Went to the store and the power cord was replaced without problems.

I'm a design student, laptop is overall ok. I was just disappointed that it kept crashing when using animation apps like After Effects. Overall good laptop if you don't run heavy programs on it.

If you use Samsung products, like galaxy phones, smart tv, watches, earbuds then this should be included in your Samsung environment. I love the Samsung Galaxy Book.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is expands Samsung's "Ultra" line to its laptops. Like another company that makes premium laptops and phones, Samsung is trying to create it's own ecosystem. The unboxing experience is not unlike its direct competitor. It doesn't come in a boring brown box. It comes in a sleek white box that clearly paid attention to the unboxing experience. The laptop itself is so sleek and stylish. It sure looks pretty! The first thing that I was surprised about was the weight. It really is so lightweight compared to what I was expecting. I thought given how jam-packed the specs were, it would be heavier. It's less than 4 lbs! Opening the laptop, the display is gorgeous with the 3K AMOLED. I will say, one thing that I took a little getting used to was the keyboard and trackpad. The keyboard includes a number pad so you do have to shift your hands away from the center of the laptop to the left when you type. I really think they could have done without the number pad. With this shift in the keyboard comes the shift in the trackpad as well to the left. This was kind of off-putting at first as well. It also doesn't visually satisfy you as much as your brain tends to like symmetry. That being said, you do get used to it! In terms of performance, you can read all about the specs with the Intel core i7, 16 GB RAM, the RTX 4050. It is jam-packed. Now I do think the 16 GB was a mistake. For creators, gamers, etc., you want at least 32 GB especially at this price point and what you are competing against. The RTX 4050 is great but you have to expect that it won't be as powerful as in a proper gaming laptop as the power delivery is a little lower. That being said, for basic video editing, content creation, casual gaming, I was more than happy. Unfortunately, the battery life takes a hit with all of these things. Just web-browsing and streaming videos, I was only able to get 7-8 hours. Other demanding tasks would drain the battery like crazy. That is the downside of not being ARM-based I suppose. With Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets, you can transfer files quickly, answer calls, write texts, and even use them as second displays. This might sound very familiar to you. I will say that I had a fun time taking advantage of these things. With Quick Share, I really can transfer files easily. It is much more efficient than emailing them to yourself. You can even encrypt them which in my line of work is necessary. The Galaxy Book 3 clearly is a more attractive option if you have multiple Samsung gadgets. The utility of the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra does go down a little bit if you do not have Samsung devices. Then, it is just a pretty and powerful Windows laptop which does have some competition. All in all, this is a great Windows laptop. I think the keyboard layout with the number pad and the track pad being shifted to the left takes some getting used to. The performance is great. If you have other Samsung Galaxy devices, you can take advantage of the connectivity between them. The battery life is a little short. I think if you have the budget, this needs to be on the short list of premium laptops.

Everything about this laptop is good except the Price point. I can't justify spending so much on a laptop with only 16GB of ram in 2023. Plus, it's capped at only 100 watts when UCB-C can go up to 130Watts.

Great laptop for our daughter who is a freshman in college. Having a MacBook previously and a Chromebook in high school she took to this one great.
