It is one of the best laptops I have ever had. It is fast and good, and its battery is very good, to the point that it lasts for 3 or 4 days. It helped me a lot in my studies in cybersecurity. It is very beautiful and simple, and I advise everyone to buy it.

It took me forever to decide on the 16”/1TB Book 4 Edge. I kept checking into the Asus ProArt line, the Surface options, and on and on. Finally this thing went on sale and I ordered it via Best Buy, as no store around had the version I wanted.
I am very glad I pulled the trigger on this. My previous daily was a MacBook Pro M1. Macs are great, don’t get me wrong. Thing is, I’d like something with quick, efficient window management and the best MS Office experience. It is flawless on the ARM-based system.
After adjusting the Dolby settings I have full-bodied sound and good control over the various projector systems I come across as a college professor. DaVinci Resolve for ARM is surprisingly good for my online stuff. It is very responsive, battery lasts an entire workday, and the Windows workflow helps me get things done quickly, especially with CoPilot’s suggestions when I am answering email.
Now that I’ve experienced Samsung’s latest laptop, I think I may pick up a Galaxy phone while I’m at it.

The laptop runs well and I enjoy the multiple performance modes. The Snapdragon chip does have some compatibility issues with niche or older programs but nothing that I exactly need. The integrated graphics make it unable to run any games well that have a "world" but can do some other games.

Pros : Great battery life, best display have seen, beautiful styling and plenty of ports. It is pretty fast and runs the major apps that I use including most of my older games, I installed Visual Studio on it and plan on developing AI applications starting in November.

I went from an hp laptop to a samsung galaxy book 4 edge. The Amoled screen is amazing. Its clear and the colors just pop. I like the back lit keyboard. Which I had to have. It has plenty of storage and GB. It is great for a home laptop. I also love the sapphire Blue color that it is. I highly recommend

I am very disappointed. My other computer is a Lenovo yoga 2 in 1 that I bought in 2018. Still going strong but i needed a laptop w a 10 key but still very thin and lightweight. Which they do have in the Yoga but since I have Samsung phone and tablet and this Samsung laptop is supposed to work seamlessly with them I purchased this instead of going with my gut feeling and getting another Lenovo. I could have gotten that with the same specs at a much cheaper price. I have now tried since I received this to connect via Bluetooth and my home and hotspot Wi-Fi w both the phone and tablet with no success. I have taken it to a friend who is much more computer literate than I and he could not get them connected either. They will connect for about 10 seconds and then disconnect. I have uninstalled security software, turned off the firewall even reset the computer itself etc. One of the features it brags about as being able to use your Samsung tablet as a 2nd screen wirelessly. Nope can't do that either. All in all I wish I would have stayed with the Lenovo brand. This should work much easier than this. If you are a computer techy I'm sure you could do this and that and get it to work. I am not that guy. This is supposed to be plug and play for what these cost. There are plus's to it cosmetically, It is very light and thin and the keyboard layout w the ten key included is great. The entire computer is very compact but functional at the same time. They get A+ on that part. It's just that all the bells and whistles that it promises do not work. Based on that I would not recommend this brand for a PC

Brand response from Samsung

Hello there KellyS, thank you for taking the opportunity to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. We value your candor as we continue to make improvements on the functionality and performance of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your PC for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. To seamlessly connect your Galaxy Book4 Edge with other devices, use Samsung's Multi Control for keyboard/mouse sharing (Galaxy phones/tablets) and Link to Windows/Phone Link for screen mirroring, notifications, and file transfers, ensuring both devices are on the same Samsung account, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth are on, and apps are updated for the full, intuitive AI-powered ecosystem experience. There could be a number of reasons why a Bluetooth device may randomly disconnect from your Galaxy phone or tablet. It could be that the device has a low battery, was moved too far away from the Galaxy device, or the Bluetooth function was accidentally turned off. The first thing to do when you are having difficulty connecting to the internet is make sure your modem and router are working properly. Reset your modem and router according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Samsung tablets with One UI 3.1 or later have that capability, including the Galaxy Tab S10! As long as your PC has Windows 10 or later, you can mirror its screen to a Galaxy tablet. You can even control your computer from the tablet's screen. Please feel free to check out, "Bluetooth device won't stay connected to Galaxy phone or tablet,' "Samsung PC will not connect the internet," and "Use your Galaxy tablet as a second screen with your Windows PC" to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your device. If you have any questions for us afterward or if you would like any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to Support. Thanks for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra
