The best computer ever Performance, beautiful display

Great PC. I was able to install design program in it and fo the accounting work i needed. Fast ligh weight.

This is a great laptop. Love the display, speed and how sleek and stylish it is.

The screen and hardware design and manufacturing are amazing, but the OLED seems to have some PWM flickering, which might strain some eyes if used for long durations, especially at lower brightness (record a video of the screen and you will notice it). Maybe it was just my unit, but the touchpad would cut out intermittently. Not sure if this is a software, hardware, or firmware issue, but the mouse cursor would disappear as if I was typing (I wasn't), and sometimes the only way to bring it back was to click on the trackpad. This was really jarring, and even when it wasn't doing that, I would constantly accidentally be touching the giant trackpad with my left palm, creating accidental two finger scroll or right click gestures, so this is a software palm rejection issue. A lot of the preloaded Samsung software has middling or poor reviews on Microsoft store, so I think the problem is that while Samsung makes amazing hardware, their software is of questionable quality. Unrelated to this device, I have Samsung washer that I hate. If you leave the door open to load clothes, it keeps beeping intermittently to remind you to close the door for 5+ minutes before stopping. Like, do the programmers never do laundry? I'm loading clothes in there, sorting and flipping them. It's sometime terrible going to happen if I don't close this blasted door??

This 16 laptop is not quite as slick or smooth as my Mac Air 15 M3 but that OLED display is off the charts good with HDR videos. I compare them often in HDR and in dark scenes where all black improves the contrast of the pic it blows away the retina and IPS screen other laptops have. Its super light for a 16. You may need a BT speaker as the sound is not very powerful. If it did have better sound I would give it 5 stars.

Hardware is excellent, but windows and snapdragon have a lot of work to do with the software. That being said the display is beautiful, first party Microsoft stuff works treat, and of course the battery life is excellent.

16gb of RAM on a $1300 machine does not work. It's cool the snapdragon chip on how its quiet and battery life. But the amount you can do on this isn't much. This is the Windows version of the MacBook Air, but slower. Was looking forward to ARM coming to windows properly, but this first gen is not it. Give it a generation or two and it will be more flushed. Considering benchmark tests online online show this as around an M2 speed, but M2 is now 2 generations behind Apple. Good first step, but wait a year or two until it is the 2nd or 3rd gen. Give developers more time to design for ARM processors, it does a good job at handling x86 programs emulated, but native ARM apps is the end goal. Be careful on which X1 chip you get, either the 84 on the 1tb 16 inch or the 80 on the others. If you are to get one make sure you get the one for your needs. Although on a 16gb machine the 84 chip will be bottle necked by RAM. But I would recommend waiting, or if you are to get one order one with 32gb of RAM if you plan on using the computer for more than a Chromebook with one or two applications open.

Great laptop. Bought for my wife who needed this for work. Has performed flawlessly. Great touchscreen and is perfect for what she needed to accomplish. Would definitely buy again
