Bad Experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item while it was on sale. Within an hour of the purchase they canceled the sale. I got my refund a week later, went online to see if there were any other good deals only to find the same computer still listed and on greater sale. I would have liked to have the computer, just not sure why they would keep increasing the sale price (as in going lower) when the product was unavailable.

Very delicate and very less volume. Scratches
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Size and visuals are good. But the screen is very delicate. It gets cracks so easily. Volume is pathetic. My worst decision to compromise on steadiness and volume.

Beware of Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beware of Best Buy. I purchased this during an annual sale, and just 2 weeks later it was $100 cheaper. Their return policy and price match policy has a 15 day limit (much lower than any other retaielr), and I've been out of town for 9 of those days. On the 16th day, they won't offer a price match at al.

Premium 2 in 1 laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Design: The first thing I noticed after unboxing was how thin it was. Especially the display. The entire laptop is metal and feels very premium. The color is a light grey. Its lighter than the picture make it seem, especially under light. Also it does not show finger prints like some of the darker grey colors do which is appreciated. It has a very sleek design that is both stylish and professional looking. Well done! Specs: Lets get the basic specs out of the way. 15.6" 1080p 60Hz OLED display Intel Core 7 processor 16gb of DDR5 RAM Intel iGPU 512gb SSD storage Display: Coming from a 14" laptop the display on this thing is big and beautiful. This laptop comes with a 15.6 inch FHD 16:9 OLED display. It only has a 60Hz refresh though. The display is sharp and clear, with great contrast and vibrant colors. Its glossy and supports touch. It also gets bright enough to the point I dont need to set to to max brightness. Overall the display really does look stunning. Its a 2 in 1 so it completely folds over to go into tablet mode. The display also supports the Samsung S-Pen but this specific model does NOT come with one. You would have to purchase it separately or get the pro model which does include it in the box. Sad to see that since it already includes all the apps for it. Keyboard/Touch Pad: The keyboard reminds me of a Macbook. It feels responsive and is easy to type on. They keys themselves do not have a lot of play in them. They respond almost immediately after you press which makes them very fast to type on. Note that since this is a larger sized laptop there is also a number pad on the right side. With that said it does throw the touchpad off center a little bit but that expected. The touchpad works well and is on the larger side of things. There is also a Copilot dedicated key to trigger the Windows built in AI. The keyboard is backlit and has 3 levels of brightness. It gets pretty bright on highest setting. It has a HD webcam but the webcam doesn't support Windows Hello so you cant not use it to unlock the laptop. Instead the power button doubles as a fingerprint reader. Based on my experience so far I've had no issues with it reading my fingerprints to unlock. It works well but I would prefer to use facial recognition with the camera. Sound: Speakers sound average for a laptop in this price range. Nothing to awe about here. They are located at the bottom of the laptop. Performance: This specific model comes with an Intel Core 7 processor, the non-ultra version. With hyper-threading the count comes out to be 12 threads. The 16GB of DDR5 RAM can handle multitasking with ease. Everything loads and responds quickly as you would expect. I noticed no lag at all. It wakes almost instantly after opening the lid and is ready to go. When it comes to fan noise, doing general every day stuff like listening to music and surfing the web its completely silent. You will hear the fans kick on if you push it harder or watch videos in HD. Especially in performance mode. There are power modes in the Samsung settings app to make the fans quieter but I didn't find that they were too loud so I left alone. Comes with a Intel wifi AX211 card so no wifi 7 but supports up to wifi 6e. I ran some speed tests on my wifi 5, 6, and 6e. Speed tests all looked good there. Note that there is a LOT of Samsung apps pre-installed along with some Google apps and MacAfee AV software. I removed a lot of this immediately but some of the Samsung apps are needed to control different features of the laptop and pen functionality if you get the pen. Battery: Obviously battery life depends on a lot of factors but I'm seeing about 8 hours with normal use. Thats with screen brightness at 75% and in best performance power mode. It charges via USB-C and goes from 0 to 100% in about 2 hours. Summary: The Book4 360 is a versatile powerhouse that excels as both a laptop and tablet. Its stunning display is perfect for content creation and consumption, making it a top choice for those seeking a premium 2-in-1 device. For users demanding even higher performance, the Pro model offers enhanced capabilities.

Sleek, Light, Large Screen, Near Great Laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My out of the box impression: OOHHH A Windows powered laptop, that is going to give MacBook a run for it's money physically... (yes, I am aware of the massive difference between the two OS). This laptop right out of the box, is sleek. Very thin, super light, but still ha a very very big screen. Just a couple mm short of being totally edge to edge, you are not going to get much more closer. Full touch screen, and was very responsive. I use it almost exclusively in laptop mode. Comes with a full keyboard (aka, includes the number pad... one thing that is often pulled when trying to shrink a laptop size. Large responsive touch pad for mouse functionality. And YES!!! YES!!... it is a USB-C driven power supply. No custom power supply. A tiny (approx 3"x3"x1" power adapter, with a standard run-of-the-mill USB-C to USB-C wire. Super portable. and if you need a second or third for your travel backpack, or destination usage... 100's of quality options to choose from, at reasonable prices. Standard HDMI port, and 2 USB-C ports, and one USB style port. The one nitpick I have, is that there isn't a USB-C on the right side... So depending on where your power supply position is, could need just a tiny bit longer cord. Bright screen, having no issues seeing or reading from it. I haven't physically opened the laptop, not going to. But there is no indication that this is upgradeable later on. so what you buy is what you are going to get. I could be wrong, but I am not going exploring as this is very thin, I suspect that it is a custom part layout. So that is +/- in my book. Love the thin and light weight, but also don't like that I can't fix or upgrade components. Windows 11 is pre-built, and isn't a custom version. So one go much into that aspect, as you should know what you are getting.. Windows 11. Response time is great, super quick. The hardware doesn't fill over power. Very quick Wireless network response. I would like a wired network port, but I understand the size. So a simple USB-C dongle will work when I need the wired connection. This is a great option for a new college student, should have plenty of power to last the full 4 years of college. or a travel worker... needing to do work on the go, or in multiple locations, won't weigh down the bag, and going to give you want you need.

Outstanding Windows Laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Samsung PC and to say I am impressed would be putting it mildly. I use Windows sporadically as I generally prefer to stick to using a Mac. Specifically I do not like Windows laptops implementation of trackpads. To me they feel overly plastically and not at all precise. Well on this Samsung Galaxy Book this is the first Windows laptop that has a trackpad that does not totally suck! Ok, let us get a lot of the rest of the good out of the way. First, the build quality,. Unlike a lot of other Windows based laptops this one actually has a premium feet in its fit and finish. It has an aluminum body with no plastic to be found. This makes the machine have a substantial feel to it that is in no way cheap feeling. For a 15 inch laptop it is much lighter than I expected it to feel. And it's thin to boot. Bonus! There are two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports on the side one of which you charge the machine via an included USB-C charger and cable which means you do not have to lug around a sperate charger and extra cable. This is my preferred method of charging a laptop that does not rely on some proprietary charger and cable which makes me setting up my gear bag a lot simpler. Battery life is above average for a Windows laptop and charging is rather fast. The included 16 gigs of memory could be better but it's enough for light office usage and stuff like lights gaming. The 512GB of SSD storage is bare minimum and I would be happier with at least 1TB but it gets the job done with decent read/write times. The true star of the show here is the 15 inch AMOLED screen. While only a 1080p display it is rather sharp and crisp. I love it! I'm not a fan of touch screens but it's nice to know it's there if I ever need it. They keyboard is above average and so far I have enjoyed typing on it. As I mentioned earlier I prefer to use a Mac laptop but this is the first Windows machine I actually enjoy using.

Another Great Book4 from Samsung
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First impression Ultra portable! Just the right size and weight for ease of mobility. A plus would be Cellular capable but that is not the case here. Very thin screen but the entire build feels solid. Features/Specs Evo I7 Processor. This particular processor is designed mainly for ultra low power consumption so all day basic multitasking is available with a full charge! It does offer a boost to 5.4 GHz. Limited to 10 cores vs The Ultra I7 series which offers more processing cores and faster speeds while sacrificing power consumption. Still, this laptop is not doggy with plenty of processing power. It also offers 16 GB memory paired with a 512Gb SSD expandable to 2 TB. Other Features The Amoled screen is beautiful with the 1920X1080 resolution. Colors are excellent with near edgeless frame. Video calls very good. X360 Touchscreen. Includes a micro SD Slot. 2 USB C ports. 1 USB A Port. 1 HDMI Port and headphone/mic connection. Backlit Keyboard with 3 light levels of 30,60,100%. Keys have a great feel and for me which is a favorite, includes a 10 key pad. This all fits nicely together with the touch pad. Has a dedicated CoPilot Key along with some Great Function Keys. Fingerprint Sign in with the power button. I feel that Samsung has created a great series of Book4 Laptops with lots of options.

Great-looking screen, comfortable keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung - Galaxy Book4 360 2-in-1is an excellent laptop computer. I have been using it pretty much every day since acquiring it about two weeks ago. It has a 16-inch (diagonal) screen with a relatively elongated shape, so it comes across as wide left to right and short top to bottom when compared to other laptops. It is perfectly fine. Just pointing this out. Setup was fast and simple as it usually is with new computers these days. You are led through a series of setup activities with many explanations that you can read or skip as you go. You’ll likely need or want to set up a Microsoft account, and ultimately you end up on a Windows 11 home screen. At one point, Samsung jumps in and performs some updates of its own. The keyboard is pleasant to use, and I found myself getting comfortable with it very quickly. The keys are relatively close together compared to some laptops. Not a problem, but it makes it a little easier to accidentally bump an adjacent key if you’re somewhat fat-fingered like I am (and you try to type without looking at the keyboard!). The pressure required to activate a keystroke is neither too heavy nor too light. Like pretty much all laptops these days, this one has a built-in camera, and it works fine. The screen itself features Samsung’s new AMOLED technology. According to the internet, “AMOLED stands for Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode. It's a type of display technology that uses organic compounds to produce light when an electric current is applied. This allows for high contrast ratios and deep blacks, as well as vibrant colors.” To me, the screen looks great, with bright images and good contrast, so this new technology is coming through just fine. The display is a touchscreen as well, and this feature works fine as well. Personally, I’ve never been a big fan of touchscreens except in my car. This is why we have keyboards. All that that touching of the screen does is get fingerprints all over it, so I’m constantly reaching for a cloth and a bottle of glass cleaner. Connectivity is minimal, which has become sort of the norm on laptops these days. There is one USB-2 port (the older style with the rectangular socket and where the plug has to be oriented properly), two USB-C ports (the racetrack-shaped kind that can accept the plug oriented either way—they’re also called Thunderbolt ports), an HDMI port, which is nice for connecting an external monitor, and a microphone jack. Keep in mind that one of the Thunderbolt ports is needed to connect the laptop to AC power. As I said at the top, overall, this a very nice computer. Comfortable to use, lightweight, attractive in appearance, and with an excellent display. I expect to get much use out of it.

Fantastic Windows Laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used windows based laptops on a daily basis for over 25 years and currently have a Dell Lattitude 7440 (max specs) for work and MS Surfacebook 2021 (max specs) for play. This is a new for play laptop and I absolutely love it. Microsoft surface series has really set the bar for windows experience and IMO makes the best windows machines you can buy, this is the first I've used since adopting Surface products that I feel is equal to (or slightly superior) to MS offerings. I love the form factor: not sure officially but it feels very 16:9 which is both great for keyboard organization and compact but functional typing and for usable screen real estate. Running IDE's and local Docker is super smooth: everything feels great with ample processing speed and ram for just about any application -- even keeping your 200+ chrome tabs open. The touch screen is also great: one of several reasons that you really should consider a windows machine over Mac: touchscreens have been in windows machines for over 10 years now and you don't realize how convenient it makes the experience until you're forced to not use one. The one oddity for me is this laptop is hyped based on the tight integration of AI/Copilot features from windows11: I work in software development and machine learning so I'm familiar with lots of great use cases for AI (and lots of poo use cases). I'm struggling to see what is different about how AI is integrated into this laptop compared to other windows 11 machines with Microsoft 365 (e.g. office) - the access to copilot related features didn't feel noticeable different on this compared to my much older surface. In general I do like the ability to get integrated advice and suggestions, and the ability to access that tooling from many different paths is helpful. Ultimately the inclusion of AI as a laptop feature becomes another path to enable the functionality and it does improve access but I feel like its an iterative change more than revolutionary. This laptop is an amazing laptop regardless of that iterative change, but its amazing in build quality, specs and form factor, not because of AI.

Best Balance of Specs and Features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are certainly laptops with better specs for less money, but if you can get this one for under $1k it is a fantastic machine. I almost went with a similar lenovo for less money, but I appreciate how thin and light this laptop is compared to others Ive been looking at. I had been using a 14" Lenovo C940 since 2020 and truthfully there was nothmg wrong with it, I just missed a larger screen and the numeric keypad. This Galaxy Book4 360 kept a similar profile in a larger screen without feeling too bulky. I considered the new Lenovo 7i models, but they were a bit heavier/thicker than I wanted in the 15/16" range. This Samsung is fast, great screen, and have been very happy with it over the past week. Very much recommend.

Bad keyboard layout and speaker locations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like my galaxy book 4 overall but it has some problems. It runs well, the battery lasts for a long time, its quiet, and the screen has great resolution. But the addition of a number pad on the keyboard is so annoying. When your use to the backspace, enter, and shift keys being at the right end of the keyboard and then they add a number pad that shifts all the keys over a couple inches to the left it makes it significantly harder to type on. Theres never been a time in my life where I’ve thought a laptop’s number keys were too hard to use and it needed a number pad. It’s just such an unnecessary addition. Also, who thought it was a good idea to put the speakers on the bottom of the laptop? If you have it sitting on a desk or your bed then the sound gets muffled. If you like mac books but one of the workers trys to convince you that this is basically the PC verison of a mac book but cheaper, don’t listen. Just stick with what you already like.
